Okay so theres this really bad rumor going around about me that is not true at all!! And i dont know how it started or who thought of it. Why do people do this if they dont like someone and why waste your time? Any ideas.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean..I've been one of those people to gossip about it but I've never actually spread one...I think people make up rumors so they can feel superior..It takes the spotlight off them and brings it to someone else..maybe it's because they don't want others to see their flaws but other people's flaws...even if it isn't true..Just ignore and set things straight..if people ask you..tell them it's not true..It's not like they can argue against it..I mean, where's the proof? If it's not true..they will have nothing to back themselves up..if you find the person who spread the rumor.confront them..ask them why they said such a horrible lie..maybe you'll learn something about them you never knew..this part of life is just a process all of us have to go through to learn who our real friends are.
