I hear this all the time. Weed isn't as bad as all these people make it out to be. If you don't want to do it then fair enough, that's your choice. Don't start trying to control other people. You can tell them your feelings if you really must but don't expect them to stop just because you want them to. Look on the bright side, at least it's not crack.
Oh and Logic-Man, they would't need rehab. Weed isn't physically addictive. It's like chocolate, you want more but if you don't get any then it's not the end of the world.

Im a straight A student and I have never really cared much about my grades. It isn't hard for me to get a A at my school. I am in 6th grade and I know this isn't very serious but I'm worried. I have gotten a B+ on my test in math...yeah I know no big deal...and I know it isn't. I just took it as a sign to pay attention in class, which I do. I recently got a A+ on my math test so everything is fine in math. I'm not worried about any of my other classes except language arts. For the past two quarters its been a easy A. I got a B or a B+ on one of my tests and I was like alright, that was just a mistake I made and I'll be sure to pay more attention. Well we did these powerpoint presentations on the book 'The Cay' and I got a C on it. I was at a 92% and I'm not sure how far this will drop my grade. I really don't want to have to get a b+ on my report card. I know I sound pretty preppy or whatever but it's not that. My dad has been having 'trouble' letting go of me lately because boys have been asking me out and my friensd are trying to get me to go to the movies with the boys and I've been buying shorter skirts...and I know he isn't exactly the happiest man in the world. I just know he would be dissappointed if I came home. The real question is , is there anything I can do to bring my grade up? (link)

Don't feel bad about a few Bs. If you really want to push your already impressive grades up a bit then try paying more attention and working harder. If you're of the opinion that you can get As without trying then you probably won't get an A.

My bf loves me so much and he says he wont make me have sex with him, but he says it all the time. Is it just me or should I feel like I'm a bad girlfriend for not haveing sex with him... I mean Hes saying I dont have to but in his mind i know hes saying 'i want sex, i mean we've been together for 3 month,.. havent you kept me waiting'. A fish wouldn't need as much care as a dog. But you can do a lot more with a dog. All you can do with a fish is wathc it swim. Personally if I was getting a pet i'd go with a cat. I know you aren't looking at a cat but one would make a good pet.

i'm a 16 yr old wo has been bullied for 9 nine years. Mostly fopr the pure reason of my apperance. I live in a family of five in a one parent family. I arn't the kind of kid to ask for everything maybe coz i no we cart afford it. At school i have at least 90 kids bullying me about my appearance and teaseing me. We i started igh school i had a group of friends but now the popular person in the group lost a bit of weight and turned into a bitch saying i could never get that size because im a size 16. Sjhe is aware i am being bullied. Now i have no friends at school cart go to half my lessons coz its so bad. I arn't jelsous of them i just no why people say be proud to be different if ppl just bully u. Ive been to the doctors about depresstion and the school nurse. A man who deals with suidal people sat in on one of out conversations but i guess i wasnt that important. I cart look ppl in the eyes anymore i have so much pain in my heart and feel so unhappy for something i cart change. I no the bullying wont stop but i just want to no why i souldf be the one feeling lonely upset and made to feel different coz i have ginger hair and dont wear adidas. (link)

Do what I did. Agree with them or ignore them and don't let it get you down. The only exception to this is when it gets physical. If that happens then the only thing you can really do is hit them back.

My husband and I are in a dissagreement about this one. I think that there are a lot of phonies out there passing themselves off as psychics, but that are actually a few that are for real. But I don't know which ones. My husband thinks all psychics are phonies, and nobody could possibly have these abilities. He is very cynical and closed-minded, in my opinion, but he thinks I am gulible. I was watching this talk show the other day with psychic Sylvia Browne, and she was picking people out of the audience and describing their dead relatives and friends, and even explaining things about them that she couldn't possibly know. I saw people nodding their heads, and looking amazed and relieved to finally know what happened to their loved ones. Are all these people paid actors? I belive it was the Montel Williams show. He seems pretty decent out of all the talk show hosts, and they seemed like just regular people. They gave her very little info to go on. If this is fake, how is it done? If anybody has had an experience with a psychic, please tell me about it. Thanks! (link)

A few people might be psychic but a lot of them are liars. I remember me and my mum were walking along the street when a psychic came along. She tried to guess what colour car my mum had. She went through all the common colours (red, blue ect). The car was yellow, she never got it right. Then she said that I'll be a famous footballer (I loath football). There might be some real psychics out there but most are just big, fat, liars.

You could use Kazaa like the last person said. The only problem is that kazaa downloads spyware (a type of program that lets advertising conpanies detect where you go on the internet and allows them to suddenly pop up adverts) onto your machine. If you can find it then get Kazaa lite. It's kazaa without the spyware. However you might have trouble finding it, the main site got shut down after the people who made the original kazaa found it.

