i did the cabbage diet, the original version from Poland, and i lost 7 pounds in 6 days. it's an unhealthy diet since you don't eat carbs, but you should only do it for 1 week at a time. And most people say its impossible to keep the weight off, but I prove them wrong.

I asked earlier about my ingrown toenails. Another question I have is if I have it on both feet will the dr take out both at the same time or do you think they will take out only the one that is worse?

they will most likely do both, not necesarrily(sp?) at the same time, but probably during the same surgery, one after the other.

it depends why the appointment was set up for. if your going to get a checkup, ( i dont know if your a boy or girl) then he might check to see if your balls drop or if your vagina is healthy and infectionless.


if he does touch you and you don't feel comftorable, you should ask him why he is doing that. he should answer and tell you what he's expecting. it's okay to ask. if you're close with your mom, you should bring her in just in case he does something inappropiate that he shouldnt be doing. if you really feel uncomftorable with a male doctor and your a female, i suggest you ask your mom to get you a female doctor. my doctors a female, and she has never touched me inapropiatly (sp?) besides by the breats. hope i helped

i'm 14 and i'm a babysitter, you could babysit. also, chinese take out places usually hire people at 14, (illegally of course) but you get paid. you should go into stores and ask what the hiring age is if your curious, maybe target hires at 15, also many bagel shops hire at 15. ask around.

i work in a candy store & i cannot stop eating the candy! i am trying to loose a little weight & in the morning/during school i tell myself i won't eat any but i wind up getting carried away & eating a ton of candy at work! it's hard because i see the other girls i work with eating it too & even when they are not there i am just as tempted! i even try to have a healthy snack befor i go so i am not as hungry, but i wind up eating just as much once i am there! what can i do to stop this? are there any tricks to give me more will power?

the first thing you should start doing is to stop bringing money to work with you, so you cant buy any candy at all. you also need to learn self-control, before you eat the candy bar, think about the consequences.
you should ask yourself, "after i eat this candy bar, i know i'm only going to gain weight and taste the candy for a few minutes, so is it really worth it?"
also, candy gives you cavities and usually gets gunk stuck in your teeth, and you don't want to ring up a customer with smelly breath and nasty teeth. the best way to start is to not bring money to work with you, it's the easiest too, to also help you not eat it, you should ask your coworkers to tell you before they eat a candy bar so you or they could leave the room so you don't get tempted. to help you feel better, when a coworkers eating candy, you should say to yourself (not to be mean, but it'll make you stop) "good thing i'm not eating a candy bar, i don't want to become fat, but if she keeps eating them, she'll be a balloon!"

I'm 14 years old and a female.
I have a boyfriend who I have been going out with for 4 months now and at first he was so sweet and really nice to me. Over time he started getting mad at the littlest things,, like how I dressed or did my make-up. He would call me a whore or a slut and other things, and about a month after that he bcame abusive. He would always loose his temper and hit me. Never in front of anyone though, and he just got worse and worse but I never told anyone. So after school yesterday I tried to break up with him, he got so mad and punched me. He said if I ever tried to break up with him again I would regret it. They were both pretty beat up.Both of them got sent to the principals office. Matt got suspended for a week, and my boyfriend 3 weeks. (He has previos fighting records)I caught Matt as he was leavigng and asked him why he would get in a fight over me. All he said was "I love you and I couldn't stand to see you hurt like that" and he walked away. What should I do I really need help.

what "matt" did was so cute, and you should totally go out with him. break up with your boyfriend, no matter what crap he tells you, and tell him in a firm and strong voice "if you ever lay another finger on me, i'm going to the police." that'll probably stop him. tell your mother ( only if she allows you to have boyfriends at this age) and tell her whats been going on. tell matt the whole story, tell him how you feel about him, tell him you trust him and appreciate his help. don't tell him you love him unless you actually mean it, the word love is so abused these days...

okay. i know 5'3 115 i guess isnt considered fat. but i dont know. my stomach has some fat. its not the weight thats really worrying me. its just that my thigh is like big. and my stomach has some fat. does anyone habve any ideas to cut some fat off the stomach and trim some off the thigh>?

ooh, this is something i know. the best way to cut off some poundage off the thighs is to run. running works the thighs and calfs out, i also recomned you buy the latest cosmogirl magazine, i order it and it has great workouts that help you work different parts of your body.
and you should do crunches and situps for less stomach fat, you also get abs..

