heyy well my hair is highlighted with blonde now and im a brunette. i dont have rlly dark hair but its not that light either. So. i was wondering is there a hair style like golden red highlights which a friend has that would look good on my hair?Or any suggestions that r kinda a mixture of red and blonde besides strawberry blonde. THANKS!!
Unless you want to look like a clown, don't do it. It will look horrible.
Either go with darker brown highlights or lighter brown highlights. For your hair, you want to have one overall color theme...........apparently, your color theme right now is more brown/blonde-based. You don't want to have three different colors in your hair. It looks AWFUL, trust me, my friend did that exact same thing a few months ago...
I have really thick hair. It's wavy and gets really fluffy. It's pretty short, shoulder length with layers. I need some good simple ideas to help make my hair look nice. I don straighten it sometimes, but I can't find enough time to do it. I'm sick of leaving it in a ponytail.
HELP ME PLEASEEE
The secret is a perfectly straight part not off to the side, but straight down the middle of your head. Part your hair like that, and you'll look like a million dollars.
so i need help please!! i got my hair highlighted in the summer blond some of it was like a pretty caramel and then i have some whitish strands of hair because the lady did it so light. i want to change the color of those strands but my sister said that it will dry out my hair and my hair will fall out if i do that. is that true? what can i do to take the white out of my hair? i hate it, it looks so fake :(
thanxx so much
No, it will not make your hair fall out. Just go to a drugstore and buy one of those permanent, caramel-colored Loreal hair dyes. I dye mine all the time.
I want to dye my hair lighter, with one of those like 10 dollar boxes you can find at a pharmacy. does anyone reccamend any good brands?
L'Oreal Feria is the best. It makes your hair color vibrant and shiny and soft. It even comes with a free deep conditioner that works wonders.
whats a really good makeup remover that can remove water proof mascara and lots of eyeliner? and i dont want the expensive ones and thanks!!
Cetaphil is the best. It's this gentle cleanser that removes makeup smoothly. You can get it at the drugstore for $3
i'm 15 and i want to get my belly button pierced, i;m afraid it will portray the wrong image. i don't worry about how it will affect guys, because they're MUCH less judgemental then girls, i just want to know if i'm gonna earn myself a bad name by doing this.
Not at all. I know loads of girls who get their navels pierced. I know a 13-year-old who got hers pierced. It's very common.
People will see your piercing in different ways, depending on your personality. If you act like a total slut, people will view your piercing as just adding to the slutty effect. If you're a really nice, friendly person, people won't care less.
I was really late to catch up on the trend, which is probably like a year old, that's why I begged my mom to let me buy a miniskirt. B4 the whole legings thing my mom would never let me look at a minskirt when were shopping. I ended up buying a mini + leggings and was planning to wear it on the 1st day of school. Is this a good idea or would i end up looking like the fashion disaster i can always be when i try to go for a look diffrnt than the usual [jeans + tee]? What i fear the most is what evry 1 else is gonna say. School starts in 2 wks and i cant make up my mind. The 1st day is one of the only days i get to look especially nice. The outfit i was planning to wear looks nice w/ or w/o, IMO. I have to wear the mini and leggings to school or my mom would deem me as wasting her money. This isnt the 1st time i would look at something and say "Oh,that's cute" and buy it and wear it to school, to then realize its not that cute of a shirt or whatever and never wear it again. Like last year when i bought a bright pink cropped hoodie/sweatshirt... Lets just say that color pink was definetly not my color.
Anyways, what should i do?
Definitely not a fashion disaster. The look is totally in right now. Not my style at all, but if that's what you like, go for it. However, I wouldn't really say that the mini and leggings is "different," seeing that 1 out of 5 girls I see everyday happen to be wearing it...
