Absolutely! A memory card is a divice that holds a large amount of information from a computer. If you were to go to an electronics store you would be directed to the computer isle where there would be a small divice (some are shaped like rectangular prisims others like a flat, tiny card) and you could choose your sized of memory card. Think of a diskette or cd. They hold your essay for music class and pics from your digital camera. They can also hold music! However, they are easily breakable and most newer computers are more advanced than to use a diskette slot, plus there is a limited amout of room on the diskettes. Look on the side of your computer. Do you see all of those slots (they may be in the back if you have a laptop)? A memory card will go into one of those slots (probably USB depending on the brand of the card or slot K). Then all you have to do is go to the program that has your music (iTunes, Music Match, whatever), go to the File button, click Save As, scroll down on the bar at the top of the page untill you find Removable disk, open it, and save your music to it under a name like iPod music or something. If this is too long and you have stopped reading, go to an eletronics store and ask a salesperson to show you where the memory cards are. 1GB refers to how much space is on the card. Remeber, MB's are smaller than GB's. I think like 1,000 or more MB's equals 1GB. If you have any more questions or get stuck do not hesitate to ask me, my e-mail is tapdiva45129@aim.com.

Soon, I will be getting a new computer. The one I have now we've had for four or five years and it's getting slow. I have an iPod and I don't know how to save my songs so I can put them on my new computer. I don't have a CD burner so that won't work. Is there any way I can send them to a friend's computer and they can send it to my new computer? I really don't want to have to buy all my songs again that would be way too expensive. Buy a memory card that is at least 1GB and save the songs on that then transfer it to your new PC.

I totally agree with you! I wanted some serious advice and all I got was a get over it or a lol. Try e-mailing the sponsor guy of this website and suggesting that he monitor people more closely so that if they are not doing what people are here for then they recive warnings or suspensions.

I stayed over my friends house one weekend and her brother is my bestfriends boyfriend. That night me and him stayed up and hung out and played around (like hittin eachother with stuff and pushin eachother of the bed) and he said 'You know what? Dont tell Cjay(my bestfriend) this but I think I'm starting to like you. I didn't like him before he said that and I started to like him.And they are the type of couple that break up everynight and get back together sooner or later, and this was a night they broke up.Then we stayed up all night watching movies and playing around and holding hands and stuff, nothing bad. But Cjay found out and she told me to stay away from her for however long. Her b.f told me that he ment that he liked me, and not to worry b/c he'll fix everything. ok i have a friend thats been through a lot & i dont wanna be friends with him anymore. hes always threatening to kill himself & pushes things on me & if i juss ignore him he'll do something really stupid & i'd feel guilty. i don't know what to do. please give me some ideas.

Do not abandon him. He sounds like he needs help. Be a good friend to him and try and help him. Wouldn't you want someone to do that for you? Watch him very closely and pay close attention to what he says. He may be hinting at something horrible he might do. Try talking to your friend and expressing your concern for him.

Children mature at different ages. You should let them decide when they are ready to start dating. Trust your child to make wise decisions and have the "sex talk" if you are really worried. Talking to your child, inform them because you can't be there to hold their hand everyday.

