last year in novemeber 6 of my roomates got mono....i shared drinks with al of them....but i never got mono ...however now i am feeling the symptoms...is thier a chance i could have gotten it but its just acting up now...a year later?
i dont think so but you still could have caught it from them other ways that you weren't aware of. somehow sharing silverwhere or a drink and you didn't know it. Googl the symptoms and wait a little while and after a week or so you still have the symptoms then go to the doctor's and explain to him about your roomates and symptoms and all that. And you could have shared a drink or kissed someone who didn't know they had mono too. It's called the Kissing Disease

I am in a really sad situation and I need help as fast as possible,
When i was 15 years old i added this guy from a networking website and he sends a message back asking me to add him on msn, and thats exactly what I did, atfirst he meant nothing to me, just a guy online, absolutely nothing more but after talking to him online for a whole year I started having feelings for him, which i myself thought was really really wierd, atfirst i didnt take these feelings seriously, i thought it was some kinda fantasy love life I am in and i will surely wake up one day..things got worse my feelings for him grew he became my obsession we spoke for two years and even though we lived in the same country we have never ever met ..it was more than i could take...my school grades dropped down i couldnt focus on anything or think about anything except him in the end i decided to run away coz i couldnt take it anymore so i travelled SO SO FAR AWAY from him which sounds crazy but it was absolutely true, 2 weeks before i went away i met him it was a lovely night, i can never ever forget it ...everything was just perfect ..the weather ..the sky ..the moon..HIM....I couldn't believe i was going away ...we got really attached..but he never knew how i felt about him ...he never had a hint i BET he just thought we were friends but for me it wasn't just that....I knew when i saw him it will be our first and last time which sounds crazy ..he thought i was travelling to go to college but that wasn't true i could have gone to college in the same country we lived in, It was soo hard leaving my family and friends behind and the country i lived in my whole life!!!
I went away now after seven months of leaving HE IS STILL ON MY MIND ..I LIKE HIM EVEN MORE....I CRY ALMOST EVERYNIGHT...EVEN BIENG ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD AWAY FROM HIM DID NOT WORK ..things are even more worse ..i tried forgetting about him in every way..I CAN'T i just can't!!!

I definitely think so because i think it makes it all the better if you wait and build up to it. then its way more fun and exciting and memorable for both of you! The more you wait and fall in love the better the relationship gets and sex can mess that up.
my mom will usually get on to me for picking out high inch heels, and no strappless shirts, i keep telling her no, im in the 6th grade, but i cant get through to her that i am not 2 anymore. what should i do?
i think worring about that stuff and trying to dress like that and grow up shows your not ready for being older. you dont seem very mature and dont seem to see that your mom loves you and is doing the right thing for you. and i doubt a 2 yr old dresses like ur mom lets you. i dont even like high heels that much depending and flats r the style anyway. stop trying to attract the attention of boys because u will get the bad ones. i know you might like bad boys but not when they hurt you. shes doing the right thing whether you think so or not. im kind of like you, i like boys and dressing hot or whatever but calm it down. im sure your low cut tanks are good enough for the boys right now. and by the way most guys in your grade arent even thinking about girls bodies to that degree yet so you will just get sick older boys, the younger ones like girls just being themselves. so try it! haha :) hope i helped
hi im 15 years old and i got an MIC or in other words minor in consumption. I live in Overland Park Kansas and was obviously illegaly drinking. I was at a movie theatre and was caught because i was stumbling and wreaked of vodka. I weigh 93 pounds and had 3 shots of Smirrnoff. I blew a 1.0 and was maybe also charged with obstruction of justice because I would not say who got me the achohol or who I was with. How much trouble do you think I will be in? Is there a possiblity i will not be put on diversion because it was my first offense? I rate high, so please HELP!