I start school in a couple days and I don't know what to do with my hair. My hair goes maybe an inch past my shoulders and I have layers and long bangs. Any ideas? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance
Give us a picture of your hair, and then maybe we'll be able to judge better. As is, you haven't really given us a clear idea of what your hair is like. I'll come back to this later.
ok does anyone have any cool ways to put makeup on my makeup doesn't look bad but it looks to natrual and i want it took look likt the stars if you know what i mean i want to look way different when i go back to school i want to look good someone if be some good advice please
Hun, everyday makeup isn't supposed to look like the stars. The stars wear a certain kind of makeup to highlight their features from a distance. If you did that, you would look very silly. Everyday makeup is supposed to be natural, unless it's for something big and special. And from the way you write, I'm assuming you're a teenager. Teenagers are supposed to wear natural-looking makeup. If you wore stage makeup to school, people would stare....
With makeup, less is more.
I can't give you any makeup tips because I don't know what you look like. Post your eye, hair and skin color, and I'll come back to this later.
I have $300 dollars to shop with and out of these stores, I need the best 5 for me and my budget. If it helps Im 13, black, 5'5, my chest is 36C, medium waistline, thick hips. Abercrombie & Fitch, AƩropostale,American Eagle Outfitters,Ann Taylor, Arden B., bebe, Express, Forever 21, Gap, GUESS, H&M, Limited, PacSun, Victoria's Secret,Hecht's/Macy's,JCPenney,Sears, and Xcape.
I don't think you need Victoria's Secret...that place is expensive, and seeing that you've got a large chest, you can find bras in your size anywhere. PacSun is mostly guy things, and the girl stuff they carry isn't very...girly. But if you like that, well, go ahead. But PacSun is pretty overpriced. BeBe is WAY too expensive. You can buy a shirt alone in there for $300. Ditto with Abercrombie. JCPenney and Sears usually carry tacky clothing for cheap prices, so I wouldn't recommend that, either, unless you want to get underwear.
So my Top 5 would be Forever 21, American Eagle, Gap, Guess and Macy's. They carry pretty cute clothes for good prices.
what are stilettos are theyjust high heels?
They're like high heels, only they're sleeker, the heel is very thin (hence the name) and very high.
Okay. so my hair is really straight. and when i say straight i mean straight. There is no wave or curl to it whatsoever. My question is how can i make it curly. Do perms turn out okay? i dont want it tightly curled just like loose curls. Help!! Ill rate, i promise. =]
After you get out of the shower, have someone French-braid your wet hair very tightly. Blow-dry or let it air-dry. When you undo the French braid, it will be very wavy.
Or, you can use a curling iron. Get the big one for loose curls. There will be easy instructions on the back.
I have no idea how to apply makeup, like foundation and powder or whatever...I'm 16 and I feel like its time to learn. I can do my eyes, but my face there just seems like so many steps and it confuses me! Can anyone explain for me how you do it and what you need and such on so forth?
Don't learn to wear makeup just for the sake of wearing makeup. The less makeup you wear, the more attractive and natural you will look. At 16, you don't need to wear powder and foundation unless you are performing on stage. But if you think you must learn, go to www.pharmaprix.com. There are colored tabs on the top of the page. Click on "Beauty" and you can go from there.
Hey guys, is it true that tanning makes your acne go away? or atleast makes it so you dont see pimples and stuff? Because I noticed how everyone I know who goes tanning has perfect skin, and they where like !yeah tanning hides teen-acne" can anyone tell me if this is true?
Please know what you're talking about.
Thank you.
No. Actually, the sun gives you more acne. Whenever I go out in the sun and I haven't put on any Pro-Active beforehand, I break out like crazy! My mother is a liscenced dermatologist, and she said that it's true, so trust me, I know what I'm talking about.
Those lotions and tanning beds don't, either. There's a difference between looking tan and actually being tan. See, your skin gets burned and peeling and damaged and tan when it's exposed to the ultraviolet rays of the sun. As a reaction, the melanin(the stuff that gives your skin pigment) in your skin increases, and you get tan. The tanning salons and lotions do the same thing that the sun does to your melanin, but because it's artificial, won't have exactly the same damaging effects of the sun. So you won't break out if you go to a salon, but the lotions could clog your pores and thus result in acne.