Awhile back my friend Jill invited Jane to her birthday party. I didn't really like Jane at all but I didn't tell Jill or anything because she's allowed to like whoever she wants to. Now I am friends with Jane because we both play on club volleyball team together and it to Jill and my other friend Susie who don't like Jane at all. I have an.. well interesting sister. She is 4 years older than I am and I am nearly 18. My sister and I both live at home still. My sister acts as if her life is the most important life on the face of the earth, and she treats everyone around her like a lesser being. Sometimes I just want to physically hurt her because words just never get through to her, that is, if you can words out at all. She never lets people speak, especially when she is angry. She blames her problems on everyone else in my family, especially my mother and I'm starting to believe my sister is really breaking my moms heart to pieces. Her actions and words hurt all of my immediate family and it is so extremely peaceful and quiet when she is at work.
The thing that bothers me the most is that she always claims that her life is so much worse than everyone else's, no matter what they are enduring, she refuses to offer support, instead she will explain how much more difficult it is to be her. I can't stand being around her because she always insults me, she claims that she is just being honest when clearly - she is just being rude.
I had hoped she would be moving out soon but she enrolled in school again and so she will be staying at home for at least another 2 years. Its madness and I simply can't be around her.
When I have tried to explain how I feel and how badly she treats us she refuses to let me finish and assumes I am attacking her and she responds with attacks of her own. She always tells us how horrible it is to have a family like ours and how no one cares about her and how she wishes she could leave.
I have tried to tolerate her disgusting attitude and no one outside my family can understand my grief over this issue because my sister changes her entire self when she is around anyone other than our immediate family - she is suddenly nice. Therefore, no one else understands.
My question to advicenators is this - is there anything that I can say to my sister that will make her realize how bad she is hurting our family or do we all need to simply tough it out for the next few years until she moves out on her own?
However, even if we do tolerate her, I don't ever want to simply sever ties with my own sister - I want her to care about us and love us - I want her to be a friend to me. Not someone that hates us and supposedly makes her life horrible. (link)

You could always write her a letter. This may seem pointless as you live in the same house as her but it would be a good idea because she can't cut you off mid letter, she'll have to read the whole thing. Of course she could just bin the letter but if she did that then i'd give up if I were you.

I was the one who wrote about being out on strike. I had to pick a different category because I was afraid it would erase my question. Anyway, I got a job at a pizza restauraunt, and I like it. The people are nice, and the job seems fairly easy. The problem is, I have to take a bus there, and some of my family are worried about me. I wouldn't take one after dark, and it's only a fifteen-minute ride, so I don't know what the big deal is. They think that I should go back to the store, since the strike is being settled. I'm supposed to vote on what they settle on, but I don't see the point if I'm not going back. I was unhappy there for 6 years, and was not being promoted. I don't think that the company is going to give us a fair deal, and even though I get insurance from my husband's job, and it doesn't affect me, I still feel I don't want to work for such an unethical company. My sister understands, and says I don't have to go back. I will apply at a drug store as soon as it's finished being built that is close to my home. This job is only temporary, and I really like it. I think I should stick with it. What do you think? (link)

I remember when I was in year 6 and i was being told about the big bad world of secondary school. People made it sound like the teachers executed naughty people and that you should worry about the big boys. Well that's all a load of nonsense. People in school get picked on, it happens to all of us. It's usually verbal or something that you can laugh about and move on. It only gets serious when you try and pick on older, bigger people. You see, when I was in school, the little kids had just spent all of last year being the big boys, the ones that do the pushing and the picking. Now that they're in secondary school they're at the bottom of the pile. Some people take some time to get used to this idea, and these are the ones who get beaten up (i've never heard of people being flushed but I can just see it happening). As long as your son dosen't try picking on older and bigger kids then there shouldn't be any problems.

I'm playing the PlayStation2 Game called Kingdom Hearts. Ok, this is for the people who have/are playing(ed) it. OK. Right now I'm in Neverland for the second time...and I'm almost done with the game. So Sora found Tink and was like, "I can't understand her" so peter pan talked to her and she said that somethings at the Clock Tower. So Sora went to the Clock Tower and there was a Headless Shadow (not sure what it's called) and so I had to attack it. And it gave Peter Pan, i think 10 seconds and then he died, and then Goofy had 10 seconds and then I had 10 seconds and died.
Then I noticed there was this ball under him and i tried hitting it and put fire and blizzard and thunder and all these spells on him and it still didn't work and i died. Then the next time i tried i pressed R1 which is the Lock On thing and it locked to the clock. And I tried putting spells on that and hitting it and it didn't work. HOW CAN I BEAT THAT HEADLESS DUDE AND THE CLOCK? IS THERE SOMETHING THAT I'M MISSING? HELP! Also if you have NE other advice about Kingdom Hearts feel free to tell me. But I REALLY want you to help me on that Headless Dude and the Clock!

Before I start I'll make sure that you know YOU DON'T HAVE TO BEAT THIS GUY TO FINISH THE GAME. It might be a good idea to go through the final area first, that way you'll be on a higher level and stand a better chance of winning.
I remember this guy, when I got there I had a similar problem. Ok first of all 30 seconds isn't long enough to beat him so you'll need to stop that counter. Have you noticed that as your character's time counts down so does the clock. Well if you cast a stop spell on the clock you'll freeze the counter. Stop spells wear off so you'll have to keep re casting your stop spell to make sure the counter stays stopped. Now for your attacks. That little ball underneath the phantom changes colour. This tells you how to hit him. If the ball's red cast a fire spell, if it's blue cast an ice spell, if it's yellow cast a thunder spell and if it's white then use a normal attack. I'd recommend having MP rage as an ability so that you can keep casting magic. It would be handy to have a healing spell on your quick magic list too, so that after you've been hit to restore MP you can quickly heal. You might want to level up a bit too, I was in the 70s - 80s when I beat him but I'm sure you can do it on a lower level than that. Just cast your stop spell on the clock after every couple of attacks and you'll be fine.

Okay, so I have this friend who is gay. And he really wants to tell his parents, they said they'd love him not matter what, but also, they don't approve of gays too much. I'm thinking of talking to them myself, but then he might get mad at me. So I really don't know what I should do, or what he should do actually. I told him to wait until he moves out to tell them, but he said he might feel guilty for doing that, letting them think that he was straight for 18 years or so.. then all of a sudden breaking the news. What should I do? Talk to his parents for him, or just leave it to him? And if I leave it up to him, can you give any advice for me to tell him? Thanks! (link)

Leave it up to him, let him handle it. You don't want to be seen to be interfering. Besides if you talk to them it could cause more trouble than it's worth.