Well me and this guy really like eachother, alot.
And everyday we call eachother "baby" and you know, do all the cutesy things that people normally do.
And about, three days ago [not including today], he was JUST telling me how much he adores me and loves me and everything and all that kind of stuff. And well, two days ago he barely talked to me, but he was playing a game, so i figured, understandable you know guys and their games and stuff. By the time we were going to bed, he seemed to return more to normal being flirty and whatnot so I figured "alright, problem's over" but he never said love you like he usually does whenever he leaves for bed.
And then yesterday I didn't get to talk to him at all cause he was like "I'm not gonna be on at all tonight so I'll talk to you soon, k?" [ he had to do stuff with his parents ] and like, signed off before I could say anything.
And well today, just.. I'm getting nothing from him. Usually he IMs me the minute I sign on with a "hey baby!", I waited for like 10 minutes and got nothing and then suddenly I got a "hey". And he's just not being cute, or nothing. He says he's in a stiuation with his friend, so I thought maybe he's just not in the mood but he says now he's feeling better and not thinking about it, but he's still not talking.
We just live a little apart,
so I just get paranoid sometimes he might not have feelings for me at all anymore.
Can someone really just like, stop caring for you after 2 days?
It boggles my mind.
I really just wanna think of it as that he's not in the mood to be all "baby" with what's gonig on with his friend, but I'm not sure anymore.

No offense but i think your super paranoid. You need some confidence in this boy. You have to understand that boys need space. Jeez girl! it must be a lot of work if this boy does all of that all the time! Boys need there own time and HATE it when girls are clingy and insecure. Exactly what your doing. Just relax and trust him! Hes your boy so dont worry about it! Give him some space and it will bring you guys closer (weird but true) dont go distant but dont act insecure or clingy. Just let each of you go about your lives without woory. Its better for both of you! If it really starts bothering you just say hey baby are you ok because you seem a little distant and i just want you to know im always here for you and while doing this give him a nice hug. if u have any more questions send me a note in my inbox! I want to get a guys' number. I mean I know how to flirt, i'm acutally very good at it, it's whatever. but like, for some reason.. I can't get myself to ask him.. I want him to ask me.. but idk, I know he's interested. We talk all the time.. and we always sneak smiles and everytime we see eachother we just immediatly walk up to eachother and start talking.. what can I do to get myself out there more? What I have done is write my number on a peice of paper and then the next time your talking to him real flirty take the paper and give it to him and say "call me tonight we can hang out or something" or sumthing like that and then leave and also just invite him to somewhere and if you know he likes you say can i call you tonight? and then he will be like sure and then he will give u his number or ak if you have it. Even if you stole it from your friends phone :P or sumthing say no so he can give it to you unless for some reason you called him and he knows you have it. Good luck and have fun!

Me and my family are having some home problems right now..my dad left my mom 3 years ago, but there still married. This christmas will be 4 years since he left. He doesn't give my mom enough money, and if he does, thats only enough to pay the house payment, then she has no money to buy food, also, she has 2 kids, and I'm the oldest and my brother is only 10. My dad is so...I don't know what to say, he gets paid every other friday, right? Well, one friday he'll give my mom 600-700$ or less, and 500$ is the house payment, and then she either has 100$ or 200$ left, yeah, thats only a little bit of food, but she has bills, too, like the phone bill, internet, drug store, etc. She gets social security cause she has one arm, that has nerve damage, but thats only for the bills, not for me and my brother. It use to go to us, we use to be perfect, we had the money when my dad was here, now, my moms late on the house, and late with alot of bills, and we can't even buy anything anymore! Our house is really bad, we had a leak, and the insurance still haven't gave us our money yet, but we're calling them, and hopefully they will. This hurts so bad, but my mom is getting a divorce soon. Why is she finally getting one? She didn't have the money back then, and I don't think my dad couldv'e filed for one, since he left, but still. Should I pray? A few nights ago I prayed, I said "God please help us get some help, let us get a new home, and my mom get a divorce so she can start over and have a happy life." I'm going to pray everynight now, and hopefully we'll get some help. My mom NEEDS to start over, my dad kills her everytime he comes by, and now, he barely comes and sees us anymore. Only when he HAS to, or gets paid. He doesn't even care about me, and he already made my mom have a stroke and he thought it was funny, and he made fun of her, because the doctor at the hospital asked her questions, and she said the wrong one, and my dad laughed. That makes me dislike him even more. Should I sign my famly up for that show "Extreme Home Makeover" you know, on ABC. We are having problems, and we really do need it. I can't invite friends over cause it's so bad. We really need help with are home, and get my mom caught up with her bills, and our home. We can't lose this house, we'll have no where to go..
Sorry this was long, I just need to know if there's any help out there, and I don't know who to ask.

