My 7 mo. old daughter recently had her finger burnt by a waiter at a large childrens pizza chain. Nothing serious, just a small blister, but still almost 5 hours of screaming in pain. The company offered us "reasonable compensation" for her pain and asked my husband and I to come up with an amount. Neither one of us has been through this before so our question is, What amount would be considered Reasonable. Any Suggestions? (link)

Talk to your doctor or attorney. No one (especially on here) knows your daughter like you, your husband or doctor. No one knows "reasonable compensation" more than an attorney. The amount will differ from the age of the person, the extent of the injury at the time, and the extent of the permanent damage that was caused. Since you said it wasn't anything too serious, it may not be a large amount... but you won't know for sure until you talk to someone with a degree and experience.

Rain is not uncommon in the Bahamas, that's just how it is. I'm going to assume you're going to a main island like Nassau, since you didn't say. There are tons of things to do even when it's sprinkling. Pull some shorts over your swim suit and go exploring while you wait for the rain to pass- maybe you'll even find an exciting place to go for a drip when it clears up. [:

I have an Alltel Blackberry Pearl and my phone has internet with it, but I want to say that the internet came in the service package. (Which might be why it seems "free" to her).
I do know someone that has a Blackberry Pearl that does NOT have the internet on it, though, I'm not sure what kind of service you have.
Try checking the verizon website, or call a local store. They'd have the best answers.

Does Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida offer free or discounted tickets for disabled and developmentally delayed children? I want to go on vacation at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL but my little brother is mentally handicapped and we were wondering if we could get a discounted ticket for him since he is unable to ride all of the attractions and what have you.

Call! The worst thing that will happen is they'll say no. But in these economic times, I'm sure they'd accept your brother at a discount [or for free] if that means they get the rest of your family in the park.

- Draw with sidewalk chalk.

-Hotel pool hop [don't get caught!]
-Treat yourself to a special treat
-Go camping
-Go to a museum nearby
-Drive.. just to drive, not to go anywhere, and get lost on purpose [might want to make sure you bring a GPS with you]

So, apparently our phone number belonged to quite a few people before we received it. We got this number three years ago and we still get AT LEAST 5 calls a day for various other names. We tell the telemarketers to take us off the list and they still call. For example, we opened an account at the local movie rental store and there is a list of six other people with this number! this has been going on for 3 years and still a steady amount of calls not for us are coming in. Please help me resolve this annoying problem! (link)

Ok I want to start this by saying I only want responces from people who play the lotto and win. And please don't just tell me luck, even though luck is apart of it, I know there is more to it. Thank you.
Now, I know that the lottery can be won. My mom has won over $10,000 total at different points in her life. My question is does any one know any really good techniques and stratigies to follow. We have used the 3 wise men book, and also we have used dream work and prayer. Naturally. I would like us to be able to win more consistantly and bigger. Now I used to play a scratcher called pocket change or something, it was only like $1 to play and I would win very often, infact almost every time I played...often though I would either win back my dollar, win 2 dollars and sometimes I would win like $25 and I would use that money to buy a subway ticket in new york where I was living at the time. I don't know what I was doing to win though... My mom has written techniques that tend to work, but she doesn't know exactly when the numbers will come out...For exampl...let's say she comes up with 1111 to play in the 4 digit, Now she may figure that in the last week of the month it will come out, but she would have to play for the whole week, 2 times a day and that comes to about, $14, but let's say it's a number like 1112, then there are now there are 4 ways to play that, which means she would have to play $56 to play all 4 ways midday and evening. That is over the limit for us. So how do you figure out what day it will most likely come on and what way it will most likely come. Are there any good books or e-books to check out, any stratigies that work for you? Thank you for the advice. I've never heard of that site before, but from what you say it does not sound legit. I'd stay away from it, and trying to get revenge on your ex, if I were you. If nothing else, they could steal your identity, depending on how you pay them.

okay this is superr embarassing but sometimes when i go potty i end up clogging the toilets in my housee. idk why it doesn't happen to anyone else. but one time it overflowed, and i felt SO BAD. i always hold down the flush longer than usual and wait for all the water to drain out before i leave. i hate going to the bathroom in school and i also hate missing class, so i can't realy go to the bathroom as much as possible in school. what should i do.. ? oh and i'm not like constipated. so i don't know why my poop would be so hard that it can't get softened by the water pressure.. Much like the famous man who started bigger and better with a large red paperclip, me and my friends plan on doing something similiar. Get something random but cool and go to random people and ask them to give you something slightly bigger or better than your item in exchange for the item. In doing so, you can start with something small and end with something way better.

so a few weeks ago i went to a play with my mom and my best friend, and then on the way home my mom dropped me off at my dads house first (my parents are divorced and i was at his house that week) then she dropped my friend off. i didnt think anything of it at the time. so the next day i was talking to my friend and she was telling me all this stuff that her and my mom had talked about after i had gotten out of the car. she said that my mom asked her if she new why her and my dad had gotten divorced and my friend said no, becuase she didnt, and then she said that my mom told her that they got divorced because my dad was having an affair!! this was the first time a had heard anything about this. i am 15 right now and my parents got divorced when i was 12, and a little while after they got divorced, my dad got a girlfriend, and a little bit after they told me she was pregnant, and now, i have a new baby brother thats 9 months old. so, you do the math. i dont know what to think, should i believe what my mom told her, that he had an affair?? before i heard this, i never had the slightest thought he ever did that, its so not him. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK AND ITS CREEPING ME OUT THAT THERE IS EVEN A POSSIBILITY THAT HE WOULD DO THAT TO MY MOM. so, on to my question, if you were in my position, what would you think? anything will help!

so while i was at six flags yesterday with friends, my stupid boyfriend decides to text me to tell me that he got into a fight and asked me to come over bc i was the only one he wanted to see. when i called him he was givin me all the details of this fight and i was flippin out. well today, it turns out he was just kidding. he apologized and said she shouldn't have done that [well duh], but i wanna get him back. since im a girl i cant very well say i got into a fight, but since i was at six flags all day im tryin to think of somethin that i could say happened out there, i just dont know what. i want it to be good, something that'll make his stomach drop for a minute like mine did, but i cant think of anything. any ideas?
