13/m Hey all, I've got the longest story in the world to tell, but nobody wants to hear that. Basically, over the summer I realized that I loved one of my best friends, I told her, she's not sureherself how she thinks of me. And I'm not talking about any of that crap teenage infatuation. I know infatuation. I know love. This is love. Well, last night, I dreamt about her =D The last time I dreamt about her, I dreamt that I asked her out. I asked her out the next day but to no avail. Of course, I've been thinking about her and only her for months, ever since I discovered my true feelings. It's been making me fail my classes---like for example we just got our progress reports, and normally, I'm really really smart, I'm in all the advanced courses, but I got an F in science...
Last night I dreamt about her. It was in the middle of French class, which is weird because she takes Spanish, and her ex was there, as were my parents... anyway, at random when Madame (insert her name here) was in the bathroom, she told me how she felt: "Hey, (my name), I've been thinking, and I realized that I actually do like you as more than a friend." And she smiled, and we hugged, and I danced around the room. I made an idiot of myself, but I was too happy to care! She finally loved me back!
Well, the dream ended as we were about to kiss, because I don't think you're supposed to know what that feels like until you actually experience it. Now, why am I so obsessed with this dream? I'm not very religious, and I'm not superstitious in the least. I don't even believe in luck, with drawing cards from a deck or flipping a coin---there are variable factors that affect the outcome. So why should I be asking a question to 10,000 columnists about some stupid dream? The one supernatural belief that I have is in telekinetics, telepathy, and psychics. Especially between twins (it's a proven fact) or in dreams. Dreams frequently predict the future in my experiences, and my sister's, and my friends', and everyone's. So why should this be any different?
It feels like I'm writing a persuasive essay right now... Another reason why is because last time something like this happened, it was when I e-mailed her how I felt (I'm way too shy) not knowing that she was on vacation with no internet connection. Well, about five minutes after I went outside to play basketball, I started thinking about her a LOT. When I came in, I checked my e-mail, and one of them was from that exact time as when I was thinking about her so much!
But I guess the biggest reason of all... is because I love her so much and I just really want her to love me back, and my mind will do anything to make me believe that there's hope when there actually isn't. For all you DnD fans out there, if you have the Unearthed Arcana book, flip to the part about the sanity points. Well, it feels like I just lost all my sanity points. In a nutshell, it sucks to be me. What should I do???

it could be different. not all turn out right in the future, dreams are what you WANT to happen, the rest is just pure luck.
this is hard, because you really do have a chance, she could like you, and your definitly not giving this one up! You could think of something really romantic to do- like write a poem and put it in her locker, or what my friend's boyfriend did--he called her and said he was going to someones house to sing a song, and shes like who? and hes like, look outside your window. just giving some ideas, (i know your shy so that might now work)
The thing that is kind of weird is that when you say hi she just widens her eyes for half a second to acknowledge you. I think it means she just likes you as a friend. But maybe shes just shy too, who knows!? BUT DONT GIVE UP, she's yours and keep going for her untill she says no.

okay, so im currently in a long distance relationship and i think the guy is getting bored with the whole e-mailing/calling thing. do you think it would make things better if i take 2 months to answer his latest e-mail..so he can start missing me more, and then write him a really cute e-mail? There's this guy that i have known for a pretty long time. He's three years older than me and he keeps dropping hints that he likes me but i just don't feel the same way. He was walking outside school and i was inside and he kept staring at me through the window and wouldn't stop. Then he just acted wicked shy around me. I liked him like a few weeks ago but now i don't. Then there's this other guy Kolby. He's friends witht he first guy I mentioned and Kolby is still three years older than me. I think he's so cute and I really wanna actually get to meet him and sit down and talk to him. He seems so nice and he plays soccer just like i do. I was gonna ask the first guy to introduce me to him but no w i dont think i should. It's like a love triangle. Ok so here's the question. i really like this guy.. a lot =[ i know im only 13 but i like him so much i really do. He just moved here in fifth grade, adn i liked him the first day.. hes was soo nice ! now 2-3 years later i still like him- ive been trying not to for soo long but i cant help it... we dont even talk anymore sorry this is so long =[ welll anyway he always flirts with my friends and hes like really popular and really cute he had like 5 "girlfriends" already. i never had a boyfriend. and im not that pretty, i dont think much of myself becasue i think i am kinda fat =[ i have what you call love handles and its soo embarassing.. he only likes skinny girls, im not saying im like a geek adn have no friends but i do have friends, real good ones to =] well thats a different story im trying to keep this as short as it can possibly be and sorry if i spell things wrong. i dont no what it is that makes him not even talk to me but i just wanna figure it out... sometimes hes nice but sometimes hes not i get confused. i just wnat things to go back how they used to be with us. do you have any ideas of what this could be about... =[ im soo confised and i really need to set this whole thing straight, its not wasy to talk to him when hes the most popular guy around, theres a whole other story but i think what i typed is most important.. please help!!

it doesnt matter if your 13, you can fall in love at any age. and 98% of guys want YOU to come to them. Just talk to him a lot. It doesnt really matter how many girlfriends he's have, that really doesnt show anything. Just talk to him a little bit, then when you become like almost BEST FRIENDS" ask him out .

Ok, I'm an advicenator and always hate the boy questions, because there's so many, but now I actually have one, haha. I really like this guy, Drew. Last year, he ate in my lunch and we had chorus together. We flirted a lot. Like, at lunch, we would feed each other french fries! He was a little goofy-looking, but I still liked him. He even asked me to the Snowball, but it got cancelled. Well, this year, I hardly ever see him at all. I've only seen him a couple times. And he really changed. He cut his hair, so it's short and he spikes it, and highlighted it, so it's lighter. He's also wearing preppy clothes now. What I'm trying to say is...he got really hot. I mean, I still like him, not just for his hotness, but that's a huge bonus. Well I tried asking him to Homecoming, but he already had a date. So I figured I'd just ask him to Sadies. Well his date for Homecoming asked him to Sadies already. I don't know what to do. I know they're not going out. I never felt this way about a guy, which scares me! My friend and I are thinking about asking him and my other friend Sam to the movies next Saturday. What should I do???? I like him so much!!! Oh, and I'm pretty sure he knows I like him already.

Ok I have a boyfriend and everything and I am afraid that he will want to kiss me. I don't have a problem with that. Its just my mom. next time you see your boyfriend tell him not to kiss you. explain to him why and he will probably understand. That way it will protect you. Maybe give him a virtual kiss. lol. if you do kiss, chances are that someone WILL find out and be talking to you about it in front of your mom and it just wont end up well...

even though Maria liked him, dont blame adam liking her. Maybe they were meant to be. But who knows, it could always be a short relationshsip. Sometimes when you go out with a guy you thinkn you like them, and go out with them, but a day later its totally different. he may not like being more then friends with her. youll have other crushes, if this one doesnt work out...trust me.
