ok this is how it goes my sisters boyfriend today just got her 7 month old kitten..my sis and me always wanted a cat since the last we had..Problem my dad hates them how do i convince him to let us keep it?
i rate high!

tell him how important it is to both of you and stress that it was a gift and you cant just give it back, if all else fails. cry and act really sad for a long time and dont talk to them.

Aha, I am queen of the topic of persuasion...It's how I got my pets.
Well, the best thing to do is to make an organized presentation about why you want this cat. Yes you heard me right, a presentation. Use a PowerPoint and graphs, and dress up. Collect information that proves to your parents that you did your work. As I like to say- Collect information to build a brick wall. The more information, the stronger and taller the wall is. The taller and stronger the wall is, the harder it is for your parents to knock it down!

Tell him that you guys really care about the cat and that you'll take care of it and keep your word. And if he doesn't let you keep it give it to some one who will take good care of it or to someone who lives close to you.That way you can still see it. Hope I helped
