I'm M/13 and During the summer I met this beutiful girl with a great personality. I asked her out but she wan't allowed to date, yet I got her phone number and I've called her a couple times, but I'm not sure she feels alot of me. I realy care about her. Her name and face are constantly running through my mind. She my first thought when I wake up, the last thought before I go to sleep, and she's the only reason I wake up in the morning. I asked her out again to home coming but she said she wasn't going. We are both very social, but when we're around each other we don't talk much. Yet we talk forever over the phone. Our seats were seperated in the only class we have together!!!!! I hate my 7th period teacher!!!!!!!! I have had alot of girl trouble in my past and I'm scared she doesn't feel the same way, because over the phone she said we were just friends after someone spread a rumor about us. I've waited all my life for her, and i don't want to drive her off. I love this girl, but can I ever be her bf.... I don't know If she feels for me.

Woah, woah, woah little fella! Steady on there! It's alright to love her and so on, but think of F.R.I.E.N.D.S...Chandler and Monica were friends before they became a couple. So, my advice would be to build your friendship, find out her interests and if she's had a good weekend etc...then, if it was meant to be, a romantic relationship will be built upon! It takes time! :)

Start showing a new light of you. Just be nice to everyone, even the people who you don't necessarily like. That way, you show that you HAVE a nice side to you, even if you don't show it!

okay, well im a freshman in highschool and theres a Senior in one of my classes and when i first noticed him he was reallly fine haha and i got to know more about him and we talk a lot and stuff, he has a girlfriend from a different school but its weird a while ago he took my phone and put his number in it and i dont know i guess 'flirts' but im not sure what i should do and if he is just doing those things and not meaning them well get back to me thanks

Have you texted/rung him? Send a friendly text message asking how he is and what he is up to on the weekend and put an "x" on the end, if he puts a "x" on the end of his reply, you can comment on it. But be careful, imagine if you were his girlfriend and he was being like he is with you with another girl.

Do anything to keep your mind off it. Last thing you need is to mope about how he could do this to you etc. I know it hurts, trust me I do but you can't dwell on it. What happened, happened. You can't change the past so put on a smile and face the music. Learn a lesson so you know for next time! :)

ok this is long yall but stick with me and i'll rate high. anyway im f/17 and ive been talkin to this guy whose 18. we go to the same school and we kind of started talking about 2 weeks ago. and he seemed like the perfect guy, literally, there was nothing wrong with him. but then he started hearing rumors about me that were so untrue about how im like a slut and stuff. and i told him that he just had to believe me when i say that they are not true because theres nothing else i can say or do to prove that they are not true. and he believed me. it took a little while to get past all of it but we finally did. the thing is though, were not boyfriend and girlfriend, we've just been kind of getting to know eachother in more ways than one. but then today i hear that the whole time that we've been talking, he has a girlfriend! and i was soooo upset at first! and when i went up to him and started yelling at him he told me that it wasnt true. he said theyve been best friends for a long time and stuff but they dont think of each other like that. and i was like "so if i ask her she'll tell me no yall arnt going out?" and he said yes. and then he said youre going to have to believe me like how i believe you. so should i? do ya'll think hes telling the truth? i dont know if i should trust him and give him another chance...please help!

If you believe him, then it could lead to heart break if it turns out he lied to you. Whereas if you didn't, he could stop talking to you altogether because it could turn out he was right. So, why not look for signs of a girlfriend (i.e. less time away from you, "too busy" to talk etc..) and then, if it turns out that he lied, it won't hurt as much...

well a while ago my boy friend got shot and went into a coma for about a week. and i was talking to his friend online so she could keep me updated once and a while on how he's doing. so i kinda sliped up that i was trying to kill my self with a knife and slitting my wrists and that i was trying to over dose with sleeping pills. so she told him once he woke up... and now hes mad at me... what should i do?

Say something to him on the lines of:
"I was a mess, I didn't know where to go or who to turn to, you mean a lot to me and that was a way of coping, I thought you were going to die and I'd kill myself if it were to save your life". That way, he might not be so mad at you, only say that if you mean it.

Alright here is the story. I broke up with my boyfriend about 3 days ago because it didn`t feel right and I kinda wanted to explore with other guys. The problem is I still like my now ex alot and I dont want him to get with another girl! I Don`t know if I should go back out with him or just explore or what to do at all! Any ideas?

OK, the story goes like this. I go out with my ex-girlfriend and she says she won't ever leave me, and BANG. A week later she leaves me(she's f/17). I tried to call her...a lot for two weeks. I then decide not to contact her anymore but it's been two months and i'm still not over her. Must i contact her or must i just accept that she will never come back?

It depends...do you REALLY love/fancy her? If so, you do anything to make it work. If not, then there's plenty more fish in the sea..maybe you'll find your Nemo. I know it hurts to be dumped, don't worry, the pain fades...even if it takes a few months. Chin up and stay strong!

