advice
Ok so I'm finally in 11th grade so I get to go to the junior/senior prom :) I'm super excited, I already have a date (my boyfriend of over a year) and a dress (it's short so I won't trip on it because I am accident prone lol and it's dark blue so I don't have to worry so much about spilling stuff on it) and all of my friends and I are going to go out to eat before prom and then after it we're going to go hang out somewhere. I've never been to prom, so I don't really know how it goes. I know it's different for every school, but does anyone have any advice so I can make it the perfect prom night? Any thing I need to have that might be easy to overlook? Also, if anyone has any experiences they'd like to share, I'd be happy to hear it :) Thank you!
Prom was one of the best nights of my life. I think it's a milestone for every teenager, and I think that everybody remembers their prom.
My best advice? Make sure you have everything properly planned. My group and I planned everything a few weeks ahead of time to make sure that if something went wrong, we had time to fix it. We also had a back up plan for everything. Another tip is to make sure everybody in your group is in the know. Let everybody know where you're taking pictures, where you're going afterwards, what you're doing the next day if anything, and how much everything will cost.
Another tip, like I said above, is to plan everything in advance! Nails, hair, the corsages, the limo, restaurant reservations, etc.
Other than that, just live it up! Dance, take a TON of pictures, and just have a good time.
I hope you have a blast!
