Well i am 14. i got to oltman jr. high (in mn) and i will be in 9 grade. i love cats!!!! i also love to swim, dance, horseback ride, ride bikes, well the list goes on forever! i have alot of good friends! and i love to give advice! And i dont like it when ppl are mean! why cant we all just be nice to each other!??! well if ya need help i m here for ya!

I've had a hamster before (when I was really young) and since have gotten into reptiles a lot, and have snakes and lizards and all that. So I'm pretty used to handling a lot of animals, (and, well, I wouldn't do something idiotic like holding a rodent before handling my snakes.)
I think rats are one of the most intelligent species of animals, and make great pets. I've always loved them, and I'd like to get a young rat. - I'm not sure how to take care of one, though. Are they OK in a regular cage? In a tank? Is taking care of a rat more complicated, or about the same as a hamster? If I do get one, I want it to have a full life. How long do they usually live?
I tried looking info up on these guys but everything was contradictory, depending where I got it from. Thanks for anyone who helps, and please - no comments on rats and snakes being "gross! eww!!!11oneone!!". They're really nice animals and beautiful creatures.

i know i had 2, but 1 died! they live for 2-4 years. you should just love them, and they get really big so get a bigger cage! anyway, play with them and feed them and give them treats! it should all go well for you! good luck!

Is it wrong to cry if your dog died and you've known her since you were a toddler? My friends would think it's silly, and when you think about it, it kind of is. Does anybody else think it's silly? (link)

I have a long haired domestic black cat. I also have beige carpeting throuout my home. He leaves clipms of hair all over the house and not even vacuming seems to work in pickking it up. I am sick of spending hours on my hands and knees trying to get it off of the floor. Any suggestions?

try rolling you hand on the floor, that makes it go into a big ball and you can then just pick it up! insted of it taking forever!

My cat had kittens 7 weeks ago and has just been spayed. I have kept 3 of the kittens and have been told by the vet not to let her feed the kittens as her milk has dried up.
This is prooving very difficult as she keeps calling them to be fed and they feed of her, i am concerned that her milk flow will start again.
Please can you advise me how to stop this without seperating them altogether.

umm, take a tiny wash cloth, twirl it to a tip(like the mothers niple) and dip it in milk, this will make the kittens think it is there momo, then put the mom in another room!

my cat constantly follows me and everytime i sit down she comes to sit on top of me.. i will get up andmove somewhere else but she still sits on me.. i push her away but 2 minutes later she comes up again.. i know its cute and everything but it just really annoys me sometimes.. does anyone elses cats do this.. how do you get them to stop

my cat does that exact same thing! heres what i do! i take one of his tiys and throw it! that keeps him amused for about 10 mins.(my cat is strange though, i mean he fetches!) good luck!

I have a cat that weighs 15 pounds and he's only 1 and a half years old. I'm worried about him, but my mom says it's no big deal and it's just his bone structure, but he was so tiny when he was a kitten! Do I have a valid reason to worry? (link)

my dog is a 7 month old schnauzer, and he has been throwing up! he also has really bad hip problems. my dad keeps saying he will die really early. i am crying just typing this up. i dont want my puppie to die! does anyone have any helpful tips on how to cure throwing up? my mom said she gave him peptobismol... but he just threw up in my room so i dont know what to do! please help me fast!

Right now, there is thunder and lightning outside and my dog is freaking out. He is a 2 year old Shih-tzu. I'm trying to calm him down by talking to him and cuddling him but he just keeps shaking and panting and crying. He is shaking so bad it's making this hard to type. Does anyone know of a good way to calm my dog down a bit more? I feel so bad that I can't do anything else for him. =( (link)

my neighbors dog is like that, they hate loud noses. you should go in a room with her down stares and shut the door, close the curtens and if you can turn up the music and turn on the t.v., this way she will not be able to her the thunder or see the lightning so hopefully the music and t.v. will calm her! good luck!!!!

I had just gotten a kitten for my birthday and I was wondering if there was a way I could get it to slowly stop meowing as much. It also doesn't really like being touched but I think that's because the lady that owned it had his litter outdoors. I'm trying my best to handle him and get him used to being around people but he meows every few minutes. So any ideas on how to calm him down? (link)

well i have had 4 kittens before, and mine were outdoor cats like that too! well what i did is stayed around the kitten and showed him that me and my familly were trust worthy. and the meowing is normal, he is just scared! let him sleep with you at night, but what we did was put ours in a REALLY BIG dog cage with food, water, a litter box, and a bed. then he usualy just rested the whole night! good luck with the kitten! hope you have fun with him!!!!

ok...so i've been wanting to get this puppy for SOO LONG! i'm fed up with my mom saying no and yelling at me for it. How are some ways i could get my mom to let me get this dog? I know how to take care of it because i take better care of my cousins dog than he does...but my mom doesnt let me do anything. i do everything for her. i take care of my cat, sister, i clean the house. i let her go out on weekends with her boyfriend while i have to stay home and watch my sister. i compromise with her. i do everything for her and she cant even let me get this dog! how could i get her to get it? well first of all if you have other pets that might be the reason why she said no. i have 5 pets and thats why i cant get another dog! but you should try the puppy dog face! you shouldnt yell at her or argue, that just makes her mad. you should do everything possible o show her that you r resonsible! then make sure the dog doesnt cost to much! hope i helped, and i hope you get the dog!

well last year i had my cat die, my first cat, and there is no way to really prepare for it. just spend alot of time with your dog, so when its her time to go, you loved her as much possible. and when you look back on thatday, just remeber all the good times you guys had together! that helped me alot!good luck, and i m sorry she will be passing away soon.
