Okay so theres this really bad rumor going around about me that is not true at all!! And i dont know how it started or who thought of it. Why do people do this if they dont like someone and why waste your time? Any ideas.

ok Now people start rumors and you ask for advice and people say just ignore it dont you hate that? Its almost impossible to ignore it and no one really ever can because inside it hurts them. Just tell anyone who asks or says it just tell them its not true so stop telling everyone. Know what I hate? when its true when its true and you dont want anyone to know just tell people that its not true. I hope I helped

most of the time, it is just simply revenge!, have you done anything to anyone that would have made them upset with you? or another thing is that if you told someone a secret, they could have told it, and each person that heard it turned it into a rumor, that happens,people misunderstand things then twist it to make it worse, hope i could help, ^_^

well just egnore them the only reason they do this type of stuff is cos they are trying to get popular with their other gender! i mean they are obviously unhappy inside or they arent happy at home just tell them your side of da story but da flame will soon blow out, they always do.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean..I've been one of those people to gossip about it but I've never actually spread one...I think people make up rumors so they can feel superior..It takes the spotlight off them and brings it to someone else..maybe it's because they don't want others to see their flaws but other people's flaws...even if it isn't true..Just ignore and set things straight..if people ask you..tell them it's not true..It's not like they can argue against it..I mean, where's the proof? If it's not true..they will have nothing to back themselves up..if you find the person who spread the rumor.confront them..ask them why they said such a horrible lie..maybe you'll learn something about them you never knew..this part of life is just a process all of us have to go through to learn who our real friends are. people are self centered. either theyre just jealous of you and want to make you look bad. or they want to make shit up about you, to make themselves look better, or to feel better about themselves. thats what i think. brush it off though. people like that dont get anywhere in life. also, who wants to be friends with someone who doesnt only want the best for everyone else? if you cant make other people happy in the world then you have no purpous. the person who made up this rumor will be very unhapyy when his or her friends snap into reality and realize that person is a fake. so i hope things get better for you, just brush it off and let it go.

I think about that all the time. There have been plenty of rumors that have gone around my school about me before. Once they get back to me..it sounds completely rediculous..like somebody i dont even know will approach me and be like "so you had sex with blah blah blah" and i just laugh because its soo pathetic the things people say about other people..just shrug it off..because in about a week or two it will be old news and nobody will give a shit anymore..
