For the past month, I've been having problems with the right side of my lower back, my right hip and right leg. They hurt if I don't sit a certain way and it hurts to bend over. That's not really my main concern though because that happens to me on and off...usually just my back though.
My main concern is that every time I stand up, my right leg (from my thigh down to the tips of my toes) feels like it has a very painful heartbeat in it. It only lasts for a few seconds before subsiding. This happens every time I stand up after sitting down. Sometimes if I stand too long, it happens then too.
I can't seem to find anything about this on WebMD or any other site so I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me with this. I have a history of having blood clots, if that helps any.
Thanks in advance.

FresnoJuice answered Saturday March 15 2008, 11:50 am: Definitely, you need to see a doctor to have it diagnosed. It could be a sciatic nerve (sciatica). If so you will probably be given a drug to take probably forever. I know someone that had sciatica for 18 years and was given Vioxx and another drug I forgot the name of. Vioxx is now off the market due to killing too many people. He started drinking MonaVie 2 years ago and within a month it was gone. He stopped drinking it and within a week it came back and he has never been off MonaVie since. He has been a walking billboard for MonaVie and is now making $1 Million a year off the business side of this blend of 19 fruits. I have been drinking it for 5 weeks and have improved energy and better sleep. I have even stopped drinking coffee and sodas and have lost 4 pounds without changing anything else.

Psycotheis answered Sunday January 13 2008, 4:51 pm: Try taking ibuprofen and massaging the area that hurts every now and again. Seeing a doctor is the best idea but sometimes they can give the dumbest answer to you or make it really complex(unless you get a really nice doctor XD)
To me, sounds like a clot in the leg has formed or something(I dont really know, Im not medically associated with anything) So try the above and hope that it helps.
I would suggest stretching a few times a day which would help too. [ Psycotheis's advice column | Ask Psycotheis A Question ]
