Moving sucks
Okay so i just moved to another state and left behind 6 of my best friends. I havent met any friends yet because school hasnt started so im really lonely because im used to ALWAYS being with my friends. I talk to my friends on the computer and phone and thats great but for some reason i still get really jealous and feel left out when they hang out. i mean i shouldnt fel left out cause not like they can invite me! what can i do to not feel so depressed????

it's not hard to meet new people if your not shy but if your a shy person then it will be hard to meet new people.. so i think that you should just walk around your neighborhood i kno that may sound boring but you just might see someone outside and if they dont say anything just introduce yourself saying hey i just moved here and just start a conversation and the person your age that you met might introduce you to their friends

hey its hard to meet new people in the middle of summer, especially when you are new. if you have any neighbors who look your age, and if you happen to see them around, start to become friends by talking about school and other stuff. if you dont have any neighbiors a great idea is to stay tight with your 6 friends from your old city until school starts in a month and then just wait until then to make new friends since it might be hard to start over in the friends department when you can't join any activities or meet people. if you need anything else just drop one in my inbox. hope i could help & good luck!!

wow. i am in basically the exact situation. i just moved and now have no friends here. summer is supposed to be fun but for me is mainly boring.
i cant really help much but people keep telling me to go out and meet people but its not really easy for me since i am sort of shy. i hope you get the answer your looking for!
