is joining a gym extremely expensive? i've been asking my parents if i could join it for a year or two now. i know for a fact that i'm not going to join it and waste it and not go. i'm athetic and push myself, but i can't seem to convice them to actually take me to join. i think it has to do with the price. i'm thinking about joining either by myself or getting my mom to join with me. i'm thinking about worlds gym, if that's a chain and anybody else is a member too- but how expensive are gym memberships usually around?
Depends on the gym and location. My membership for a year is $456 at the main gym i workout in but I train for free in the gym where I am a trainer.
World's is going to cost you a bit and be prepared for not just paying your membership fee; but the initiation fee as well if you're a first time member. If you ask me- that is an investment that will pay both you and your mother back more than you can imagine if you stick to it and really make something out of the situation. It's an investment in your health and wellness. Exercising with someone is so much better- particularly when you're just starting and you feed off each other's energy and enthusiasm. I lift alone, but I for example always take walks with my mother on nice nights after dinner and it creates a stronger bond because you're improving your life together. Understand that above anything else- it's an investment in bettering your and anyone who gets involved with yous life.
It's all on you to push yourself and make it all happen.
