www.purevolume.com
and click on charts,
they'll give you really good bands.
that's where i've found a lot of good ones.
theyre mainly rock, like emo/indie/alternative/screamo, etc.
if you like that kind of music.
hope i helped. =] [ leLovely's advice column | Ask leLovely A Question ]

mycalina answered Saturday January 13 2007, 8:36 pm: Bowling for Soup is good for when you're wanting a pick me up, it always cheers me up.
if you're wanting something a little more headbanger, try Kill Hannah,
and for sad moments, something like Rascal Flatts is calming usually. [ mycalina's advice column | Ask mycalina A Question ]
livingLIKEloversxx answered Saturday January 13 2007, 7:45 pm: first off, if there's no song you don't really really NEED to listen to, i wouldn't waste your parents money on it. Spending money for the sake of spending money isn't cool.
That aside, here goes some bands that fall under the rock/alternative style that i like:
The Rocket Summer
Mae
Semisonic (Mainly their song FNT)
Moonpools and Caterpillars
Blink 182
And Hoku is a pretty nice singer to listen to as pop-ish feel good things. [ livingLIKEloversxx's advice column | Ask livingLIKEloversxx A Question ]
