I'm 13, I absolutely love wolves, American Idol, and rockclimbing. I like horseback riding too but don't get to do it very often. Ok, last year I think I went through one of the most horrible things a 14 year old girl could go through, my bsf(best sister friend) got really jealous of me, and mad at me when I saw how bad me and her (and other friends) acted. So, she did stuff to make me gain weight, and then at one point, she just stopped hanging out with me, and got my other 2 bff's to leave me. So I speant 3 months by myself and being my own best friend. Now, today, I hate myself, I'm super shy(i used to be outgoing) and I never talk to much! And I want to make new friends but it seems like I'm to shy too! I need advice on how to love myself and tips on how to gain a friendship.(I'm sorry that I'm asking for advice on two things, I couldn't find a place that looked right for hating yourself and stuff..) Wow, you have the same problem as me! Except I have found my own way, I have become a One-friend-girl. I become best friends with one girl who I've known awhile and get stuck to her. But I'm gradually getting over it. I'm not sure if the girl who did it was jealous but she did alright. Tips:
1) Talk to random people.
2) Be yourself.
3) Smile!
4) Don't get to cocky talking to random people
5) I'm an idiot, and you don't really NEED to listen to me, but... oh nevermind.
6) If you don't raise your hand much in class, start. It'll give the impression your more outgoing and aren't to scared to be wrong, and if you get it right, smile.

I'll start by describing myself as I have been described by people:
I write amazing songs on guitar. I'm the best actor in my high school's theater company. According to many I'm the smartest kid they know. According to a similar number I'm extremely attractive. They claim that I'm also one of the nicest, easiest-going and can hold stupid and intellectual conversations with anyone equally well.
Okay. I'm not an egotistical selfless son of a bitch. These are things people have said to me. Here's something that bothers me: I have never had a girlfriend. I've never even been on a real date. Ever. I came close a few times, but then one girl decided to tell me yes when she really meant she didn't like me that way, and then another got as far as telling me what to tell her dad when I came to pick her up, but then changes her mind an hour later, because. No real specific reason, end of two or three weeks of getting to know eachother and whatever.
I keep trying. I generally don't like to approach girls like that unless I make eye contact and float a smile across once or twice and have one returned. Everyone else says that works, and then you go talk to them. I can't even make eye contact.
So, am I just an unlikely kid who should shut up and stop bitching and moaning, or is there some insight anyone might have here? I'm inclined to believe the first one, really. (link)

Ok, your kind of like me, I really don't know how to flirt and I'm a girl!! It's supposed to be programed into every girl. Not me. Anyway, I advise just ask one of your friends to either hook you up or go on what my guyfriends call it, girl-shopping. AKA: go to the mall, eat watch girls. To me, its perverted but it may work. I would make sure you know who the heck the girl is though.

We have this p.e. teacher and he is hot, sweet, funny, and did I mention hot? I think he noticed me like how I noticed him. We made eye contact at least 3times, and he held open the door. Not to mention he was showing off his bball skills. But say he didnt notice me how can I make sure he will? And how can I loose some weight in about a week thatll make my legs look.. well.. less big, and my arms stronger? Maybe not in one week but soon!! The real p.e. work starts next week. Ok, well sounds like your galfriend just likes him as a friend. I have this guyfriend and him and my other galfriend are awesome buds. She says like, I miss u so0o0o0o0o0o0o0 much and stuff like that, she doesn't like him though, he says the same things, not meaning the I love you part. Like I love you as a friend. No, I'm sorry but I don't know much about it, although I did go Europe, but I wasn't a foreign exchange student. All you need to do is (I think) is learn the language and start studying things relevent to them. (What ever country your going to) I really don't know much about it. That's all I can say. Oh, and don't be shy, you can probably make some friends and get some penpals, (for when ever you get back to your country) and so this is all I can say.

I've been looking for a chihuahua for about a month now. I've finally found a breeder and picked out my puppy. I picked out a girl and she's white with light brown specks here and there. Well, the thing I always do with my pets, is wait till I get them home, and watch them, see their personality and name them for certain moments or things they do a lot. But if you don't want to do that, I have a suggestion, Speckle. I dunno if you like that or not but thats what I would name her if I had her. Okay, so my friend just hooked up me and this guy. & I like him, and I'm pretty excited.
But the chances are my parents arn't going to let me date. He want me to go to the movies with him, and personally I don't like going to the movies of first dates. Excpecially when you just turned 13 and have overprotective parents.
I offerered to go to the pool club with him, I don't think he's too crazy about that idea. And he really does like me, alot. I made up the excuse not to go to the movies. I feel bad. What should I do? (link)

Well, my friend has this problem, she invites a couple friends and has her b/f do that to. He knows she has overprotective parents and respects. Her parents listen in on their calls. Just invite a couple of friends and have your b/f do the same.

hey well last night i installed the sims 2 along with the sims 2 nightlife. my computer has a big memory so i guess i could put lots of stuff in it. the thing is when i started to play the neighboorhoods were loading so slow .. actually EVERYTHING was loading slow .. i'm not sure why this happens because when i use the internet my computer loads fast. I have limewire and have about 400+ songs in it so i was wondering maybe that's one of the problems that my sims game is loading so slow? please help .. i rate 5's. Thank You (link)

I love that game and a lot my time is spent waiting for it to load instead of playing it, its just the game. Although it could be the computer, check the memory space on it. If its full, well then delete some of the old games you never play anymore or something, let me know how nightlife goes! I really want that game but instead I got the Official Game Guide and told my mom I would wait a year till I could get the add-ons. Hope this helps!

