My parents wont let me have a new phone for christmas. I got one about 7 months ago but it's not very good and I really want a new one. I tried negotiating with them and asking if I could have it as a joint present from them and my grandparents but they said no. I can't afford to save up for it myself and I'm only 13 so I can't work for the cash. My parents wont let me babysit. How can I persuade them to let me have the phone? Or, how can I raise the money to get it myself? (link)

Im 14 & I got my phone at 13 too. I pursuaded my dad to get me mine by proving to him that i'm responsible n that I'd do whatever it took to get my phone. But the thing is with me I pay my phone bill on my own, my parents don't pay it for me and thats one of the reasons my dad even got me the phone so I dont know.

Why is it that everytime i want to really express myself to my boyfreind he acts like he really dosent care what i think and then when i asked him how does he feel about me he said what does that have to do with anything thats going on and it has a lot to do with it. HE is the type to hurt your feelings . now he said all this stuff when he was MAD. When he is mad i do not like him. he was mad because he said i hung up the phone in his face when i didnt. so i told him what happen and he still acted the same. I cant leave him because im 15 in love and he is the best thing that ever happen to me in a long time. HE actually came and turned my life around and i dont think i can do it without him. Just tell him how you feel. If he says it dont matter tell him accetuly it does and explain everything, if he still doesnt listen, that means he doesn't really love you. If he doesn't listen to what you have to say then you can probably find someone that is willing to listen to you.

Okay im 14 and im 5 9 I am taller than alot of people in my school and I use to think it was annoying when I was like 12 but now I love it. I play basketball and its a huge huge advantage being so tall. Also all my friends are guys and I dont really think they mind accetuly we haven't brought it up because were always having a good time and we never even think about it. Its just one of those subjects that thats that you know what I mean? Don't worry your gonna love being tall!

Well don't just grab him and kiss him, but tell him how you feel for sure! You never get anywhere if you dont speak whats on your mind or what your feeling. Tell him that, and if he really likes you or likes you, you should be good! hope I helped

My parents payed for me and my brother to go to a private school. It was really expensive but thank god we got insurance so some of the money will come back to us if we deside not to go. Well my brother and i ended up going to public school where it's free, the thing is that the private school won't let us get the money back unless we go there for 15 school days. I have been arguing with my parents saying that i just started to make friends at the public school, and things are really going my way. Going to the private school for 15 days will make it really hard to go back to the public school. I really dont know what to do cause it's a lot of money we will get back, yet i am really startin to fit in at the public school.

I think you should go to the private school for 15 days. Just tell your friends at the public school what happened n tell them its like a 15 day vacation. If they are really your friends they will completely understand, and will accept you just like they do now.

okay heres my story..what should i do?
i have this best friend named Jerra..and last friday we went bowling and met these guys n hooked up with them! and then she promised me that night that me n her would go again this friday with the same group of guys..and that it would be JUST us..no one else! just me n her..and then the guys! well she went to camp for a week and came back today and called me and was like "well i met these girls at camp and they became some of my best friends and they are gonna come with us tonite bowling!" i was soo FURIOUS! i started crying and everything cause i worked so hard to earn the money so i could go bowling tonite..but now my plans are ruined! and i told her that if those girls she met where there that she would ditch me and she was like "i wouldn't ditch you completely" but here's another thing..i like this guy named charlie..and me n him were suppose to hook up tonite and makeout maybe..well guess what..she's bringing his EX girlfriend! and then she told his ex g/f that i liked him and was gonna makeout with him! some best friend huh?! well i don't know what to do! Chelsea...I think you should call your friend before you go and let her know how you feel, and if shes being mean about it to u on the phone like you think she doesnt really care while your talking to her on the phone then just tell her your not gonna go with her, and still go out, but with someone else. You know what I mean? Like you can call a different friend and go out with them, even if its not bowling, you can go to the movies or just hang out somewhere, or do something you guys both enjoy, but call Jerra first and explain everything to her. ok so there's this guy who is a friend of my family and he comes to all our parties and holidays and stuff. last year he came on vacation with us and we hit it off and became really great friends. we started dating on valentines day and he was always so sweet and affectionate and caring. we talked online every day for hours and everytime i came home from school on weekends we hung out. it was hard for us since i was away at college but he always said things would be so much better when i graduated (in may). then all of a sudden he started acting distant and we stopped talking as much. he has a really stressful job so i believed him when he said he was just really busy. but now that i'm home he like NEVER talks to me and i dont understand what happened! but when i see him he acts like normal again and every once in a while he'll call me or something. its so weird. if it was any other guy i'd be like forget him...but i know we'll be seeing each other at family stuff anyway and i dont understand why he would want to throw away our friendship and everything! does anyone have any insight as to what i should do or what this means? should i tell him he's hurting me or just wait till he comes around again? Just ask him whats going on with your relationship, and why all of a sudden things have changed. Mabye its because hes scared of commitment or something, im not to sure, but the best thing for you is to talk to him and figure out what is going on and what hes feeling. Hope I helped

