My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.

I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

Where can you buy polo shoes? I tried payless and they didn't have anything neither did walmart or shoe stop. Can you help me?

I'm not sure if you're comfortable with shopping online, but that would be your best bet at finding women's Polo. I did a quick search on Google and I saw some on Amazon as well. You can also try stores like Dillard's, Journeys, and Macy's.

Are thongs uncomfortable? Do they make your butt feel like you've got a weggie?

It's a weird experience and every girl is different. I always thought they were comfortable and never had that feeling but it also depends on the thong. G-strings are thinner and they don't give weggies lol but it might be a little weird for the first time. You get used to it though.

I'm looking for a new powder that makes my skin look really smooth. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

I have recently started using Clean by Cover Girl. It goes on extremely smooth and it keeps your skin hydrated. I love it! I also like FIT by Maybeline.

The solution to your acne problem would be to get it treated. Try Neutrogena Acne Face Wash or ask your parents to order you Proactiv.

Being popular is nothing special, but I'm assuming you are in middle school when most kids find it to be a big standard. Being popular is when you are friends with everyone and you are known for your personality, in a good way. Treat everyone nicely and you'll get the same treatment in return. Popular people are confident people.

hey guyssss.. Okay, I've always been really pale, not like freaky pale.. but not tan, at all. How can I make being white pretty? What color hair looks better with pale skin? I can't tan in the tanning bed bc of new medicine I'm on for my acne. What color eye shadow ect?.. Thanks!

I'm pale too but I embrace it :D Never wear dark make up or color your hair too black. I don't wear too much make up but I just wear a little blush or bronzer on the cheeks, mascara and a little eye liner. Go subtle with the eye shadow.

& always wear color on your lips :) I love wearing red or a pinkish tone.

The color of the dress is gorgeous and either silver or gold would look great - lucky for you :) It all depends on what you like better. To be honest, most girls will be wearing silver. It's like that at every prom almost. If I were you, I would do gold just because it's not expected. However, I would not add a necklace because the top of the dress is busy (in a good way) that it doesn't need any jewelry. I would add a few light gold bracelets, a ring & earings. Just make sure you don't go over board with jewelry lol. As for shoes, Bakers has really cute gold (or silver) sparkly shoes - especially with a high heel :) Either way, gold or silver would look great with that dress.

My honest opinion ..... hideous, especially on a woman. I think it makes the woman appear very unapproachable and unprofessional. So yeah, not attractive at all.

monday through friday i take showers evrey day. and i usually curl or straighten my hair so i need to blow dry it, so i use heat tamer. and i dont over do it. but they after i blow dry it it gets staticy. so then after i curl or straighten my hair i have to put in serum. so like today i blowed it out and straightened it and the roots looked so greasy i have no idea why! i think some of it is because of the blow dryer. cause when it air drys it doesnt feel staticy or sticky or greasy..whats the problem hear?? also i hear putting egg or olive oil on hair helps?? how do i go about doing so? thank you lots.

Your hair is lacking hydration which is why it get's staticy, and it could also depend on the weather and how dry it is. Washing your hair every day is not good because you're washing all of the natural oils. I don't blame you though. I have to wash my hair every day as well lol.

Sometimes, the products you put in your hair can make it look greasy, even though it's not. The easiest solution for staticy hair is to get a laundry drier sheet and smooth it over your hair. It works wonders and you can carry it in your purse :) Another thing you can do it spray a little bit of perfume or body spray on a hair brush and brush your hair.

I'd also recommend that you switch shampoo's. Try Tressemee - Hydration. Try not to wash your hair every day though; if you CAN.. at least for a week.

I am 13(m)and my hair is really coarse/thick and curly. Right now I straighten it every morning and its just getting to be too much work. I have no idea what do with it, any suggestions?

If you like to have longer hair, then you can get it chemically straight. However, that's not healthy - especially if you go somewhere where they do a "Brazilian" treatment. Anyway, you can always cut it. Short hair is nice also and it will be so much easier for you to manage.

i just dyed my hair recently, if i go swimming tomorrow will the red turn green or a different colour?

No, it does not depend on if you go swimming in an ocean, lake, or a swimming pool. If you dyed your hair red, it will not turn green because it's not bleach. It might rinse out a little bit, but it won't turn a different color.

If you're going to a new school, you should probably learn how to type and spell properly :) Google would be a better help though.

im about to turn 14 years old and enter into high school. i want to enter high school as a "popular" person. but it seems that only really good looking people are popular. I have big eye lashes blonde medium size hair and a flawless face and I'm a cheerleader . but im short and people dont take me serious. and I guessed by being prettier than them I would be more liked. I need tips on how to do my make up like a pretty cheerleader!

