hey,
i've had a crush on my best guy friend ever since...around fourth grade we've been really tight ever since then, but ive always felt a little more for him, now for the past couple months he's been flirting a lot with me and calling me a whole lot more..his best friend asked me today would you rather be best friends or date him. his friend sent me a convo between them saying that he wanted to ask me out...i really want to say yes but would that destroy our friendship?

No one can say forsure if it will mess up your friendship. If he's a true friend, and loyal then I don't see why it would effect the relationship. You have to go with your knowlage of your guy friend. Is he the kind of guy that would act different if he knew you liked him ?


His friend sent you the convo saying he wanted to go out. Unless that friend is full of bull, I think you should tell him yes. You want to and according to his friend, so does he. It seems like he might have a crush on you, from what you discribed, but the fact that I don't know him or you, I couldn't be wrong =/. If you loose his friendship because of something like this, then (no offense) he wasn't a very true friend. I say take the risk.. it could be worth it in the end =]
