Disconnected's advice column

well so i met this guy and i just moved to a new place and im going to a new high school and everything. im gonna be a sophmore. i used to live here so i still have some friends from when i was younger. anyway my friend introduced me to this guy and a few of us went to the movies and he kissed me. now since we barely knew each other we are getting to kno each other and stuff. the problem is i dont think i actually like HIM i just like the guy attention. a few months ago my bf and i broke up and now ive moved on but now that im single i really want guy attention. the guy acts like he likes me and we do flirt but i dont think i actually like him. i really dont think i like him i think i just like the attention. he says hes been thinking about me a lot and has even brought up us dating in the future but i dont kno what to do. if he only had a casual relationship would it be ok that i dont like him a lot? cause lots of people date people casually that they arent in serious like with. but i also dont think its a good idea to date someone before i even go to the school because i dont want people already making assumptions of me. the guy seems nice and genuine but im still not sure if he is. i have a hard time trusting guys. anyway thanks for your input!! :)

Well it's not the best idea to go out with someone if you're not sure.
I did that, and it ended badly.
I suggest hang out with him, get to know him and then make your decision.

If you try to get too much guy attention, some guys will think you're a slut, and that'll be shit.
You honestly don't want all the guys you know to think that you're a slut, cause you might get attention, but they'll be hoping to get into your pants...
