When I woke up this morning my phone said I had a voicemail said I'd recieved a message at 3:08 A.M.
I listened to it, and it was my best guy friend, saying, "Hey, I don't want this to sound corny, but I like being your friend. I don't know why I called you right now, I was sleeping, but yeah, but I'm gonna go back to sleep."

We recently found out my dad has a girlfriend and has had her for a few years. My parents are now going thru a divorce and have been for the past two years (since we found out) He says he wants a relationship with my older sister and I but shows us otherwise. He is verbally abusive to us and when living at home he started drinking heavily and started to get physically abusive. I just want to know how to get over not having the man I looked up to my whole life? I am 24 years old and I dont want this to affect anymore of my personal relationships any longer. The best advice i can give you is to understand that there are sooo many great people out there...dont shut them out in fear of them turning out like your dad. to get over your dad leaving i would look foward to the future and concentrate on you..dont worry so much about him. he is off doing his own thing..he has problems and its better off this way. you seem like a great person who has so much ahead of rhemselves..just keep your chin up and look foward to what life has to offer you.

No..you dont have to say anything. You should go with the flow and relaaax definately. Kissing comes natural..look i have told this to many of my friends who have never kissed before.and after their first kiss they would always come back to me and say "you know what melissa? you were right." So trust when everyone says its natural. when the right moment comes..eith you or him slowly move in for the kiss..and as long as you dont slobber all over or shove ur tongue down his throat all wild and nasty..you will be wonderful. if your reallly concerned go to google and look up tips

I'm 15/f, and my mum has a lot of problems including alcoholism which I won't go in to, but she split from my dad when I was 7.
They never told me why but by the time I was 11, I'd worked out she is gay. It scared me so much, I convinced myself I was insane so I wouldn't have to deal with it. And no-one else knew. Then, about 18 months ago, my mum told me and my brother that she's gay. It hurt to hear it out loud, but was a bit of a relief too.
We've never ever spoke about it since, but I know she has a current partner, and she's becoming more... open with her partner in front of me. Which I can't stand. I can't tell her how this gets to me, I just can't bring myself to mention her sexuality, it hurts too much. What can I do, apart from walking out everytime they're together? (link)

your mom needs your acceptance. think about all the gay teens who long for their parents acceptance of their sexuality. your mom is in thei same position. try and accept it. your mom is a human bbeing and this is her sexuality. i never really saw things from the eyes of a gay person until i watched some movies about gay teens coming out to their parents..so maybe watch some of those and maybe you will see things diferently. of course it is going to be weird..but try and accept it and over time it will get easier

everyone gets tired sometimes..maybe from school or other stress..so if your bf/gf is tired once in awhile and needs some time to catch up..thats fine..i mean your not a robot and you cant be all I LOVE U I LOVE u if your feeling really tired and you just wana crash for a little bit. this doesnt mean the person doesnt love the other..it just means they need some time to rest up. if it becomes a habit..then i would be concerned

Me and my boyfriend of two years just broke up. I don't know what to do anymore. I feel really depressed. And it feels impossible to get over him because we planned everything. Plus I have depression on top of that and he was truly the only best friend and soulmate I ever had. He was the one who broke it off because he's suddenly not ready for a relationship.
How do you get over someone for that long?

I love knowing that my boyfriend is caring and trusting but I can't help but feel like I need to watch him. I know he likes me and doesn't want to be with anyone else, but I can help checking the comments he gets from other girls on Myspace or how he looks at other girls. I know its pretty normal for any girl to do that. When he doesn't message me (when he's online) I get nervous that he thinks I'm insane or something. Yet I know that he probably isn't paying attention to the screen, is busy, etc. I've never been like this with any of my other boyfriends and he makes me nervous/intimidated, (In a good way) because he's exactly the type of guy I've always wanted. I just don't want to lose him but I know inside he likes me a lot. How can I deal with these somewhat jealous feelings I get when he talks with other girls and understand he likes me not them? heyy i know what you mean! girls leave my bf tons of picture comments about his beautiful blue eyes..but you cant et too upset over it because hes with you! he could easily have the other girls who call him hot or whatever..but hes with you ! jealousy is a normal feeling..i think what you should do is open up communication more with him..if me or my bf gets a lil jealous we talk to each other about it..sometimes a little reassurance from him is all you need..like you might be together watching a movie at your house..bring up the subject maybe..and i guarentee you he will pull you tighter and let you know how much he cares for you and rtheres no reason to be upset..reassurance from himm will help a lot more than reassurance from us

I am so upset with a psychic reading that I had today. I paid a lot of money- 80 dollars for the reading and it was done over the phone. I only did it because my mother said she's been going to this guy for the last 15 years and that he was very good- and his other testimonials on his website looked promising. Well I asked him if I would end up with the guy that I love- I've been friends with him for a long time. He was really negative and said he did NOT love me- that he thought of me as a fantasy and not reality and he would never commit to me. it sounds like your just fine..142 isnt a lot..plus your an athlete so your in shape..i wouldnt worry about anything..if your that concerned just increase excersise and eat healthier..but do notttt become fanatic. you can probably eat food without counting calories and being fanatic and still stay at the same weight if you keep up with your activities

All you can do is let the girl know where you stand..that you think she can do better and how you have feelings for her. Other than that..its all in her hands. if he did he would not be asking you to suck his "you know what." Instead he would want to hang out with you,cal you on the phone,talk with you, get to know you. But all this guy wants is some action. You doing this for him will NOT make him like you in the bf/gf way..you doing it might make him feel good..but it wont make him want to date you. I'm a junior in high school and in my experience...its part of life to drift away from others. You will probably get closer with someone else. I know its not what you WANT to hear..but its what happens (especially in middle school) Throughtout elementary,middle,and high school..i have grown close to some people for a couple years..we would eventually drift apart..then i would get close with other people..its like a cycle. I'm not saying things cant be fixed..all im saying is this is natural for you to experience stuff like drifting apart from a friend. What you coulllld try is hanging out with her again more..and kind of repairing the broken bonds to make things stronger. Who knows..you could wind up getting back to being really close with her. If not..i know its sad to think about..but people change and drift apart

While i have never been for abortion, i find my self in an aknward situation. My friend thinks that she is pregnant. but she doesnt know for sure. she doesnt live close enough to a hospital to go and she cant buy a home preganancy test. I think that she is just feeling gulity because she had sex with her boyfriend and the stress i giving her these symptoms. But we have no way of knowing for sure. yeah i think its a little weird. I think its a sign of insecurity on her behalf. its sign of her insecurity and jealousy. maybe why shes inisting you dont talk to her friends is because she thinks you will become interested in them? maybe reassure her that your with HER.
