Hello, just wondering how I should go about telling a girl how I feel about her. I am semi-overweight and not really that confident yet. I just want to give it a shot anyway whether it ever happens or not. I have known her for a while so it's not just some random pretty girl that I've never talked to.
I was think about sending roses and etc. with a secret admirer message...would a girl like that? Just looking for some advice on how to handle this..

Just call her and ask her if yall can have lunch together someday because you need to talk to her about something really important.
when you get face to face at your meet... tell her that he's always been a great friend and thank her for meeting you. tell her that you're atracted to her and you would like to take her out on a date sometime.
orphans answered Tuesday May 30 2006, 9:54 am: well, like the first answer said, roses ARE god. but the admirer message isnt right. she could go guessing for some other guy not thinking "was it him [as in you]" she may go guessing "hey its bob!"
when your ready for the stage to tell her straight forward that youy like her, then go tell her.
what not to do is tell her on aim or aol. she will think its a prank.
just try to tell her straight forward. heres an example how:
Put a note in her locker:
Hey [her name],
Its me [your name] meet me in the cafiteria i gotta tell you something IMPORTANT.

Do things you both enjoy...see a funny movie, be silly etc...IN my opinion laughing with a guy is the biggest turn on...Roses may seem cheesy and put her on the spot....Sure, you will get the message across, but you may just put her in a awkward position...
Eustachius answered Tuesday May 30 2006, 3:36 am: Girls appreciate honesty. If you're straightforward with her, and you don't try to be overly-clever, she'll probably like it. But if you're still not very confident about telling her, then wait a little bit. You want it to come off not as just a random thing, but as something that's been on your mind a while and something that you've really thought over. In the mean time, try to show her with your actions that you like her. Spend time with her, let her know that you're thinking of her, go out of your way to say hello or do something nice for her. When you think that you're ready to tell her, don't spring it on her suddenly, start a conversation with her about a related topic and tell her during the conversation. Give her time to take it in and don't pressure her.
The only experience with "secret admirer" messages that I had was the time another guy sent one to my girlfriend. >.< I don't know about that... Maybe you should try something like taking her somewhere or sharing things that you enjoy with her. Actions speak louder than words!