Looks have nothing to do with popularity, and you don't want to be popular for the wrong reason. When I went to high school, there were no "popular" people, but there were cliques. People who were friends with everyone, outgoing, friendly, were liked and respected by everyone. So, if you want to go to high school being popular, re-think that. The older you get, the more you will realize what is important and what isn't. You're only fourteen, so I understand why you think that way but if you're friendly with everyone, people will notice :)

What's the average cost of a CHI flat iron from a salon?

The average cost of a CHI iron is about $100-150, but some places can sell them for about $90 or so. Mine was $150 and it's definitely worth every penny. I've had it for three years and it still works just as great and you can even curl your hair so easily with it.

do you think it's better to have long hair or short hair on graduation day?:)

It depends on the style that you look best in. I have somewhat short hair, put I'm putting in extensions for graduation. Either way, it's cute if you style it right.

how can i give my hair more volume on the top? i don't like those poof things i just want the top to have volume. any shampoos or something? thanks

I have really flat hair also, and I use Tresemme volume shampoo & conditioner but I'm not sure if it really works. You can try teasing your hair, but it will still look natural if you do it good. After you straighten your hair or do whatever to it, take the top of you hair, and split it in sections. Spray hair spray and use a comb to tease it. Brush it down afterwards and you will have volume. Throughout the day you can always tease it more, but I do it every day and it's the simplest way to get volume.

I use the bump-its sometimes too, they work lol :)

I know this is probably going to be to vague for some people but for those people who are COOL and know what cool looks like, can you help me by giving me tips on making pictures cool? Poses and stuff to do with like a photo editor and stuff? All my friend's myspace pix look the same same poses same places and I want my photos on facebook and myspace to look really cool!

When you feel confident, your pictures will turn out beautiful. When you're getting ready to go out and your make up and hair is done, just take pictures of yourself. Do different facial expressions, and whatever makes you feel pretty. You can wear different things, do your hair differently and you will have a variety of pictures.

If you want to edit your pictures, but not look "fake" just to go picnik.com ; it's free and you can play around with the different things, or you can add text to it, make it black and white and they will look good :)

It depends on how short your hair is. You can tie it in a bun and put bobby pins where it falls out. When I had really short hair, I couldn't really tie it so I pinned it up & it actually looks a lot cuter and you can even wear your hair like that when you go out. You take small pieces and you twist it and put a bobby pin. You do it all over and it looks like a cute up-do.

hey this isnt a quiestion i just wanted to say you have a real prep look start wearing your hair up in a high messy pony tail and a hollister shirt skinny jeans flats and a toat bag thats your whole look!
you can get alot of exspensive brands for cheap at platos closet skinny jeans only cost 10 dollars at the least the shirt at platos are like 10-20 toats are like 10-20 i got my for 5 dollars at old navy and flat are only like 5 dollas you could so pull it off not to much make up just like cover and lip gloss.
i would suggest taking a shower everyother day no offence but you just look cleaner and spray lots of perfume on and lots of lotion you have to be outgoing complement every one example [your shoes are like sooooo totaly cute!] even if you hate them always smile get good grades never hold back what you have to say but think befor you say it yes its difficult but im not done sit propper talk propper [no slang] use words like [omg][like][so] and [totaly].
you have to be social every where so carrie your cell phone the best thing in the world for preps is chewing gum well texting well playing with there hair.
hair styles: if you where your hair down it has to be straightend your in love with a hair straitener braids with a lilttle hollywood hump is great or just a pony tail your hair should be a little passed your sholders.
your bed room should be lots of color and TOTALY pink posters every whare and you know.

No offense, but DON'T tell me how to dress, act, or who to be friends with.

For one, I don't go by "labels". I don't consider myself as a prep or anything else.

I love to wear different things & I honestly can not stand Hollister anymore. I'm not trying to be just like every other girl out there, I don't care about that.

I'm not trying to fit in or anything.

I like who I am, and I'm not changing for anyone.

Here's a little advice for you..

Be your own person and be INDEPENDENT. Stop trying so hard to fit in by wearing certain clothes and acting a certain way. That's not who you are, that's who you are trying to be.

I think that if you go short, it would look really cute on you. Shoulder length with side swept bangs would look really good on you :)

whats a more breakable straightener?
CHI or GVP?

Any straightener can easily be broken if you don't take care of it. A lot of my friends have the CHI and they've had it for a while and it never broke.
