Like a month ago, my friend Paul told me he thought my friend Victoria was just a little hot. I said, oh, but I like him. Seriously, I love him I think. I am 13, but I do. I have had many boyfriends, but somethings special about him.
At this dance Friday, Paul was like I am going to ask Victoria to dance. Victoria is like my best friend too. I pretended I told victoria but I didnt, then I told Paul she was like "Eww."
So now apperently he really likes her. I have been preteneding to try and hook them up, just to talk to Paul. Paul and I talk on the phone, but it is always about Victoria! I get in troble in english and math, always because I am showing off for Paul.
I try and show off, like I say, "Paul you might now like Victoria, she hasnt kissed anyone." Then he said, Dont worry, she will get kissed if you get her to go out with me.
Victoria doesnt really like him. She might go out with him, because I think she knows I like him. Victoria and I are friends and all, almost best friends, but we try to be better then one another.
Im not sure what to do. Should I keep talking bad about Victoria? I rather Paul then Victoria though, because Vicotoria and I are that great of friends!

If I shower with my straightner in the bathroom, when I get out of the shower, the straightner is all wet, because of the moisture. Is this bad for my striaghtner?
I would take your straightner to a dry place like your room. I sit on my floor in front of a mirror every morning to straighten my hair. The bathroom is a very dangerous place for a lot of things. As you learned when you were younger, water and electrical wires equal either electricusion, or a fire.
Like I said, I would put your straightner in a dry area.

If I were you, I would get them waxed. Waxing isn't a big deal. I get mine waxed once a month because it relaxes me. It's A LOT better than plucking.

ok... so well i am 14 very soon to be 15 and well i started my period when i was 12 and well things were ok and all it was going normal and such but last yr around Nov. it stopped and i have it a month for like 2 or 3 dayz then it stops and then i don't have it for 3 months ok well like thin year jan. it was at the beginning of the month lasted 5 days then in feb. i had it at the beginning and the end of the month and in mar. i had it in the middle of the month from the 19-23 then i didn't have it in April or May and in june i had it 2 days 26 and the 27th now it's july 19 and i still haven't had it so what the fuck is wrong with me and i'm not pregnant i haven't had sex so should i get on birth control to make me normal again or not??? please help and my mom knows about this but she just tells me it's a blessing i'm worried i wanna do stuff with guys but i'm scared because i haven't had my period in like ever so please help
Not every girl has a "normal" period. Infact, hardly any girl does. You stressing out about it makes it even more abnormal.
If you want it to be normal, be put on birth control. It really is for more than preventing pregnancy. My mom put me on it when I was 16 to clear my acne. I've been on it for 4 years now. I've also had a regular peirod and a clear face!

I am 20 years old and I am sexually active. About a month ago I was diagnosed with a yeast infection and treated it with a 3-day Monistat treatment. Now I am pretty sure that I have one again with all the same symptoms (white discharge, odor, severe itching, redness, and painful intercourse. I heard that it is uncommon to get repeated yeast infections and that it is possible that my boyfriend had contracted it from me last time I had one, and keeps infecting me with it every time we have sex now. Immediately after we had sex a couple days ago the severe itching started. I'm just wondering if he is going to keep infecting me if that is at all possible and why I might keep getting yeast infections. Thank you!

Yes, it is possible that your boyfriend can get the yeast infection from you. The ONLY way to treat his, is a doctor. I know it's embarrassing, but it's life. It happens.
Here is a real gross story for you... I remember when I was in high school, my friend Ally became sexually active. The first time her boyfriend 'went down on her' she had a developing yeast infection, but didnt know it. His throat became very sore and bumps developed. Low and behold.. it was from her yeast infection.
He got treatment from a doctor and everything was peachy!

I hate my car. I hate paying for the car that I hate so much. I hate a lot of things, but I chose to be happy with those things because I only have one life.
Maybe you should explain to her about happiness and be positive. Don't baby her. Be blunt with her, yet not to where she will be offended by what you say.

My brother has been acting kind of odd lately...
... he thinks that he's a rubber ducky, according to him. When we call him Tom (which is his name) he says "No, Duckie!". My parents think it's just a stage, but he's ten, and I think he should know better...
He won't let anyone in his bedroom, but his rubber duckies, and won't talk to anyone but them. He also won't eat our food, only bread crumbs. I'm really concerned about this, as mental problems tend to run in our family....
As weird as it sounds... it's a phase. I have a ten year old sister and every movie she watches, she wants to be called that name.
Right now, she is ANASTASIA!

If mental problems are common in your family, get him checked out. My sister is ADHD.. and it's not an excuse. She REALLY is. She has to get medical attention, so don't feel bad, or embarassed. Just take him, see what's up, and life will be peachy!

Paige is right, it is called discharge. Although, it goes into more detail. Especially when going through puberity. You'll get 'horny' without even realizing it. Your mind will wonder off about a guy and you'll discharge a little. Also, your body cleans itself out. Your vagina has it's own cleaning process.
BUT.. if its a little fishy smelling, itchy, or even thick, it could be an infection. Although it sounds "gross", it's VERY common! Anything can cause them. Tight jeans, sweat, perfume, changing soaps, riding horses.. Lot's of things.
So, keep that in mind. If it is a little unusual, use a yeast infection treatment.

lately ive just been so FED UP with my appearance i hate looking in the mirror because its not what i want to see =( everyone else is so much prettier than me or thats what i think. my hair bugs me it never stays right i wish i was tanner i wish i was everything else..

