Hi I'm Dee. I'm 23 and married. I've worked in health care as well as office settings but am now a home-maker. When I try to use task manager on windows xp by pressing ctrl+alt+del, a little gray box pops up and says "Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator." But I'm the only one that uses my computer and I never did anything to disable it. I did a search on how to fix this and followed everything step by step, but it didn't work. Has anyone else ever had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?

First I would try running a virus scan as well as spyware scan. A virus can lock you out of your own computer. Repair any infected files then reboot your computer.