I just plugged in my iPod to my other computer and somehow, I exidenetly deleted all of my songs. I know I can't get them back, but I have other new songs on my iTunes and now I want to update it and put it on my iPod but when I click on update iPod it's gray and I can't click on it. How do I fix this so I can put new songs on my iPod? Do I have to register, and if so how? Thank you! (link)

Well, you may have iTunes on Automatic update, and it won't let you add or delete songs. Mine did that and I couldn't control what went on my iPod unless things were checked. To see if its on automatic or not, go to Prefrences and go to the section on top and click the iPod. It will have check boxes and they will say something like, automatically update checked boxes and things like that on top, then below that, there is a box, below that there is another check box that says, Manually update iPod. Or something around there, it might even be in the box, I can't remember exactly but its there. This was on Macintosh. I'm not sure if its the same on PC's.

Ya know, i had a lot of stuff done to me by rumors, just don't talk with them, don't join in on the gossip. And with your friend, tell her. She'll appresciate it, especially when you tell her and she doesn't hear it from another person, or overhears the gossip with other girls. I was hated by almost everyone that knew me too. WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T CHANGE! It isn't you, if you "flip out" try and notice it, and try to stop. Did someone you know start rumors about you? That is what happened to me, one of my so-called friends started rumors about me saying I was a lousy friend, she is the lousy friend, anyway, if that is what happened, don't be friends with that person anymore, they aren't right. I would be friends with the person who told you this, that means they're a loyal friend and would tell you if people were talking behind your back. Make friends with the people you already know, maybe aren't the greatest friends with you, but you still know them. It is a good start. And remember, try not to "flip out" if that is what your "friends" call it. Try and notice when your flipping out, and tell your friends to tell when your flipping out so you can stop.

Well today i approached my boyfriend that i told one of my friends he was cute. But it meant nothing because it was over myspace, and i was commenting his pictures. I mean being i have a boyfriend, i can't be super nice because then he'd get mad. He wasn't too happy about it but he said as long as it meant nothing that it's fine. And it didn't, see i think he's worried though becuase my friend that i called cute thinks i'm the most gorgeous girl he's ever saw and all that.
My thing is that i've tried telling my boyfriend that it means nothing in multiple ways, i've told him straight out, i told him not to worry, but i still have a feeling he does worry, because now he asks if me and my friend talk, and what we talk about.
So my question is how can i prove to my boyfriend who i love dearly and would never "drop" him for anyone, that there is nothing to worry about?

Well, if you still think he's worrying, tell him, and tell him you would never, "drop" him for anyone else. If you told your friend he was cute and it meant nothing, then just tell your friend, if he thinks your the most gorgeous girl in the world, then tough for him. Just say to your boyfriend what I just said, tough for the guy who thinks your gorgeous, your boyfriends cuter.

Ok, if he hits you I certainly don't recomend it. It sounds like he has tempermental issues. If your only 17, I really don't recomend it. You have so many more people to meet. Do you really want to spend the rest of your life with a guy you dated when you were *17*? That is supposed to be bold. If he guilts you into it, don't marry him! I strongly don't recomend it. Just tell him, don't sweet him all up and stuff just say,"Ok, (name) I really do love you, but I want to go off to school first, and who knows who I'll meet there? I don't think your the one." And walk off, that way he won't have time to get angry.

Okay...so I was on this site and it had like how too's! IT was sooooo weird...they said that you can use an iron (the one you use to iron clothes and smooth out) to straighten your hair. They say u can't use it often (i wouldn't try it) but does it work? (link)

I think they mean a FLAT IRON, did they specicy that it was a clothes iron? If they just said, "You can use an iron to straighten your hair," they probably meant flat iron. No, using a clothes iron doesn't work, it gets too hot and it would burn your hair. Trust me, I've accedentily grabbed one while it was on...

Ok well my mom is the type that dosent listen. She dosent trust me going to my friends house when the parents arent home. She thinks we going to do something. Thats gets me very mad to cause i try to tell her we wont but she dosent believer me. I lost my trust with her once. I want to get it back but it just wont work and i dont know how. Just tell your friends that your having trouble with your mom and say you'll have to be a little scarce seeing for a bit, that is all you will need to tell them, then just don't go over to your friends house when her parents aren't home, or anything else your mom doesn't like. Hopefully that will help. And be on time for your curfue, or earlier.
