I think it's great that Livestrong bracelets are such a big hit because they help people. Some knockoffs like the ones for breast cancer, the tsunami relief and various other organazations are also cool. I only have one to support the New York Yankees, but I am going to expand my collection to breast cancer, tsunami relief, and livestrong ones as well. Not everyone has them, but I say that they're pretty darn cool!! I hoped I answered your question, and if I did, please rate me! Thank you!

I have a friend that has been drinking and stuff. I've told her not to but i know she doesn't care. And now everybody is all like yeah i drink a lot and i've gotten drunk and smoked that. It seems like everybody smokes and drinks! it's crazy we're all still young! I don't do that kind of stuff and I feel weird like ppl think it's no big deal drinking and i say it's wrong and they think i'm weird. I'm so confused! does everybody do the drugs? i'm not going to start doing them but should i still speak up and say they're wrong?

I don't do drugs, drink or sleep around. I don't want/need that kind of reputation and I know people with that kind of reputation and it has hurt them. I think that drugs and drinking are terrible (I may reconsider drinking when it's legal). I think that sex when I'm 13 is slutty and if i have premarital sex, I am definitely not going to have it with some 13 year old boy. Enough about me. Again, I don't think you're wrong and yes, you should speak up!! Love

If you think he likes you, ask him out!! Guys get shy too, and it is cool nowadays for a girl to ask a guy out. I would include him as part of a group and go from there. If you guys spend time together in the group, then go on a double date or a triple date even. Then work it down to a single date!! Good Luck!!

I've been trying to be a good singer lately. I went for lessons but they did absolutely nothing. I've been singing everyday after school for the past 3-4 years. It's the only time I can because I get embarassed. We had a school musical and when I had to sing to tryout, I choked. But before that, I sang for this girl that wanted to hear me and we both agreed I did good. So bottom line: How can I become a better singer and get over being afraid.

My choir teacher is an amazing person at giving warm-ups to tone the voice. IM me at igotamonopoly and I'll tell you them one by one. I can be your vocal coach haha.

Sorry so long!
At my school, every year and the end of the school year, every class starts studying Family Life. It's basically about getting to know yourself, your family, your friends, etc. There's also a section about sex (but we never get to it.)Ever year we always learn about the same things (as stated above.) We study Family Life at the end of the day (like at 2:15) during our regular free period to do our homework. You can choose whether or not you want to take Family Life, and I'm not sure what to do. So my question is: Should I take Family Life or not take it and go to another classroom and do my homework?

The first Family Life class was today and my friend said that she was able to do her homework during the class, because the teacher didin't really do much.

*It won't affect my grade if I don't take Family Life. I'd just have to do alternate assignments.

(I'm a 13/girl in 8th grade)

If the alternate assignments aren't hard, and you will be bored and you will do your homework, then I say don't take it. It is a waste of time if the aforementioned are true.

hi im 13/f and my mom still wont let me babysit. its rlly embarrasing bc i am 13 but she thinks im not "matture" enough. i feel like im being treated like a baby. how do i get her to let me start babysitting so tht i dont hav to hav a babysitter? thanx ~steph~

take a babysitting course form the red cross or a hospital. get certified in cpr.

hey does anyone know where i can go to get punkish style clothing for pretty cheap (tops $8-15, pants $15-25)? i know hot topic sells a good variety but they tend to get pretty expensive. stores like ross or tjmaxx don't have a whole lot either. anyone have any good local stores or online stores i can go to look? thanks!

I'm not sure where to turn. I feel like I have run out of options and I just can't cope.

I've seen a pyschiatrist, physchologist, hypnotherapist and counseller- none helped. I recently went to my head of year when things were really too much- to the extent when it was either help or die- and she, although she said she wouldn't since she saw it wouldnt help, has just asked a counseller to speak to me. I need real help. I know it can help to talk through fears and everything but it hasn't helped me in the past and I cannot put myself through the pain of living for the date where I saw a therapist and begging them to help me. It was hell and it never really helped anything.

I need SOMETHING more now. Things are really bad at the moment. It's hard to explain but basically I have complete phobias of lots of things (certain films, accents, places, anything) that I can relate to a certain person who hurt me. I don't want to go into this since it's not overly relevent to this question.

I just want to know if there is ANYTHING else out there. I really don't know what to do. I want to die. I feel like everything is helpless and no one can help me. I'm not allowed medication as the pyschiatrist felt I was too dependant on things. I don't know where else to turn. My parents don't either.

The reason I went to my head of year was for this reason- I am totally stuck. I can't handle it. I feel like I am falling and no one can stop me. I need help so badly- I just can't see anything out there.

ask your parents if you could write on the walls. write anything that makes you happy on your walls. if it makes you mad, ever, paint over it. it's really good therapy. also, you could keep a journal

it depends if you think you have 1500 songs...if you only own 2 cds, then i think u should get the smaller one. if you are a music freak, then i say go for the 1500. good luck, they're a good piece of equipment!!

For a girl, I think that a skirt suit would be good, maybe with a lace cami underneath, or nice pants and a blouse or a nice skirt and a blouse.Very dark jeans would also be appropriate. Heels would be approriate for the suit, but nothing else. Too dressy.

For a guy, a suit would be appropriate.

ok...my boyfriend is moving 13 miles away from me and he is going to be going to a different school and i trust him and love him with all my heart and life and all but im afraid that we are going to slowly stop talking then we are never going to see each other again. should i break up with him now and save both of us or just one of us the grief or should i stay with him and try real hard to keep intouch what should i do?

13 miles is not that much... you guys could work out together very week by walkking the 13 miles, I'd do it if he was worth it!!