I'm really popular at my school, probally the most popular girl in my school; but I don't like any of the jocks or popular guys at my school who like me. I like this one guy who is in a totally different group than the one I hang out with. He's not someone a bunch of girls like, and he's not really popular. He hangs out with the punks and rockers and people lke that, and I do dress punk, but I don't no how to talk to him. I don't have him in any of my classes and he doesn't know who I am. 1. if your friends are truly your real friends and not being friends with you because you're popular, then they would support your decision to get to know him.
2. if he has a girlfriend, you shouldn't really try flirting with him or leading him on, he has a girlfriend and he'll probably stick with her.
3. if your friends are friends with him, then use this to get to him! when your friends hang out with just him again, (not with his girlfriend) then ask them if you can come, it's a great way to get to know someone if you don't know them.

yeah, cooler older people...i've tried being confident...and i am...but i'm also realistically aware of my abilities...and these people are much closer to the definition of cool than me, wittier, smarter, wiser, up on trends i'm not up on, and have a hard time keeping up with ect...they are nice to me but...i'm pretty sure they're also a bit bored with me...how can i change this...without becoming mentally four years older...i wouldn't mind putting some effort into keeping up with their topics of intrest ect...but i just don't think i can get to where it has taken them four years to get to intellectually so quickly...how can i get these guys to like me...i'd love to be in their company. they are really interesting.

you don't need to try to be anything your not, be yourself around them, if they don't dig it, screw em. i 'm in 9th grade and have a few 12th grade friends, really they're just like you, and can act like kids and be goofy too, they're not smarter, they just know more than you, and hope i helped.

any tips on getting started on your homework? mind tricks to play with yourself or something? i seem to find a way to justify not doing my homework just about everytime...help me help myself.

you should get started by right when you come home. don't turn on the tv, don't take a piss, don't eat. go straight to your room close the door, and set a time limit for in how long you should get your hw done. if your like me and dont have a tv or computer in your room, this will mosrt likely work. don't procrastinate, and the earlier you get it done, the better you feel, believe me!

How do u make a cake???

that's a very general statement, but there are so many different cakes its hard to answer!
you can always buy an already made cake mix box at the super market, but heres some recipies:

(yellow cake)
Things You'll Need
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. butter
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
STEP 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
STEP 2: Grease and lightly flour two round 8-inch cake pans and set aside.
STEP 3: Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a small mixing bowl and set aside.
STEP 4: Beat butter or margarine with a hand mixer at medium speed for 30 seconds in a large mixing bowl.
STEP 5: Add sugar and vanilla and beat well.
STEP 6: Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
STEP 7: Add dry flour mixture and milk alternately, beating on low speed after each addition until just combined.
STEP 8: Pour batter into prepared cake pans.
STEP 9: Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
STEP 10: Cool cakes in pans on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
STEP 11: Remove cakes from pans and cool thoroughly on racks.
STEP 12: Frost with your favorite frosting.


(choclate chip cake)
Sift together
2 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream together
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
beat the eggs in one at a time

Add to the creamed mixture
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla.

Add flour mixture to creamed butter mixture and mix together.

Mix together the following:
1 c. chopped nuts (we always used walnuts_
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Grease a tube pan (angel food cake pan). Pour 1/2 the batter in the pan
then sprinkle on 1/2 the chocolate chip mixture. Add the remainder of the
batter, then sprinkle the remainder of the chocolate chip nut mix on top.

Bake 1 hour at 350F.





