My best guy friend likes me (he told me) and I like him too. The problem is he is afraid of committment. I've been waiting about 3 months for him to ask me out, and I don't think I can take it any more. Any suggestions on what to do? Should I just give up on him, and find someone else?

My bf has a real mean streak in him when it comes to gay people. Well he told me one day that every time Queer Eye For The Straight Guy came on tv he felt like throwing his boot threw the screen. He also said he wanted to hurt Boy George every time one of his songs came on the radio; and when I told him I liked Will and Grace he gave me the dirtiest look. He doesnt just put down gays either he also makes derogatory remarks about women; that we are inferior to men and that they are smarter. It's also the WAY he says these things too; with so much hate in his voice. This one time I jokingly said women were smarter then men and he yelled "prove it"! And then he pulled out a chain linked puzzle. He said if I was so smart I could figure it out under a minute. I couldnt and he yelled "SEE"! Should I break up with him?
just from what youve said, yes you need to leave him now. you shouldnt be with some one who says those types of things about your gender or about other people. thats jsut hatefull and it shouldnt be tolerated.

thats not love, thats just infatuation. If it were love 1. you wouldnt be questioning it, and 2. you wouldnt stop liking him when another guy comes into the picture.

14/f. My boyfriend of about two weeks is named Dylan. I really like him and I love being with him but the problem is my friends (both girls and boys). They ALL don't like him because of mainly two reasons. One is that he is sort of mean to them (jokingly though). And two, they say I ditch them for Dylan. I actually only ditched them once for him but still. It was so much easier when I was single to hang out with my friends and have a good time and remain part of the group. All of my friends REALLY make it seem like I have to choose between Dylan and them. And when I asked them about it, they said they didn't know what I was talking about. But their actions speak louder than their words. I know if I break up with him things will be a lot easier for me but I would still like him. I feel almost as if my friends have forgotten me because I'm with him. What do I do?

ok i know this situation, and no you shouldnt leave your bf, but you shouldnt neglect your friends, if they fel that way then try to do things with your bf and your riends together then they can maybe start to like him. do what you can to make both ahppy and let your friends know that you hvae a bf now and that you might not be there as much as they woudl like but that doesnt change anything about your friend ship, ture friends will stick by. but remember chicks before dicks. ! lol good luck

k so you ignore him and you told him that ou didnt love him although you do. and he says he does love and calls you but he's giving the mixed singals? i think either your leaving something out or its actually you givin mixed signals which probaply confuses the hell out of him,guys arent that good with that stuff. well if you like this guy generaly that means you want whats best for them, and if hes happy with his gf the you should let him be and just be friends. SO me and my boyfriend Lets call him Cody were going out for 2 months and he made a promis to me to never break up with me in the beggining of our relationship, things were perfect. and he said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and that i was everyhting to him....but that all changed 5 days ago when he broke up with me......and i am heart broken and i just lost the love of my life. and did i mention he said we could be friends with benifits and he still wants to be bestn friends and hang out and go to movies together and yesterday after track practice we were hanging out waiting for our rides and he kissed me 3 times and he is all over me, he hugs me way more than he ever did when we were going out, but then i ask him if he still lvoes me and he tells me no,and he said he would give me anotehr chance near the summr and that i could count on us going back out and yesterday we had a track meet and i was crying the whole time, and he saw me crying and he just kept looking at me like i was some stranger in his world and he never came and said anyhthing to me like its gonna be alright or nothin like that, and after the track meet i asked him why he kept looking at me and he said because i wanted to know why u were crying and i was like well looking at me is not going to do you any good, you could of came and talked to me if u wanted to know, and he huged anoehr girl and i saw and i am really sad/hurt/heartbroken....i just dont know what to do? please help me figure it out.....and by the sounds of it, is he playing games? does he want me back? does he want me back but is scared to?

maybe he just wants to be single and be able to do what he wants with any girl. Thats the joy of friends with bennifts. And if thats not something you want you shouldnt be letting him kiss you your hurt and hes being a bit of a tease. move on be firneds but i would keep the bennifts out.
