Don't worry about boys so much. And if you're desperate, don't go looking for guys... desperately- you find the worst kinds that way. HOWEVER, if you do find a really great guy who you like for who he is and not just because you want a boyfriend, then date him. Who really cares about what your friends and his friends think? I need help QUICK!! Im getting my braces tightened for the first time tomorrow and I know to expect pain but how much? And do they hurt WHILE he's tightening them or AFTER hes done? Should I take advil first? Will i be able to eat/chew food afterwards? How long does it take for him to tighten them? Thanks ill rate high!! (link)

Getting your braces tightened won't hurt as bad as you seem to think it will. It isn't supposed to hurt that badly when the orthodontist tightens them if he does it right. It's mostely after the tightening is done and your teeth start to shift that it REALLY hurts. You may consider only eating soup, icecream and other soft foods.

okay, i would REALLY like to shed a few pounds and get a nice flat stomach for spring break. I always tell myself that im gonna eat less & drink more water, but i never do, and i get a guilty conscience because i cant ever follow through with my goals. What are some tips that could really inspire me to want to be skinny & loose weight..everytime i start working out it only goes on for about a week..and then i`ll skip a day and say 'well i`ll do it tomorrow, i`m busy tonight" and then never do it the next day, and it just keeps going on and on til i forget about it. im really desperate, anything will help (link)

I used to wear a really weird rainbow colored bracelet to remind myself about not watching what I ate. It was so brightly colored and conspicuous that I had to look at it every time I took a bite of food and then I'd always remember "oh! I'm not supposed to have dessert anymore!" It may seem a little retarded, but it worked for me.

I think that he's probably bisexual and is a bit confused about what he really wants in a relationship right now. It's not because you're too popular. He probably just needed to find a not-so-harsh way of ending your relationship. But just in case- try taking him to the side and asking him about it.

I use Max Factor. It's a liquid one, and it's waterproof. Normally it stays on for up to a week if I don't scrub it off.

I'd get him duct tape and chocolate. Duct tape because all boys seem one way or another to use it all up. They have a weird duct tape fetish or something. Chocolate because everyone loves chocolate! (and if he's one of the few who actually don't like chocolate, then get him some other candy like a bag of lollipops)
One piece of advice:
At about the 4 months, most relationships get really rocky and you guys will most likely have a few fights; however! if you two can get out of the grumpy "I hate you- I love you" phase, you'll probably be together for a long time. Oh yeah, and if you ever run out of ideas for other presents, just make him something like a scarf!

Okay im 15 .. and i like these two guys .. tha first one lets call him Joe ..okay well he goes to my school .. and hes a junior(im a freshman) well our lockers are right next to each other so thas sorta how we met but then we started talking,talking bc i became "close friends" with his friend (lets call him) Steve .. well me ans Steve just have sorta drifted away .. but me and Joe still talk alot !! n we talk online n everyday at school .. and i like him alot .. hes 17 .. soo hott and is soo sweet to me!! we just sorta click i guess.. hes so awesome .. and then tha other guy lets call him Bob .. well i met him about a month and a half ago from my two bff's ..Well we have all hung out together a few times and me and Bob talk online all tha time n see each other about every weekand(hes a freshman too but goes to another school) .. so every weekand me and my friends go to these local concert things .. its just basically a whole bunc of local punk/emo bands and they play .. its really awesome .. well me n my friends have been goin every sat. night for tha past month .. well this comming up saturday .. i invited Joe and Bob .. and they are both sorta thinking like im guna be there n we can get close or flirt or hook up or w/e .. which we prolly will ... but i dont want like Bob to think like we are guna make out or anyhthing bc then Joe is guna be there and vice versa .. i dont want to hurt either of them .. Me and Bob talk ALOT and we both like each other and know it.. but me n Joe .. well i like him ALOT and i think he knows it but im not sure how he feels about me .. I really like both of them .. Bob has a great personality and is SOOO sweet .. There are so many things i love about him .. but then Joe hes so hott ..and nice and sweet..n i like alotta things about him too .. and i told my mom that i liked both of them but she keeps insiting that i should forget about Bob and just keep persuing Joe !! but i think she thinks that bc hes older and his family is way rich ... so im not sure what i should do about this upcomming weekand .. Really, if I were in your situation I would go with the cute freshman "Bob". Your friend "Joe" has most likely gone through a lot of highschool drama in the past 3 years, and might try and take advantage of your... unexperienced-ness (ok that's not a word but bear with me here) Anyways, I'm just saying that if you two hook up, he might not be in the relationship with you for the reasons you'd like him to be.
I'd try to go steady for a while and let Bob or Joe make the first move.

Don't start liking guys if your main link of communication is AIM. If you really want to make him like you, talk to him more at school in person. Then he'll get to know the REAL you, not just the words you type on your keyboard.

My advice is that you should start wearing tampons. Personally, I don't really like tampons but I like them a lot more than pads when I play sports. Ask you mom if you can get a box of tampons because it feels "like a diaper" when you wear pads. She'll most likely understand.

Hey, I REAALLLLYYYY need help! I'm 15/f and I've had the summer to decide between School activities OR dance company. I'm been doing jazz dance since I was 5. I did track last year and I loved it also. I really cant decide, and i have to figure it out QUICK because I have to sign up for something... these are the good and bad things I can think of for both of them:
DANCE: ive been doing it so long, I love it, performing company is AMAZING, they get to travel for competitions, it would take A LOT of dedication since i'm behind, theres no real garuntee I would get in (but theres a good chance), I would have to be dancing a minimum of 6 hours a week, even when I wanna quit id hafta put on a smile and deal
SCHOOL ACTIVITIES: i'd be doing track waterpolo eco club and dragon boat, id be getting really involved in school, lots of pics in yearbook, more chances for friends, ive never done waterpolo eco club OR dragon boat before so theres no garuntee i'd like it, i dont like my feet, I might not be good since I dont have any experience, when I did track I made a lot more friendships
I cant do both because there isnt enough time. My school also doesnt have a real dance team, it's like a drill type team and Im not into that.
PLEASE HELP ME! TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK I SHOULD DO! IF YOU HAVE ANY IMPUT ON POSITIVE AND NEGITIVE ASPECTS OF ONE THEN SAY IT!! I NEED HELP

I would stick with dance because there's no guarantee that you'll have more fun doing your school activities. But also because if you do something for a really long time like dance, it looks better on your college application.

Well, one of my friends asked me to go to a party with him tonight or we could go to the mall another night. I'm not sure I should because I think my boyfriend would be mad! What should I do? You should stop going out with him. If this guy is really getting on your nerves relationship-wise then you should end it. Even if he says that he'd die if you broke up with him, he'll move on. They all do. Go do your own thing and make sure that you're happy in highschool.

I think that they're more healthy than normal hot pockets, but I don't think that you could lose a lot of weight by just eating Lean Pockets. Your friend might actually be bulimic or something. Maybe she's been working out or eating less.

It's a little too young I think. One of my friends gave her bf head when she was 14 and now she really regrets it because he told all of his friends about it and she broke up with him. You can do whatever you want because it's not illegal, but just be warned that your bf might not keep his mouth shut about his sex life and you may just regret it later.
