This sounds really dumb, but I need help
I'm 13 and I'm not sure who to be. Sometimes I feel like cuddling with my stuffed animals like a little kid, but sometimes I want to have a boyfriend and be a teenager. Is this really stupid or what? I'm not sure which I am...

That is not stupied at all... most people feel this way..when i was 13 i wasnt sure who i was..and then like it's good to be both people ...you have a whole life ahead of you to start thinking about boyfriends and stuff..and belive me growing up isnt no picknick either..so you shouldnt act childish and stuff(not saying you do) but you can still cuddle with animals..i know i always sleep with the teddy bear my ex boyfriend gave me...and i cuddle up with my currect boyfrined too...so yeah ..sorry if i didnt help

its definately ok! 13 is the middle age. your not too old to do "kid" stuff..but your getting to the age of wanting boyfriends and that sort of thing. its all fine..i was the same way

I dont think its stupid at all !! A lot of people have these knids of moments. You can be both. No reverse that you cacn be anything you want to be ! I mean yes, you are a teenager but you are still a kid. You just started youre teenage years and its ok to still act or even feel like a kid.

no, theres nothing wrong with you, at all! everybody has moments like that. my boyfriend and i have been together almost 10 months, and i still have moments where i just wanna put my hair in pigtails, and jump on the bed. as a matter of fact, i stayed at a hotel last week and i encouraged my cousins and friends to jump on the bed with me. I'm a teenager. I have a boyfriend. I still have a stuffed horse. I'm serious. I love that horsie... he makes me feel all safe and warm at night.
You are only thirteen... don't worry. You can be both. I know sixteen-year-olds who have stuffed animals.
And who says you can't have a boyfriend and still have stuffed animals?
I understand your concept though.
Age is just a number.. remember that. Do exactly what you want. Have friends.. have boyfriends.. color in coloring books (I do!), have stuffed animals.. go see movies.. do exactly what makes you happy. There isn't a definitive line which says "When you're this age you can no longer have stuffed animals, and you must begin to acitively pursue boys."
Be who you are. You don't have to be like all your friends... sure they might not have a stuffed animal, and maybe they have boyfriends. But so what? You're not them and they're not you. Be yourself, because you are a beautiful person and your true beauty can only shine when you be yourself.
