i like one of my guy best friends. were kind of fake flirting all the time (like you know just kidding around) and our friends are always teasing us, saying were going out, we like each other, etc.
Today my friend got pissed at me, and told him I really liked him (I know trust me she is so dead). Once he mentioned this to me, I desperetly tried to cover. Saying this is what they always do and stuff. Im not sure how sucessful this was, since it was only like an hour or so ago, but he was kind of acting weird to me on the computer. Before I found out about this, we were discussing who he likes. He said no one and he swore on one of my friend's lives. Because of this, Im pretty sure he doesnt like me. I want to know whether it is worth telling him how I feel, even if it means I might lose him, one of my best friends, in the process. Any advice on what to do would help. I give a lot of fives! Ok, this is a pretty unique situation, I doubt someone's been in it before, but here we go:
my friends G (a boy) and K (a girl) are friends from college, who I hang out with occasionally and we always hang out in between classes and stuff because we all have the same major. So we are not best friends, but we are pretty good friends.
well, G and K had a thing for each other... they have been very good friends for about a year and a half, and officially dated for about a week... lol although they acted like a couple the whole time they've known each other (minus the physical stuff). The reason they didn't actually date is because G (the guy) changed his mind and decided to keep the friendship. Well since then, things are a little weird between them... they still talk and hang out, but there is tension at times.
Well, this summer G is going to the beach with his family and has invited me to go with him (just as friends of course). He isn't inviting K even though he is better friends with her, because things are akward between them like I said. We are just concerned that K will be hurt or mad at me if I go to the beach with him. She knows we are just good friends, but usually when we hang out, it's all 3 of us. what do you think? Should I ask her about it and see how she feels? Or should I just not go at all? How should I ask her anyway?
G has already said she doesn't care how she reacts because they have a "messed up relationship anyway" so he said it's all up to me and how I feel about it. I'm 20/f by the way! thanks!! :) (link)

17/f... When I was 14 I dated a guy Branden for 2 years (until I was 16/ he was 17) and when we broke up it ended REALLY BADLY! (other than that the only relationships I have had have lasted for like maybe 2 weeks...)And that relationship pretty much scared me (he was my FIRST EVERYTHING!) and now I am afraid of getting hurt, by anyone. Well you have to take risks to learn and sometimes you fall hard but you just have to pick yourself up again yea the bruises will hurt and eventually go away but the cuts take a while you have to give it some time...

well you see my cousin hangs out with some pretty cute people..and there is this kid named ben..well she is like he is the hottest kid on this planet! and i was like nahhh you always say that about people! but then i saw him one time with her and i was like holy shit lol he is pretty hott! and well we saw him a couple more times after that but this weekend me my cousin my cousins other friend and this ben kid and his girlfriend :[ and this other kid named nick hungout! well i think im starting to like ben..or i dont know if its just that im really attracted to him! i feel super bad i dont know why..i dont know what to do because he has a girlfriend and she is sooo nice! i just met her this weekend and now everytime me my cousin and ben hangout his girlfriend katie is most likely gonna be there. i know im not gonna try to break them up--they have been goin out for like 5 months now i guess! i just dont know what to do..i cant make these feelings go away but i dont want to stop hanging out with him you know? its just i find it weird..i hardly ever have feelings for someone and now i doo..and he has a girlfriend. i DOUBT like that they will ever break up. i just dont know what to do i have badluck with guys..and my cousins friend was flirtin with him when we were all hangin out and his girlfriend was gettin mad (obviously) haha but yeahh! soo i have such an urge to try and get his attention but i know that wont ever happen because he has a girlfriend! i just dont know anymore..! and when i saw them kissin and like huggin i was like goddddd lol this sucks! what do you think i should do? i cant tell him or his girlfriend or my cousin--she will tell. and its kinda weird since i just met him!!

Alright so hate to bug you guys with this problem because im sure you see it alot but i help people with theres so now its my turn to get some help.
there was one guy brad who i made out with while this other guy nate was in florida. nate and i tell each other we love each other but we were nothing offical when i made out with brad. ok. so me and nate are kinda crazy bout each other. and i havent spoken to brad after i made out with him. he just never called me.
thursday night nate calls me and we talk for about 3 hours. he asks me out. i say yes. we were suppossed to hang friday and he said hed call me round 8. he never called. i call his house round 11 his mom says hes sleeping and that shed tell him i called. i never get a call back. i call his house round 2 30 and his dad says he went out. since then, ive been doing everythign in my power to get in touch with him. he blocked me online for some reason and when i finally got in touch with him im like are you mad at me? and hes like no its nothing personal ill call you later though im at the mall. yeah um so how is this not personal?

