I've been in love with this one guy for six years, but hes more like a brother to me than anything else. He's going to college in May and i really really really want my chance with him before he leaves. I don't know if I should go for it because I don't want to kill the friendship. You don't understand. I mean, I'm IN LOVE with him. Help me!!

I think you should make a Pros and Cons about this situation. One thing might lean you towards being with him, while the others might not. Here are something's that might be a problem, if you guys started going out:


Since he's going to College in May it might be hard. May is only a few months away. Depending on how far the College is or not, it might get difficult. Long distance relationships aren't always good and it depends on how much you love one another to make it actually work. The thing is if you love him so much and you're together... yeah, you'll have fun for the couple of months he is home. But, once he goes to College you're back to where you started; without him. You'll be so used to having him around then he would have to leave to go to College.


You said he's more like a brother to you. Does he concider you to be a sister? If so, I really wouldn't suggest taking this relationship any further than what it is. Most of the time when good friends get together and break up (if that were to happen) they don't speak, or they feel too weird around another. Then the friendship you once had changes and you're never the same around one another again.


On the other hand, this guy may not be the right person for you. Him going to College in May might be a good thing for you. Maybe it'll open your eyes to new guys and you'll be able to find a new crush. All I'm saying is think about this and see which option would be best. You don't want to risk losing such a close friend (especially once you concider to be a brother), but you don't want to give up on someone you love. Love only comes around once in awhile. If this is true love, don't give up. Follow your heart, but take your brain with you.

i hooked up with this guy on sunday like four or five times. since we didn't have school yesterday, I didn't see him until today. the horrible thing is, we didn't even talk, look at eachother, or even ackknowledge eachother! it was so awkward and I felt really really bad. maybe he just used me to hook up with him. i dont know. i really want to talk to him though. should i comfront him or wait for him to comfront me? what should i say? i have no clue since this is the first time it has happened to me. this day has been so bad because of it.

Sometimes when people hook up things will be weird the next day, especially if you guys were friends to begin with. Most of the time a hook up will ruin the friendship you guys once had. While other times, it may start up feelings and one (or both people) will start liking this person as more than a friend. A) He might have feelings for you, as of now. That could be the reason he didn't talk or look at you when you seen him. B) He could have used you and just wanted a night of fun, and that could be the reason why he didn't acknowledged you. C) He could simply be uncomfortable around you now, since you guys hooked up. I suggest saying "Hi" to him and trying to start a conversation up. If you want, you could ask him if what you did the other night made anything different between you and him. Then just take the conversation from there and see where it goes.

Since you found a background you want on the Advicenators list, you just copy the code that is by the background. Once you got the link copied you go to "Column Settings." Okay, I am really nervous about getting my braces off. I mean, I am worried that those brown spots will be underneath the brackets and my teeth will look gross. You know what does wonders? Banking soda and salt! All you do is you get a little bottle and fill it with 1/2 banking soda and 1/2 salt. Then, shake it so everything is mixed together. After you're done brushing your teeth (with regular toothpaste), just put a little bit of banking soda/salt on your tooth brush and finish up with that. It works great and it REALLY does make your teeth whiter. You should see a difference.

I really don't know if he has feelings for you or not. Some of the things hint towards him liking you, but than the others don't; him breaking up with another girl, then asking someone else out and not you. Him picking on you and looking at you are good hints that he may have feelings for you. A lot of boys tend to pick on girls when they like them. However, you'll never really know if he has feelings for you until you ask him about it. Since he has a girlfriend right now, I suggest laying low for awhile. You don't want to start up anything, especially since he has a girlfriend. As of right now, I think you should wait it out until him and his girlfriend break up or try crushing on someone new.

You just got caught up in the moment and there's really nothing bad about it. It's only a kiss, so it's really nothing to worry about it. If you enjoyed it at the time, than that is great. Just don't make a habit of it or go any further than that with a bunch of different guys. Girls who do always get a name and I wouldn't want something cruel like that to happen to you, or anyone for that matter.

Last night I smoked weed for my second or third time and I got REALLY sick after I smoked. (Like right after I took the hit) I almost threw up..is this normal?! Also, my throat was killingg me..but it didnt hurt like that the first time I smoked! It was so weird. And today I feel really tired and a little nauseous and I have a terrible cough..is this normal? Is there anything I can do to feel better? How long do these feelings last?

It depends on how big the hit was that you took and how you took it; bong, lung, pipe, etc. If it was bigger than the ones you normally take, of course it's going to make you want to throw up after you're done taking it. If your lungs aren't used to it, they're going to act up and make you want to puke. The reason why your throat might be hurting is because you smoked so much of it and your lungs aren't used to it. If you smoke more than you usually do, you'll throat will be a little sore when you wake up in the morning. Either because you smoked too much or you just aren't used to it. Also, make sure you trust the person you're smoking dope with. Anyone could lace your weed. If it wasn't the same feeling you had as the first or second time you got high, (depending on how much you smoked,) it could have been laced with something else.
