anyway, if I do you work out 1 day & then I do 500 sit-ups another day, would that help any?

i looked up some ab workouts for you online. i just went to goodle and typed in "ab workouts" TONS of stuff came up. here are some of the websites, with good information on them.
Ball Crunches
Lie face-up with the ball resting under your mid/lower back. Cross your arms over the chest or place them behind your head. Contract your abs to lift your torso off the ball, pulling the bottom of your ribcage down toward your hips. As you curl up, keep the ball stable (i.e., you shouldn't roll). Lower back down, getting a stretch in the abs, and repeat for 1 set 12-16 reps.

Lie on your back with knees bent, hands behind your head. Keeping lower back pressed into the floor, lift your shoulder blades off the floor and then curl your upper body diagonally across your body towards your right knee. Contract your abs and obliques as hard as you can at the top of the movement. Lower back down and repeat for 16 reps on the same side before switching sides. Do 1 or more sets.
^those are the crunches to the side i suggested before
Lie face up on the floor and lace your fingers behind your head. Bring the knees in towards the chest and lift the shoulder blades off the ground without pulling on the neck. Straighten left leg out to about a 45-degree angle while simultaneously turning the upper body to the right, bringing the left elbow towards the right knee. Switch sides, bringing the right elbow towards the left knee. Continue alternating sides in a 'pedaling' motion for 2 sets of 12-16 reps.
Lie in the floor with knees pulled in over the chest. Place a ball between knees and stretch arms our to the sides like an airplane, palms facing up. Contract the abs and twist the hips to the right, bringing knees towards the floor (keep your shoulders flat on the floor). Don't touch the floor, but use the abs to bring knees back to start and go to the other side.
Lie on your side balanced on forearm, feet and hips stacked on top of one another, other hand behind head. Holding the torso steady, slowly contract your abs and lift the hips off the floor (don't sink into shoulder). Lower and repeat.

when you do these or situps, its best to place your fingers above your head and your elbows out this prevents putting strain on your neck. also make sure you lift your chin to the sky. sorry, i didnt really answer your question, but like i said, i've never really done sit ups for my abs. i hope what i gave you helps. good luck. ♥
well im 14 and my parents got divorced a few years ago and my dad married this person i hate! she is seriously like the wicked step mother and it blows. She always talks bad about my mom too and my mom is the sweetest person in the world. How can i tell her to shut the hell up without getting grounded forever. help! P.S. sorry its so long!
try talking to your dad about it and telling him you want to tell your step mom how you feel. then go find your step mom and explain to her that you dont want to hear the bad things shes got to say about your mom, and as her to keep it to herself. be polite while doing this, and dont blow up in her face. if this doesnt work, i'd talk to your dad again and see if he can tell your step mom to stop.

I am a young lady that is popular, with books and everything. I want to stand out even more, I want to run track. First is track for everone, and second what do I have to do to prepare for the tryouts in January?
First off, it depends on what you want to run. Sprints or distance? Distance I would practice running a mile everyday, and work your way up to longer distances. Sprints, you need to lift weights for your arms and legs. You also need to practice a good running form, which would be looking straight ahead and not swinging your arms infront of you. I would ask the coach for the track team what she//he suggests you do, becuase every school is different.

Hey Everyone!! Well ever since I can remember I've always biten my nails, its a really bad habit. Usually I bite them when I'm nervous about something or when im pondering a serious question. I really need to stop because my hands look like they don't have nails left on them anymore. My ? is How do I stop biting my nails and what can I do to prevent starting up again?? i used to bit my nails too. i put on a growth nail polishes and then a chelly nails polish becuase it doesnt chip off as quick. everything elese is up to you. you have to really be determined and catch yourself when you start to bit your nails. they sell nail polishes that taste bad just for nail biters and you could put a coat of that on your fingers, but what you really need is the determiniation to stop. thats what i did, and i dont bite my nails anymore.

if its like clear, thats really okay actually. the clearer it is means the more healthy you are. in all reality your pee shouldnt be yellow. you're probably drinking lots of water and that cleans out your bladder and stuff, adn makes your pee clear(er)..