ok so heres the deal. my mom and dad divorded when i was 2 years old. he already had kids with his wife before he married my mom and so they never have liked me (my half sisters) since they were older and one has a daughter that is only 5 months younger than me so they never liked my mom either since shes 16 years younger than their dad and my dad... so they of course hate me and my dad sorta likes me well i know he loves me as his child but he never approves of how i do my hair, how i dress or anything. he doesnt like that all my friends are guys. he doesnt like anything about me... my music... or anything. hes always unhappy about something im doing. so yeah. i have TRIED SO HARD to make him like me and to make my relationship better with him but he seems to always find a way out. and hes 62 and has had a heart attach and since i dont live with him i live with my mom i dont see him alot and he keeps telling me if i dont like it out there i should just come twice a year instead of twice a month. its gotten to where i hate to go although i want to be close to him but now i just seem to cry about it everyday and i want to give up. so should i just give up on him and not really have a dad since he doesnt act like my dad as it is... or keep trying and feel the pain. im just afraid hes gonna die and ill never know what its like to have a good father daughter relationship. opinions/advice please! i rate 5's. Hey lol im so sorry..i wouldnt no what thats like but i hope you will figure things out...uhmm i would try a little longer just to see..maybe try things you never thought would work..they usually do...uhmm if that doesnt work eventually id say give a rest at least for a while i mean thats not really acting like a dad what he is doing...another option is to confront him ask him why you feel your not good enough for him its ohkay to spill your tears and let it out you might feel better maybe hell notice what hes doing wrong is SO COMPLETLY WRONG and if he doesnt and it just brings more pain when he says something else just take a deep breath and walk away and then id say just let it go thats not a dad...but when your older and married you'll get to see your husband..and you can always make sure he treats your kids right...hope i helped try to stay on the bright side!!

Your Best friend was playing her role perfectly fine..she was looking out for you.. by making sure you were..safe.. she probobally didnt want you guys to drink and drive and hurt yourselves becasue the first thing to go when you drink is common sense. Yes you shouldnt just forgive her but thank her to maybe she saved your life you never no what might've happened if there was a next time really soon. You should talk to your parents about the restraining order, maybe compromise because i dont think thats fair.

Try to understand your parents point of veiw and try to make them see yours im sure you can compromise something..and you have to give a little such as chores to get a little like going to the movies with friend!

I am over my ex, and I have fallen hard for another guy. We have been broken up for over 4 months, (we were together for almost 3 mons., and saw each other all the time at school+outside) but it doesn't feel like it has been that long ago since we have broken up. Even though I'm over him, is it normal to want to avoid watching him move on? I haven't started dating anyone yet so that may be one reason. Plus, it's not really the girl he has moved on with even though she is completely different from me. I just want to know if anyone has felt this way too, and how to deal with it. My best friend has been kind of mad at me for a while now. Not like angry pissed off and doesn't talk to me; just kind of like hurt, upset, can't talk to me. I asked him to tell me what I did and he wouldn't. He's been kind of mean to me (well I think he's being mean but I know it's just because of whatever I did) and I really couldn't stand it. I've known him almost all my life and I can't have him act this way towards me and not tell me why.
So today I went to his house and told him that I'm sure he has a good reason and whenever he wants to talk to me about it I'll be there but until then, I don't think I can be friends with him. He told me that he just couldn't talk to me about it just yet and that he understood that I don't want to be around him and that he could talk a break from me too. So after that, I left.

Well you cant just be mad at someone becasue they wont tell you there problem i mean i no you accidently did it but i would try to find out on my own and apologize..i meanyou werent going out so why would you need a break? remeber a break could be a long time maybe a permantent one dont let the door close on this he is your best friend is he not?......think about some things and ask him let him no you are truly sorry if you want him back..sometimes we cant always be right we have to accept what we did and see if the ones we extremly didnt mean to hurt forgive us

My 2 best friends [who arent even that good of friends with each other] went out last night with a few guys and this girl who are considered cool. My friend invited me to go, but I didnt want to because i wasnt exactly invited by the others. So my best friend went and asked my other friend, and they went and had a BLAST. they then had a sleepover afterwards and couldnt stop repeating how FUN it was. It got me pretty pissed, and they left a message on my fone saying that they didnt think we could be friends anymore because we get in to many fights? Well ohkay the thing is i have friends who can never be happy for me when i tell them good things, and when i dont they get pissed. they always put me down and brag about everything they do. if this sounds like your freinds i suggest you make new ones..i cant get out of my situation an di am miserable. they want to make me jelous but it doesnt really work it just makes me feel like they dont care about me..they also take advangtage of me..i would give it some time and dont talk to them maybe let them no in a type of way that your hurting becasue of what they said. find a new group of people to hang out with at least for a while you may find you like them alot better...
dont end up like me i have no real yfriends and everyone i hang out with is completely rude...and i have depression dont let this happen to you

One of my best boy mates (lets call him adam) was going out with this girl (lets call her Tia). I had known Tia for a long time before Adam met her, but she asked him out, and they were inseperable.
What I hadn't told Adam was that Tia seems to use boys a bit, as soon as someone else comes along, she dumps her current boyfriend. I couldn't just go and tell him, they were so happy together and I didn't want to spoil anything.
Recently, Tia met this other guy (lets call him sean), and dumped Adam straight away. I can't believe it, cos Adam is so sweet and kind, i suppose he can easily get walked over though.
He treated her better than any other guy did.

Maybe he is one of those guys who listen to there friends..gosh i hate that.. do you no any of his friends that you havent had a good backround with? maybe he's heard something..but im sure it will go away in time. And also just becasue he didnt want to hang out with you once doesnt mean he is neglecting you maybe he really did have to meet his friend.. maybe he is embarrased of who he is friends with and soent want you to think hes weird, maybe you need to start talking to him, start conversations with him..he could be testing you to see if you like him too...maybe you werent meant to be..the possailities are endless just keep trying a little longer and if you feel then later if you feel that way maybe its time to move on
