If you want to do a mass transfer of just all of your music on the iPod to your computer, then do the following:
Enable your folder options to view hidden files. Once your iPod is plugged in, open the hard drive of it on your computer, and open the transparent folder that says music. Depending on what iPod you have, there will be 50 folders or less, each containing songs or videos. Copy and paste that into a folder onto your computer...not the folders, but the actual songs in the folders - so yes you have to open all of them and copy and paste.
If you are looking for specific songs, then you might want to use a program for that. Go to www.downloads.com and search for the program 'copypod' and download that. It works pretty well, and good if you want to transfer only specific songs. Hope that helped and good luck.

Thanks A lot. I tried to transfer songs from an Ipod to another by copying pasting all those hidden foldiers but it did not work out.
Copypod only transfers music and not video. I will now look if I can transfer video from hidden files
Thanks a lot anyways

Feel free to ask me any questions or for an alternate way of contacting me through my inbox.
I really like giving advice, so thats why I have a column here. I've been inactive for a long time, but I'm back and will do my best to catch up. Advicenators is a great site and it is what we make it. Having my own advice column helped me learn a lot of new things, even about myself, while giving me the chance to help others along the way. Thanks.