VANILLA ANGEL FOOD CAKE WITH MANGO-GINGER SAUCE
Mango sauce enhanced with crystallized ginger complements this delicious low-fat cake.
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup sifted cake flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups egg whites (about 11 large)
2 teaspoons warm water
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Powdered sugar
Thinly sliced crystallized ginger (optional)
Mango-Ginger Sauce



Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift 1/2 cup sugar, flour and salt into medium bowl 5 times. Using electric mixer, beat egg whites in large (at least 4-quart) bowl until foamy. Add 2 teaspoons warm water and cream of tartar and beat until soft peaks form. Gradually add remaining 1 cup sugar and vanilla and beat until stiff but not dry. Sift sugar-flour mixture over whites 1/4 cup at a time and gently fold in.

Transfer batter to ungreased 12-cup angel food cake pan with removable bottom (do not use nonstick pan).

Bake until cake is light golden, top springs back when touched lightly and cake begins to pull away from sides of pan, about 45 minutes. Remove cake from oven. Turn cake pan upside down; place center tube of pan over narrow bottle neck or funnel. Cool cake completely.

Using knife, cut around sides and center tube of pan to loosen cake. Push up cake. Cut cake from bottom of pan. Transfer to platter. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Wrap tightly with plastic and store at room temperature.) Dust cake with powdered sugar. Garnish with crystallized ginger, if desired. Serve with Mango-Ginger Sauce.

Makes 8-10 servings.

Everyone in my grade is going out. Its kind of new this year since were is 7th grade. All the girls and boys are crushing or going out. No one like,likes me. I feel really bad. your only in 7th grade, it's something you really shouldn't start worrying about. the 7th graders who are going out with eachother, the baddest thing they're probably doing is kissing eachtoher on the cheek, you're really not missing out. i know what it feels like feeling sucky about not having anyone liking you, it always makes you feel pretty and special when a guy likes you.

Hey everyone. Well, I started my period about 5 days ago and have a few questions. #1: How long does a period last?? #2: How long should you wait to start wearing tampons? and then i have a concern. i wear pads of course, but blood has gotten into EVERY pair of underwear i wear. what can i do about this? i can't go out buy a whole supply of underwear every week. i just got my period over the summer, so i'm kinda new to it too.
a period lasts between 3-8 days, it all depends on you. i started wearing tampons the second time i got my period, and believe me, i've learned to love them.
i first started to wear pads, but there uncomfotorable and always leave me worrying about stains. you should practice wearing tampons by using a mirror, you should lay down on your bed, thats most comftorable. you should open up your vagina buy opening the skin flaps so you can see the whole, then gently relax your muscles and slowly slide the tampon in. if you need more help on how to insert it, you should buy a tampax box of tampons and it has a little sheet of paper in the box that has more help. if you will continue to use pads, i suggest you wear two pads at once, for maximum protection, or just get heavy duty pads. you should start practicing to use tampons, and i got the hang of it in about a half an hour. remember though, you should keep tampons in for only 6-8 hours, other wise it clogs your vagina and you can get TSS. with tampons, you don't need to worry about staining anything, and when you put them in right, you won't be able to feel a thing. Also, you need to push the tampon in really deep, otherwise it will hurt. hopefully i helped

one way to calm your nerves down is to meditate before the show, convince yourself that you won't see the people in the audience. you can also pretend like nobodys there, or that everybodys in there underwear, and that they all look more ridiculous then if you tripped onstage. concentrate on your script, good luck, and hopefully i helped.

i got started babysitting at 13, and no you don't need any paperwork.
i got my job through one of my mom's friends. you should ask your mom if she has any friends who need babysitters, and if they hear your up fot the job, your mom's friends will most likely spread the word. if that doesn't work, then put up fliers. i put up fliers, but the response wasnt too good.

Well over this past summer, i walked in a lot on my dad watching porn and using a webcam.. wouldnt a webcam be considered cheeting for the most part? Anyways, he's always at work, and he's always at meetings. hunny, i'm going through the SAME EXACT THING! until this year, (i'm 14/f too) i always thought i was going to save myself till marrige, but then i realized, i would not be able to stand not having sex, i'm a really horny person, so whenever i think about saving myself, my thoughts go straight to having sex.