Ok, I'm going to go through all of this and try to not sound vain or concieted. I'm just going to be totally honest because I am the 'advisor' of our group and I am totally killing myself trying to help her.
So my friend Angela and I were fat geeks two years ago. I was the one with the sense of fashion though. Last summer, she went on vacation and came back totally transformed and in shape. She has a really nice body now. I passed on all my advice to her and she started wearing designer labels and boots and pretty much copying my "style". I didn't mind though, like it's flattering to me that she would take whatever I said to heed.
Over the last two years, I got thinner too but I a little overweight and not nearly as thin as Angela.
The problem with Angela is that she isn't the prettiest girl on the block. She has a huge forehead which she has covered up with bangs but now her face is totally square-shaped and it kind of looks like a block. She has no-lips, not thin lips, just no lips. The thing that stands out about her is her gorgeous blue eyes and her body. Anyway, she's not very attractive but she's a very nice and honest (although sometimes she annoys guys by nagging and starting arguments).
So I don't have that great of a body but I'm lucky, I inhereted good genes from my parents. I'm not as beautiful as mother but I'm fairly ok.
All my other friends are really pretty too.
So we recently found out that Angela was upset because the rest of our friends complemented me more than they complemented her. Well, I was pretty mad because I didn't think she should be that superficial. People usually commented when she went the extra mile to get ready when they do that all the time to me. Honestly, I thought it was a fair trade, I was... I guess prettier than her but she has a great body.
Now guys aren't all that interested in her. She's pretty much labeled herself desperate in fun (something no one should do even if they're joking, in my opinion). Some guys say it's becasue she comes on too strong and some say she isn't that pretty.
Recently, this guy told one of my friends that he thought I was hotter than Angela. That friend told Angela and Angela hinted that she didn't understand why. When we're all together and I talk about how so-and-so might have been hitting on me, she agrees with everyone when they say that he probably was but I can kind of -sense- that "Yeah right" is on her mind.
For example, if a guy in our class talks to me a lot, the next day, she'll wear a more revealing sexy top to the same top and try to talk to him a lot.
I'm wondering what's going on with her. Does she think I'm ugly or something? Is it jealousy? Or she thinks I'm unattractive and doesn't think guys will like me? Is she competing with me? She doesn't do it with my other friends and they're prettier than me and have better bodies. I'm afraid that this thing will escalate and I'll lose her.
I need to know how to fix this- and also try to get her a boy friend because she really wants one too. I rate 5s. (link)

It sounds to me like you are comparing yourself to her. Don't! I bet you are a very gorgeous person. If the boys like you they will come back. Try talking to your friend, she may not realize how bitchy she is acting. If she blows you off then screw her.

Ok... im 13/f and i weigh 170lbs yes i know im fat... but ive been losing a lot of weight.. but all my friends are tiny and i feel so selfconcence(SP) around them and like i feel like they talk about my weight when im not around(but i know they dont) i just feel like really fat... is there anyway that i cant just be not selfconcense around them and i can just be me without feeling fat.... im already on a really good diet so you dont have to tell me to get on a diet.. i need mental help on this 1 ... :'(

I am a curvy cutie too so I know where this is coming from. A woman can weigh 100lbs and look ugly while a second woman can weigh 200lbs and be the most beautiful woman in all of the world. Simply put, weight is not the only thing that matters you have to act beautiful to be beautiful.

Me and one of my friends wanted to play a prank on this annoying guy that had been stalking another friend of ours that works as a waitress. Well actually there were 3 people in on the prank. The owner and chef of the restaurant encouraged us to do this because his waitress (our friend) had been complaining about this guy that always came into the restaurant, asked her out repeatedly, bought her unwelcomed gifts and then followed her home after her shift. So this was the joke: we went into the porn shop, bought all these sex toys, wrapped them, and then signed it to him from a "secret admiror". This would give him a taste of his own medicine. Well when he went into the restaurant and picked up his gift, he blamed it on another customer, and now our friend that owns the restaurant is mad at me and my friend for having one of his regulars upset. But it was HIS idea. I also found out that he thinks that I have a crush on the creep who was stalking the waitress. When I asked why I was told because I was one the ringleaders in the prank. I was furious and told everyone that it was a joke that went too far, and that I wished I hadnt gotten involved. How can I make things right? And why should I have to apologize because I wasnt the only one in on this. (link)

Is it safe to break open Vitamin E gel filled capsules to put the gel onto scars to help them fade? Vitamin E is supposed to help with that, and I've heard that rubbing the gel on the scars is good, but I've also heard that breaking open any sort of pill is bad for you. Any insight on this? (link)

I have this science teacher okay and he is so darn mean I'm black and he's white everyday he tells me to take off my coat in his classroom because it's a policy but he's sitting there talkin to a white girl who had an a big fluffy azz coat zipped up and all but didn't say anything to her but this isn't about coats he also treats the black kids way worser than the white kids the way he treats the white kids on a scale of 1-2-10 I would say a 9.The way he treats the black kids on a scale of 1-2-10 is a

If he tries to shut you up keep talking because he can not lay a finger on you and make him know that you know that. Get the other black kids' attention in the class, have them say something!
