GhoulOnParade answered Sunday February 15 2009, 8:59 pm: I'm not really sure about any books, but I just finished reading "13 Reasons Why" and while it didn't make me cry, it was sad.
And 1984, like the person below said.
But a movie that had me bawling at the end, along with everyone else watching it (which was like 3 other people) was Philadelphia.
Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington were in it, and it was such a sad movie. [ GhoulOnParade's advice column | Ask GhoulOnParade A Question ]

It was just the end.
It's a really good book, but the end was just so, so sad.

Books..um, the Dragonlance series is fairly sad. If you're into fantasy/fiction etc.
Oh, of Mice and Men is really sad. Just remembered that. It's a classic as well as being really sad. Bonus with lit teachers!! but that's a really depressing book.
