I am female and 15 years old. I am a very serious dancer and am also a little upset about my body. I know dancers are supposed to be really skinny and i am not. I weigh 119 pounds and want to be 100 or less. I want to kind of become anorexic because it will help me loose weight and i think i will be much happier. I know that becoming anorexic can be dangerous but this is for my career. Do you think that this is a really bad idea?

No, I know it's a bad thing. Being anorexic is basically eating so little that your malnourished. This means the energy you need to I don't know dance won't be there anymore; youll be starving your muscles of the things they need as well as every part of your body. Children your age that become anorexic don't develop normally because your still growing and your body's still changing, so if you want to look like a 15 year old when your 20 that's what your setting yourself up for. Athletes that become anorexic are going to end up in the hospital real quick.
My advice is to not be so lazy; I don't blame you for not being able to see the right choice for you but I can blame you for being lazy, if you weren't maybe you would have found it on your own.
You care about your career right? Well Dont put your health at risk; lose weight the healthy way,go run, eat healthier, and workout. Being anorexic is for people that take the easy way out; people that probably wouldn't work hard enough to become great at anything (including dancing)

firstly, I am 15/f.
I get alot of headaches. This is probably because I have to wear glasses, and when I forget to put them on or take them off for a sec my head starts to hurt. It could also be because I hit my head a couple weeks ago and it has been hurting sinse then (but thats kinda unlikely).

But it could also be because I have been feeling sad lately and its been making me feel physically down as well (this could be it, I'm not sure)

But either way I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or techniques to make head aches go away. I am away from school today because my head is killing me and I don't like missing school so any suggestions would really help.

PS. I know some of u will say to talk about what is making me sad so that my pains will go away, but I am doing that already x]
and all I really need to know is remedies or techniques to make head pains and eye pains go away.

Whens the last time you had your eyes checked? Your suppose to get a eye exam every year to see if your eye site has changed. If its changed significantly then this could be whats causing your headaches. If its not that then its probably just stress or the times you hit your head. Just take Tylenol, Motrin, or Advil when you get your headaches. They should go away soon. If you've had this headache for a week continually go see a doctor, you could have hurt your head worse then you think

Latly ive been suffering from alot of body issues. The first thing you will probably tell me is to tell my parents, well I live with my mom and she doesnt care at all, she will just call me a hypocondriac and tell me im faking it. Trust me I would fake a illness that was severly hurting me.Ive never missed a day of school and I always go to school when im sick. Even when everything is plugged up and you cant here people talking to you.

So latly the issue is whenever I sit down or get up from relaxing, the minute I get up I have the worst headache and I want to pass out. My rib cage has been hurting like other. My knee always snaps not crack, snaps and its hurts so bad I dont want to move my knee. Right now im having trouble breathing like my air passage isnt wide. My back is also hurting to, like deep pressure points. Im really young, and fairly active, not over doing it and not under doing it. I have tried pleunty of sleep and fluids. I dont know what to do. I can take medicine cause we have nothing. Litterally nothing, or my mom keeps it all with her. Im at a loss here, I feel like im going to loss my life over a diesease I may be suffering from all because my mom doesnt care. What can I do?


Ill rate for anything. I just need help what can I do.

Well if your mom doesn't listen to you i think next time you go to school you should go to the nurse. If something is wrong with you which it sounds like there is she will tell your mom to take you to see a doctor. Good luck getting better

ive been sleeping all day since i have a really bad headache and its like 4 days in a row i take medicine and it will gone for a while but it wont go away my friend said this is because i drank coffee a lot last week it was hot chocolate+coffee creamer+ little bit of coffee like 2-3 cups a day
and i stopped drinking them since its gone and yeah and at night i get REALLY sweaty and i dont know what this is im sick or what? cause everytime i get up my back of my head hurts does anyone know what this is??

Ya its because you are sleeping to much. When you get a headache on the back of your head without getting hit there then its because you have been sleeping to much. Sleep normally and keep taking whatever your taking for headaches. As for being sweaty at night i don't think your sick it happened to me a couple of times in a row then it stopped. I had just got back from a trip and was stressed out. Best of luck

For the past month, I've been having problems with the right side of my lower back, my right hip and right leg. They hurt if I don't sit a certain way and it hurts to bend over. That's not really my main concern though because that happens to me on and off...usually just my back though.

My main concern is that every time I stand up, my right leg (from my thigh down to the tips of my toes) feels like it has a very painful heartbeat in it. It only lasts for a few seconds before subsiding. This happens every time I stand up after sitting down. Sometimes if I stand too long, it happens then too.

I can't seem to find anything about this on WebMD or any other site so I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me with this. I have a history of having blood clots, if that helps any.

I haven't had this problem or heard of this before i think you should just visit a doctor they always have the answers. Best of luck