My guy friend and I have been friends since frosh year. We talk a lot on AIM and in person.
Recently, we've been chatting more and sometimes I get vibes that maybe he likes me more than a close friend.
Our first home football game was a few weeks ago and I got him to come to it cause another friend of ours was moving that weekend to Maryland. He came after his play practice and we hung out after the halftime show(yeah marching band!).We walked towards our homes together. Across the street from his house, we chatted for a few and then hugged. I think he might have kissed me on my forehead. When I hugged him, everything felt right in the world. Then I told him I'd wait for him to cross(cause its a main road and it was 10 at night). He said "So you'd know if I die, right?" and I said "Yeah, but I don't want you to die cause I love you." He smiled and crossed then we met up on AIM when we got home.
On days that I have my private flute lesson, sometimes I see him and he comes over and sits by me. We usually chat about random things.
We usually say hey to each other in school. Online lately we have been chatting a little bit more on the sexual side. We had a conversation about balls. He says he trusts me a lot and that I'm his close friend(he doesnt believe in best friends). We have pretty much the same personality and music tastes.
The other day, we walked to the music wing together(I have band the same period he has choir). We were chatting and we were both late by 2 minutes to class.
Usually he doesn't say anything to me when he can't chat, but now all of a sudden he says "can't talk now, going to eat dinner/do a project. sorry!"
He's also started holding the door for me and making me smile more.

any ideas. Sorry this is so long.

Wow..sounds like this guy likes you...A LOT! Keep flirting, smiling, waving and maybe that close friendship could develop into something more...if you want it to of course!

If you choose to, then yes, you would shave the whole lot. Some people shave their bikini line so hairs don't go atray. Others make them look neat. Others go the whole way and cut the lot off but that can lead to redness and itchyness. It's your choice, just make sure you know the concequences! :)

I cheated on my ex-boyfriend while we were together. I realized I did not love him, and broke it off with him after that. Well, I still loved him very much and he loved me, so one day we decided to hang out as friends. Well, one thing led to another and we ended up having sex. Well, I realized how much of a mistake that was, so I stopped seeing him or talking to him completely.

Now I found out I am pregnant. I am 19 years old and he is 20. My ex-boyfriend is a really good person and I think he'd make a very good father. If our problems weren't enough, here is the biggest issue.

He is foreign. He is staying in the country on a student visa. He will have to leave in 6 months unless we get married. I desperately don't want him to leave. Not for me, but for our future child. The flight to his country and back to visit would be 1200 dollars per trip. Everyone is pressuring us to get married so he can fulfill his fatherly duties and our child could have both parents around. We've research all possible ways he could stay, and it basically comes down to him marrying me.

What should I do? I can't see myself being with this person forever, but I can't see my child only getting to see his father once a year or so. I am seriously thinking about marrying him until he becomes a citizen, and then divorcing. Ugh, it's so frustrating, I don't even want to think about it!!!

It's all about your priorities. Would you make that stressful sacrifice for your child? I'll let you decide but it isn't easy, I'm sorry you have to go through this. I'm 14 but if you want to talk, my email is on my column! :)

I have a question for all you people who bake. When I was baking cookies, the top parts came out fine, but the bottom was just really gooey. Did i do something wrong? And if i did, can you explain what i should do right? They were chocolate chip cookies by the way.

I'm taking GCSE Food, you probably added too many chocolate chips. With cookies especially, it's vital you get the ingredients perfect, more than 2g over will ruin the recipe. Also, cook until all is golden brown and firm to the touch!

My parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas and my mind drew a complete blank. They said nothing video game related and thats all I really want besides an iPod but they are too expensive. I asked for a Montreal Canadien jersey and that was $100 dollars so now all I am getting that I asked for is boxers. Does anyone have any ideas of something not expensive that I could ask for? less than $80.00. I am also a 14 year old boy

I want to raise enough money to buy a nano iPod but many places you have to be 16 to work at. My friend told me that to work at McDonalds you can be 14(my current age) Does anyone know if this is true?

P.S-I know there food is the worst for you but I'm working there for the money.

Why not a paper round? Ring McDonalds and see if that's true. You can work in a corner shop if they don't sell alcohol/cigerettes!

My boyfriend and I've been going out for three years now. When we met (16 at the time), I told him that if he wanted to become more than a friend to me then there are certain things he needed to know. I've told him I've been clinically depressed since I was eleven years old and that I'm self destructive and he understood. Instead of disregarding me, we fell in love.. The problem is, he breaks up with me when I'm at the point where my depression becomes unhandling.. basically, at times when I need him most. However, he always ends up coming back to me. This has happened at least twice since we've been together.
I'm 19 now and I've just started college. Ever since college has begun, I've been becoming more or more sad with my life. Everythings been so stressful, living away from home, being in a new environment, the college work load.. etc. Two nights ago I told my boyfriend that lately I've been crying a lot and that my depression is getting worse. Well, last night, out of no where, he breaks up with me over the phone. Two hours later, he wants me back.
I feel as if he doesnt want to be with me because he doesnt want to deal with my depression.. Thing is, I dont burden him with anything, I just go to him to talk about what's bothering me. It's like, he can't handle it and he gives up on me.. I know he really loves me though and I would never doubt his love for me.. it's just that I don't like being thrown away and then taken back. I dont like when people take me for granted. I need advice on what to do, because I really do love him and want to be with him. But I just cant keep having this happen to me.. him breaking up with me especially over something I can't help: my depression.

Why not talk to him? Not about how you're feeling generally but how you can't cope with the messing about that he's doing to you? He needs to get his priorities right, he needs to make sure that you can talk to him about anything and he can talk to you about anything and both will never leave the other. Relationships are based on communication too...so, why not say that it hurts when he breaks up then makes up. Tell him you need him 24/7.

They probably are so surprised that they are the size they are. Also, they probably want you to prove to them that they aren't fake. Please be careful though, don't get into anything you don't want to do!!!