Everyone who is tan doesn't have perfect skin. I tan really well, but I certainly don't have perfect skin. It's just that the people you've seen (in real life) who are tan and have perfect skin are just the lucky ones who don't get acne. As for those gorgeous blondies in all of the bikini commmercials, the photo editors airbrush their skin so they look flawless, even when they're not.
Who told you that "tanning hides teen acne"?! Whoever it was doesn't know what the hell they're talking about. Idiots.
Hiya, does anyone know any good websites with beauty tips for teens?
www.pharmaprix.com
i would like to know the approiate age to wear make.. can anyone tell me if so how much make up. and is it true that it ages your face and it will get ruined faster then an average person would age because of make up?
I think you should be at least 12 to actually start using real make up. But if you look older than you actually are, I think it's fine to go a little younger. I know a girl who's 11 and looks 13...she wears eyeliner all the time and she went from being a very plain-looking girl to beautiful! I think that you can be as young as 10 or 11 to wear lip gloss (NOT colored). By the time you're 13, you can wear eyeliner and mascara on a usual day. As you get older, you can start wearing foundation, lipstick and lip liner (at least 16 for lipstick), but remember that with makeup, less is more. The more makeup you put on, the more you are at risk of looking like a clown.
how do you apply eyeliner (black) on the lower eyelid. like not overdoing it, but you know sexy enough. haha jk. but you know what i mean -- also what kind of eyeliner is best? thanks in advance
Pull your cheek down. There will be a flesh-colored barrier between your lower eyelash and the red part. Color in that part with the eyeliner.
My personal favorite eyeliner is Revlon. It stays on longer and glides on smoothly. Maybelline smears and falls all over your cheeks in a few hours. Don't use it.
well i was wondering what i should do with my hair! this is its color now (all the color i had before is almost faded out. my natural color is about the same just without the red tint and a little darker) does anyone have any ideas for a cut color anything? im open for anything but anything to drastic (like shaving it or dying the whole thing like white blond or green or something)
PIctures are helpful!
also if you can find something with hair longer than mine if you think that will look good because im considering growing it longer too!

I'd recommend dyng it henna red, and then put it up in a high ponytail or a messy bun. It would look great!
If you don't know what color I mean, here's a good example of the color:

i need to know what is the best hair dye to use..
thanks
L'Oreal is the simply the best.
Okay ive been having really weird dreams lately.
The one is im hanging out with a guy who i know but im not close to him or anything. Were in his car and we start kissing and his tounge falls apart in my mouth. And im pulling pieces of his tounge out of my mouth and hes pulling pieces out of his mouth. what could this mean??
Another one is that im at this guys house and ive kissed him before and we almost went out like over a year ago and he told me he likes me still but i have a boyfriend and i do not like him like that. But while im at his house i walk into another room after walking past him and his dad comes in and says something like "I know youve got a lot going on right now but yous should go back out" sounds dumb but it really bothered me.
ANother one is my parents ( but it wasnt really my parents) are getting married and they have an assistant or something. And she keeps chaseing me like trying to hurt me and when i look at her she doesnt have a face its just blurry and i cant get away from her i try escapeing through my window and she always finds me. It felt so real i woke up sweaty and scared.
Can someone tell me why my mind is going so crazy lately?
Dreams don't "mean" anything---they're just movies that your mind creates while you are asleep. Those so-called "dream dictionaries" are just a bunch of bullshit made by gypping con men who just want to get your money. Everyone gets weird dreams, and certainly everyone gets weird dreams a few nights in a row. It's perfectly normal. Unless you start getting nightmare after nightmare for weeks on end, then I wouldn't worry too much about it.
******EDIT***************
Go ahead, think what you want. But you're contradicting yourself. You just said that "those things don't help AT ALL and take what you say word for word and look at the big picture..." and suddenly you give me this bad rating saying that you love dream dictionaries. You're here for advice, and I gave you advice. Hun, stop cluttering this page with your stupid questions and get a life.