Everyone is unhappy with something about themselves. I hate my fat thighs. They don't match with my little bitty waist. My hair NEVER fixes the way I want it to. My boyfriend hates his acne.
These things you see NO ONE else notices. I promise. I know I'm at least 30 lbs over weight.. but who cares. I'm happy and that's all that matters.
My boyfriend is SKINNY! Almost sickly looking. We look like a circus couple, to me.. but everyone says we're adorable together.
Don't be so hard on yourself. You really just need to accept who you are. You only live one life. Don't focus so much on the negative things. Let them slide. There are SO many more important things. Also, if you're positive, others will be too. One negative attitude can turn an entire room negative. It's contagious.
Just be happy with who you are, what you are, and focus on future successes. Friends are not a necessity. You don't have to have them. I have only 2 friends... My boyfriend, and a friend I have had for 8 years. Although, I NEVER see her. We don't talk much. We don't live next to each other anymore and she's at a completly different college. I know that if I ever needed anything, she would be there.
It's you that makes the decision whether to be happy or not. You might not like what is going on around you, but you control your emotions.

I use to have a LOT of friends and I use to be kind of popular. (Nice, smart, kinda of quiet) But I guess.. I just hardley talked to anyone because I was shy.. so I kind of lost friends. So. now im in 9th grade. in 7th grade, i met this girl and she was really nice. then i got closer to her. then she started like controlling me, but i wasnt even thinking? she made me lose alot of my friends! and she started acting really weird, so not very many people liked her. she got me REALLY unpopular. and way shy. now im afraid to talk to people. i have 1 best friend. and like 3 others that i sometimes talk to. my best friend doesnt really want me to talk to other people, she thinks we're like sisters, it's weird. but yeah and my other friends have tons of friends that they talk to. so im kind of left out. and i hate it when we get free time in class or we have to choose partners, because noone ever picks me! please help.. how can i get my friends back, become more outgoing, be nicer, less shy. oh yeah, and the girl that i was friends with in 7th grade, she moved. like a few weeks ago. yay! thanks guys. this will really help.

in my room, my big furniture things are white. like the rails on my bed, my armoire, my dresser, bookshelf, etc. and the walls are blue, so its kinda of pleasant you know? well.. i got this computer desk thats wooden, like dark wood. should i chunk it and wait until i get a new one, or does that kind of sound ok? if you walked into one of your friend's rooms and saw all white then ugly wood, what would you think?
I'm a very artsy/crafty person. I would decorate it up.

I saw You, Me & Dupree today and it was rated PG-13. At one point in the movies, Dupree said the F word. Since when is that word allowed to be in PG-13 movies?
Ratings these days are OUT OF CONTROL. My parents and I decided that my 10 year old sister was starting to get a little out of hand with the way she dressed and talked and knew it was from television. We literally had to block at least 13 channels because of the language and nudity. PG-13 contains nudity and horrible language. Even cable television is allowed GD, the 'F' word, and can show a naked butt. HOW CRAZY IS THAT????
When my boyfriend and I rent a movie, we have to rent PG because of the nudity.
I have come to the point where I don't even watch television and don't spend my money and time on movies.

okay, i know this question is asked a lot and people always say to shave in the direction the hair grows. well i do. but it doesnt get all the hair. and so when i switch directions i obviosly get the red bumps and it bleeds a little. i want to use a good cream amd i heard that noxzema is really good. any tips would be great because i've never had a successful shave without any bumps or a little blood.
If you trim the hair first, you will less likely have irritation. Use an aloe based shaving cream. Shave UP..towards your belly button. When shaving your bikini line, shave out..towards the legs. Your razor should follow the direction of the legs.
A large problem of the irritation could be the razor. I would recommend a Venus. They're very good razors.
Also, as soon as you're finished shaving, dry off the area and apply lotion. Lotion every day!
If you follow those steps, you should have no skin irritation.

Ermm.... I'm a 15 year old girl, and when I was 10 my grandma gave me this teddy bear for my birthday. It's very cute, with brownish fur, and little button eyes. And it has a green vest. I named it "Mr. Paddington". Lately, something weird has been happening. Whenever I've been around it I've felt... odd. As though I had a crush on it. Now I'm embaressed to change with it in the room, and at night when I imagine my first kiss, it's Mr. Paddington I imagine having it with. I've told my friends that I'm dating him, but they think I'm joking.... I'm afraid to tell anyone for real, because what if they took him away? I was just wondering if this is normal..... and if I'm allowed to someday marry my teddy bear?

I have this twiching right above the left side of my right knee, it has been going on for many days.. Then my right foot is really swollen and puffy,It hurts really bad to walk , the pain is mostly where the top of my foot meets my leg, and none of my shoes fit. plus the pain is awful.
Does anyone know what could have caused this and how to make it go away?
Because of the CP, the muscles do funny things.
Cerebral Palsy effects the part of the brain which controls the muscles.
I'm very sorry for your pain. Even with a doctor, there isn't much treatment for it.
