I need a haircut, what would look flattering on me?
I have an oval shape face. My hair is thick and damaged so I'm sure inches will be coming off.

Your face shape and size would probably be best suited for medium length (chin or shoulder length) cuts. I agree that side-swept bangs look good... I do not recommend having short, one level bangs, as your face is already small. If you had larger features, it would be okay, but I think side-swept bangs would be more flattering.
I recommend getting a layered, medium length cut-- it would help frame your face, and would be a nice change. It will also still look good even when the layers grow out, since it's multi-length.

I think that if you go short, it would look really cute on you. Shoulder length with side swept bangs would look really good on you :)
