The best thing to do is to not smoke any more if you are and get it check quickly by a doctor before it gets any worse

Calm down.
Many women get cysts in their breasts from time to time but they may not necessarily be cancerous.
You should get it checked right away by your doctor to make sure.
Also, ask yourself if your family has had a history of breast cancer.
In the mean time, take a few deep breathes and remember to check your breasts every month for more cysts. You can find out how here --- [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Good luck.

NakedFaery answered Tuesday May 2 2006, 11:08 am:
There are a few different things it could be. Cysts and benign tumours are surprisingly common in young women, mostly because of the fluctuating levels of hormones in your body.

See a doctor asap, it's best not to leave it. Yes, being honest, there is a possibility of it being cancerous, but it's very very unlikely. A doctor will be able to tell you straight away what to do, whether to leave it, or whether you need further treatment.

Worrying is healthy, it's a part of the human self preservation instinct. Just don't let it take over your life.

I could be nothing... I wouldn't freak out, but it's always a good idea to cheak with a doctor.

I have had lumps that go away from time to time, usually before my period.

Calm down, take a deep breath, and let a doctor tell you you're 100% ok.
