My friend Jess and I were really close. It's the beginning of the school year, and we've grown apart. Some days, she can be a bit cold to me. Other days, she talks like we are fine. I think that just because we're not as good of friends doesn't mean we can't still talk and laugh and have fun but sometimes she acts weird. Why does she do this? Also, our other firend Abby is in some classes with Jess, and I'm afraid that Jess is trying to get Abby to "grow apart" from me to. Even though me and Abby are fine, she's a follower so I'm worried. Should I talk to Abby, and what should I say?

Aw im sorry to hear that. But thats kind of what happens with friendships, they come and they go. If you really want to know why Jess isnt as close with you then talk to her. Just ask her whats going on. And if that doesnt work, talk to Abby before she starts to grow apart from you. See if she can tell you what Jess maybe thinking. Good Luck!

My friend is going to a boarding school and I am so upset how can I feel a little better about it. She is my best friend and I am having such a hard time.

aww im sorry. im sort of experiencing the same situation except i am the one who moved away from my best friend. just remember you are still BEST friends. there are sooo many ways to keep in touch as well. for example me and my bff talk on AIM all the time. just keep talking to each other so you dont loose contact. i hope things get better!

well i would consider your friend lucky becaue i would give anything to be a little taller. im 15 and only about 5'3''. her height is perfectly normal.

Okay so i just moved to another state and left behind 6 of my best friends. I havent met any friends yet because school hasnt started so im really lonely because im used to ALWAYS being with my friends. I talk to my friends on the computer and phone and thats great but for some reason i still get really jealous and feel left out when they hang out. i mean i shouldnt fel left out cause not like they can invite me! what can i do to not feel so depressed????

wow. i am in basically the exact situation. i just moved and now have no friends here. summer is supposed to be fun but for me is mainly boring.
i cant really help much but people keep telling me to go out and meet people but its not really easy for me since i am sort of shy. i hope you get the answer your looking for!