I have an interview tomorrow afternoon at United Colors of Benneton. I was wondering if anyone could provide some quick guidelines for what to wear. I do not own a suit. Tips regarding hair and makeup would also be appreciated. (I am female, by the way.)
we had to do a pretend interview in school this year, and they covered everything! I hope this can be of some help to you:
-dont wear big earrings, like hoops, interviwers(?) prefer studs
-wear a nice skirt, and a nice shirt, and nice shoes. you should probably dress like you're going to church, or as if you're going to a rather fancing outing.
-make up, keep it minimal. foundation, a little blush, and mascara//eyeliner should cover it.
-dont wear too many accsessories, such as braclets and necklaces, be rather conservative

Ive had glasses since I was three and finally im getting contacts. Im going for an appointment to learn how to properly stick them in and stuff. I know they'll be able to really answer my questions but can anyone who has them tell me what it was like the first few days the had them? Some people told me it was painless, most others said they were in alot of pain & that it burned. I just wanna know so I can be prepared for whatever feeling I get. thanks, I'll rate.

contacts dont hurt at all, unless you dont wash them off with the cleanser and there is dust or dirt or something on the lens. promise, the dont hurt.
i got acnefree just last night and i was just wondering if it is anygood.. is it as good as proactive? and also, i just get acne on my forehead so can i just wash my whole face, then just tone my forehead and put lotion there ? or do i have to do the whole face?
I dont know if it works because I've never tried it, but I would think you should wash your whole face with and also put the toner and lotion over your entire face to get the effect all over

play classical music low, and lay down. breathe in and hold for 5 seconds, breathe out for 4 seconds. do this for about 5 minutes, it calms you down and makes you sleepy

okay well here it goes. Im 5'3 and i weight about 190(i know im fat) but i wanna go down to about 140. I want to loose it by Christmas. Does any one know any tips on how i can loose the weight and some exercises that will help along the way? please let me know im really want to loose weight.
you could certainly do it, as long as you are dedicated and stick to working out. you should run a mile in the morning, or in the evening. after a while when you're not AS out of breath and you are more comfortable increase the distance to 1 and 1/2 miles or 2 miles, and slowly work your way up. running is really good to stay in shape. cut the portions of food you eat in half. go to a gym, and see if there is anyone that works there that could lead you to the right stuff that would help you lose weight. places like gyms usually have a bullitein board with classes on them, sign up for as many as you are intrested in and are willing to do. have your family help you, have your mom make meals that are healthy for everyone! if you feel like slacking off one day realize that you're going to have have to work 10x as hard to make up for it the next day. give yourself a break on sunday.

ok, i want to get into really good shape for the upcoming school year because i plan on working out hard over the course of the year. im trying to get my stomach to get really flat and its not working. i do sit ups every single day and i do a total of at least 4500 in a week. i stretch everyday too and i go on walks as often as possible, probably a few times a week. i swim twice or three times a week too but nothing seems to have any affect on my body. any advice? plz help! i rate high for any reasonable answer
crunches are so much better ((atleast for me)) on your stomach. do 75 crunches in the morning and again at night, everyday, and i promise it will show. run a mile in morning or in the evening. maybe you could take up a sport if there are any going on?

I am 115 lbs and 5'5'' i would like to loose 10 lbs as soon as possible without anorexia or bulimia. i hardly have anytime to go to the gym. please give me advice on how to accomplish my goal.
You should run a mile Monday-Friday. And eat breakfast, because I read on the side of the ceral box, that kids who eat breakfast actually weight less than kids who dont. Try like eating Cheerios or Special K or something like that. Also, its in many diet books so I've heard, that you should just cut the portions of food you eat in half to lose weight quicker. Try eating peanut butter, because it fools your body into thinking it is full. You can also run up your stairs ((if you have any)) for like 5 minutes because cardio really helps your body. Lift cans of food instead of going to the gym if you dont have time, do crunches, and jumping jacks and all that good stuff. staying active is going to help you out alot. good luck!

okay, my soccer team does this, and i do it on my own. do crunches instead of situps. do 15 regular crunches, then do 15 crunches where you lift your left side towards your right knee ((i hope that makes sense)), then do 15 crunches where you lift your right side towards your left knee, then stick your legs straight up in the air and do 15 crunches and lift your butt off the ground when you do them. this is one set. do 2 or 3 sets each day, and you will see results like really soon

hey i work at a elementry school for community service and i was i met one of the secretary's nephews and we hung out for a week talkin while workin and stuff well this week he has camp and after that i think hes leaving but today (mon.) his aunt said that he told her to make sure she said hi to me for him and then when no one was around she told me that her nephew was quite "taken" by me what does that mean???
