Is there a site or downloader I can download music but not have to pay to download it or get caught? There are so many songs I want but I won't download just to be careful.

I suggest that you could type the names of songs in Google and put "mp3" or "download" after it. It is better than those big mp3 sites which leads you nowhere. Once I find a new song I like, I type it in and "usually" get it. BUT I download Japanese music so it may be harder depending on what you want.

Walmart.com sells single tracks for 99 cents each. The iTunes music store also does this for the same price. [ GC_rox_my_sox's advice column | Ask GC_rox_my_sox A Question ]

evilgogeta answered Friday March 12 2004, 10:47 am: You could use Kazaa like the last person said. The only problem is that kazaa downloads spyware (a type of program that lets advertising conpanies detect where you go on the internet and allows them to suddenly pop up adverts) onto your machine. If you can find it then get Kazaa lite. It's kazaa without the spyware. However you might have trouble finding it, the main site got shut down after the people who made the original kazaa found it. aka_kittkatt answered Friday March 12 2004, 12:01 am: Try [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and use that program. I currently use it, it's quite good I think. It's banner supported, but it is completely free. There is no limit as to how many songs you can download or upload. Just be sure to have an antivirus program when you're downloading anything, regardless of what program you're using. [ aka_kittkatt's advice column | Ask aka_kittkatt A Question ]

Hell yeah? You know, there are some Rhapsody things out there, like the one of the RealOne Player. You can download that, but you have to play for the full songs, but they do have radios there. [ PepeLePew's advice column | Ask PepeLePew A Question ]