Ok first I have to say God will help you even if it doesn't seem like it. I will pray for you too even if you don't know me all in all you are my sister(or brother) and i shall do what i can to help you. No offense but Extreme Home Makeover is more about helping people that have had bad things happen to there family but still have lots of love and help others and a divorce isn't really like that even tho you do have those other problems. If you trust God everything will be ok even when it looks like he's nto helping you, he really is. And i know it seems hopeless, but things WILL get better and you will learn much too. Stay close with your family and try not to be embarassed. You don't have to invite your friends over because i understand but be proud of what your mother has done for you guys considering everything. ugh omg i am extremely freaking out. My mom has been stressed out enough and her boyfriend has been proud of me lately but now im pregnant and don't know if i should make my mom more stressed out or what. the only thing that i am worried about after telling my mom is that she is going to go tell her boyfriend and i don't want him to know anything about it and if i tell my mom she is going to think that everytime i go see the oppsite sex that she is going to not be able to trust me even though being in this position i am scared enough and i never want to be in this position again.

i know this kid who's really sweet. he's skater and he smokes cigarettes and pot and he drinks like every weekend. he's really nice to me and makes an effort to talk to me even if it's about something stupid. for example, if he was absent he'll ask me what we did in class even though i know he doesn't care what we did. he says he's going to try to stop smoking pot but he hasn't done it yet. personally i don't like smokers. i don't want to "kiss an ashtray" but he is really sweet and i heard he might like me from a friend of his. so do i make an effort and forget about the bad things and just have a relationship with him or is it just too many bad things to ignore?
The others are right about it not making him a bad person, but if he drinks and smokes pot that gives him a lot of chances to be high or drunk and hurt you. He could physically abuse you or emotionally hurt you. I dont think its good for you or very safe for you to be with him unless he stops. Drinking a bit socially is ok but getting drunk is NOT cool. Kissing an ashtray is disgusting and if you tell how you feel about his habits maybe he will stop. Like they said if he stops for you he's good, but those things can be hard to stop and he may lie and do them again. Just be careful because honestly I wouldnt even get involved. it sounds like to much pain and chances to get hurt to me. And what happens if you are driving with him and hes drunk and crashes and your severley injured? Or he wil probably ask you to smoke pot with him and say you dont care about if you dont. Or what if he kills himself or hurts himself? Hope I helped :)

Hey! Ok, well you have a pretty good voice. I've heard better but i have heard A LOT worse!!! The first thing is instead of singing out words you just end it instead of singing it out which would sound a lot better with your voice.Like magic carpet RIDE, and when you say NO, where to GO. first i'll say i've heard from a bunch of people you can get them from growing really fast like if you go through a growth spurt. i know a couple girls with them and they're fine. just use some cream to make them less noticable and excerise is great for any problem at any age at any weight any time! haha :D

okay theres this club called "People to People." My friend told me about it, and I thought it would be cool so I nominated myself for it. My sister already was nominated by somebody else.. and yeah its possible to just nominate yourself so I did, and now I can go to a meeting. My problem is.. my friends who have been in People to People (this year we get to go to Japan!) say you have to do this interview.. um has anybody else been in People to People and knows what the interviews are like? cause a lot of people want to get to go on the trip and I'm dying to go to Japan.. I've wanted to go there my whole life, because when I was younger I really liked Japanese stuff.. I mean I guess I've already been to quite a lot of places. I was born in London, my parents are from Cameroon and I've visited Cameroon.. I have a very interesting childhood and I'm a pretty interesting , fun, hardworking person. I think I am a perfect canidate.. but Im not sure.. would they want people who havent been to places to get to go to People to People? my dad says he will pay for me and my sister if we get in (yeah we know its expensive but its worth it) but its not like my family is millionaires and can afford to go to amazing places like ALL the time.. so the experience would be...REALLY special. please help.. and thanks SO much for your time. :)
coolio i was invited to Japan too! i really want to go but they thought im in 8th but im in 9th and high school does a different trip so idk. anyway im not exactly sure about the interveiws so sry i didnt really help i just wanted to say that. Yes, i do have friends that are your age that haven't been kissed yet! Don't worry there are lots of teens who haven't! I will admit it's very fun, but I will always have my memory of my 1st kiss. Don't let it be with someone you didn't like and something that doesn't mean anything. Waiting just makes it all the better. Making out isn't THAT big a deal. Actually i feel like kissing isn't even that big a thing now that I've done it! Just wait and don't worry and when it happens you just enjoy every second of it! :D Hope i helped!