okay me and my ex bf broke up about 8 months ago. we were going out for a year, there was a huggeee fall out between the 2 of us and we supposedly "cant stand eachother". atleast thats what i say to make it not look like i still have feeligns for him. whenever i see him he doesnt really talk to him, etc , but when im not around and whenever he sees one of my friends, he ALWAYS asks about me, like how i am and if i have a bf, etc. what do u think hes feeling? do u think he still has feelings for me? Yes, he does still have feelings for you, and try not being so mean to him when you see him just be casual like hi how are you, not the I dont want to talk to you ever again thing.

i'm 17 and never kissed anyone, how pathetic is that? the thing is, it's not like i'm ugly or anything because i know many people who have liked me or would've kissed me, but i don't want to make things weird between my guy friends by doing anything with them and the other guys who have liked me are not exactly top rate...another thing is that i never even tell people who i like cuz i don't want to be embarrassed...i don't know what i'm waiting for - someone who i feel comfortable with?? the perfect person who doesn't exist? i'm not the kind of person who would do things just to make myself appear cooler but as i get older it just gets more embarrassing to say i've never kissed anyone (link)

I wouldn't be embarrassed if I were you. Just because you haven't kissed anyone that doesn't mean theres anything wrong with you, it shows that your waiting for the right person to come along, and that your not going to kiss someone just to say ohh I kissed someone. Your respecting what you believe in and thats a good thing. And dont be embarrassed to tell people who you like because if you dont how do you know that the person doesn't like you?

i am 14 years old and my knees are always killing me when i do anything. i went to the doctor and he said that i was probley just goin through a gorwth spurt and my knees were just catching up or sumthing like that. but the doctor told me that in the winter...and now its summer and my knees still hurt...what do i do?

Go to your doctor again. And if he tells you its still a growth spurt tell him its not because the pain hasn't gone away and you can hardly do anything because of your knees. He should examine them a little better and find out what the problem really is. And when he said the ligaments are probably stressed it mean that ur bones in or by ur knees or w/e are probably like your overworking them.

Your only 14 the same age as me, I wouldnt recomend having a baby because what are you going to do when you go to school what if no one can stay by the baby, and how do you know if your boyfriend wants to have a baby, you have to consider everything before even TRYING to have a baby. And you and your boyfriend have only been going out for 5 months, you should wait until you at least graduate from high school and your boyfriend will be more ready if you guys are still together...I hope you guys are then you will know if you guys are ready to have a baby.

No its not strange at all. Im 14 and I have never had a boyfriend or kissed a guy, and to tell you the truth, I don't really mind it. All my friends have had boyfriends and kissed them and everything and they all know I haven't had a boyfriend or kissed a guy and they don't say anything to me they don't even care. So if your friends were true friends they won't make fun of you or stop talking to you just because you haven't had a boyfriend. Hope I helped!

Just tell your boyfriend about how your friends are going to be acting. But tell him that if they think hes ugly its not gonna matter to you or if they think hes cute its not going to matter to you because your the one going out with him and your the one that really knows him. He should understand and after you say that, he should ingore your friends like he should talk to them but not take anything they say seriously. And if they are hanging all over him he should remember what you guys talked about and he should leave and go to different part of the party.

Just tell Fred the truth. Tell him you don't want to go out with him because you still have feelings for his best friend BOB. Tell him that he is really sweet nice and cute but you just can't see yourself going out with him because of the fact that you are still inlove with Bob.

Well first of all tell your cousin how you feel about the new girl, and that your brother wasn't completely honest. And then also tell the new girl that moved into your new neighborhood that your brother wasnt telling the truth, and tell her that you feel like she is taking your cousin which is ur really good friend away from you. She should understand, and tell her that you dont hate her (if you dont) its just that your jealous/sad that you don't get to spend as much time with your cousin as you use to and that you just miss her.
