Q: Can anybody please tell me how i can get cheek dimples without surgery?

I have never heard of anyway possible to get dimples. Sorry.

Q: Should I register to vote? I got the papers in the mail today cuz i'm almost 18, but I've never really cared about politics or thought about voting, and I don't particularly want to do jury duty at all, which I would have to do if they called. So should I or no?

I think you should register. I keep saying this presidential election I am not voting but I know in the long run I more and likely will. I mean do research on the people that are running learn about them. You dont have to register, but its a good idea.

Q: 19/f, my boyfriend is 18/m. We've been together for a year and three months. We've been living together for 6 months.

Tonight he asked me to marry him, and of course I said yes. I know in my heart it feels right, and what not.

We also planned to not get married in exactly a year. We wanna wait a little bit for a wedding to make sure we have enough money to afford a wedding along with our basic needs of life, because things aren't cheap.

I was wondering if this is normal to not get married after a year of engagment?

And I want your opinions as if we got engaged too soon??

I talked to my mom, and she wasn't upset. She said she saw nothing wrong with it as long as I'm not rushing into legal marriage when I'm not finiacially ready, and I assured her I wasn't.

I just wanted to add that marriage is very hard. I said you share money, you support and take care of each other. You learn to ask each other to make large purchases, or tell each other where you are going. It takes a lot of work doing so. It seems like little things but its really not. So living together while engaged can make it easier. Just remember marriage takes lots of work and commitment so dont give up even when things get tough. I have been married going on 3 years and we still argue about little things but its getting much better and easier.

Q: Okay...so I know this is like a REALLY weird question...BUT! I want to start like wearing thongs...and I'm 13(yes I'm young I know) but I have no idea what to tell my mom I can't just say "Hey mom I wanna start wearing thongs let's go buy some!" not happening! When I was your age a friend of mine and I walked to walmart and bought them. My mom found them in the washer and asked me whos were they? I said mine and she said oh okay. no drama no argument.

Q: I have flu and this morning I woke up with a clogged throat and whenever I cough it sounds really gross. But nothing comes up. I was taking my temp. and I felt food come up my throat but I am not nauseus except when I twist my stomach. What is causing this? I haven't been nautious in all the 4 days of being sick. And it's more gross feeling than nausea. Please Help. Thanks! :)

Go to the store and by mucenx I no i spelled in it wrong but sound it out. That medicine is amazing you swallow it and with in a little bit you cough up the stuff stuck in your throat its nasty but you will feel much better,

Her wanting you will come back. I was this way with my husband when I was pregnant and he hated it and it put a hurt on our marriage. I liked massages and it turned me on. Buy her flowers or write her flirty notes.

Q: so me and my fiance of 2 years have had a rocky relationship but its good most days and sometimes bad like any relationship, lately it has been getting worse i have schizophrenia and he knows that and tries to understand what i'm going through and tries to understand what it means to have schizophrenia. lately our arguments have been getting worse he recently physically hurt me and we talked it out and said never again but each time we fight now it gets to the point that he physically hurts me or himself and i'm sure what to do at this point. i love him and i want things to work out but is it the right thing to go through all of that?

It sounds like if you want to safe your relationship counseling would be best for you. Learning how to deal with the fights is best. I like talking out the situation my husband likes to cool down first. After 2 years of marriage we have finally learned how to deal with our fights not all but most of them

It doesn't really matter what you mix it with. How ever you like it. I would not suggest mixing a bunch of liquor together. Now if you are under 21 I dont suggest drinking until you are legal age. It ruins your child hood trust me.

If you are of age remember dont drink and drive.

for someone my age i can definately say i have witnessed a lot of violence in my family. it started when i was 2. i still have flashbacks of how my dad beat my mom. and raped her. they divoreced and of course my mom won the court battle of full custody and i would only get get go with my dad Wednesday and every other weekend. a few years past and my mom got a new husband and they now have two kids (half broher and sister)i love them! then my stepdad got deported back to Mexico. He had no choice. And my mom was left with the kids and I. She struggled but i helped her around the house, clean, take care of the kids while she worked hard paying for our lttle apartment.
But i still had the Wednsday with my dad and every other weekend. So, my dad picked me up from my mom's aprtment and my dad and i left to go to his rented room. Night came and it was about 1:30 and i felt a hand on my vagina, it was my dad's(he was sleeping). . . . . i freakeD out and took his hand out and grabbed my phone and ran to the bathroom. i called my mom crying and she picked me up. and i as around 11-12. She called the cops but my dad HAS SOO MUCH FREAKING LUCK he conviced the police it was one of my hallicinations!or "wetdreams"?! and im like WHAT THE FUCKK?!!! I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND I DIDNT LIE The cops didnt beilive me (except for my mom) so CASE DISSMISSED.my momm couldnt take it anymore and she left with my permission back too Mexico. accrodding to law my mom has to leave me with my dad. and grandma. so he left she's now happy and im stuck here with my awesome grandma but with my stupid dad. i love/hate him. :/

and after all that shit^ im now 12-13 i started cutting myself and my guyfriend found out and he's telling me too stop (i cutt myself kinda deep)and he confiscaed all of my sharp objects. it's none of his business and it's not hurting anyone. it relaxes me. and idc what anyone says i'll still do it. i sometimes want to die and just have the world leave me alone. . .i've been acting strange with my dad and he wants me too see a physcoilogist because he thinks im "mentally unstable". . .Am i?? :(

You are not mental but you should get some help you have PTSD. (post dramatic stress disorder) now remember this is the internet I am not diagnosing you i am giving you my opinion. Now cutting I think you should wear a rubber band around your wrists and snap it when you feel stressed. That is how I quit cutting years ago. Sometimes when I get real emotional I will really want to do it again. But I dont I might have to get in the shower and scream and cry but I dont cut. Now for treating what I believe you have is anti depressants they will suggest talking about your problems and it could be good for you. I hated it when I was younger but honestly once you feel more comfortable with the person and you let them get to know you. It is so much better. and talking to someone you isnt related to you or close with you is so much easier. Everything will be alright. I know your mother loves you and as soon as you are of age you can be with her. I am sure your father didnt mean to do that to you if you were sleeping just dont sleep in the same room with him if at all possible. and keep your head up. It doesn't go away but it does get easier to deal with.

Q: I have the flu and my doctor gave my a tablet to swallow twice a day. Im deathly afraid of throwing up and one of the possible side effects are nausea and vomiting. Also I HATE swallowing pills. I choked on one once and cant do it since then. Will it make me nauseous? And how do I swallow such a big pill? Please help quickly becase I need to take it now, it's sitting right next to me...staring me down :( Thanks!

We don't know what kind of medicine you are taking to tell you if it will make you nausea or not. My 5 year old has to swallow to large capsules every morning I thought him by placing the pill in his mouth and getting a drink of water and swallow it took him a few tries at first.

I know how you feel. I was sexually abused at 13 as well. Its hard enough having it done to you let alone a family member doing it. I waited years before I told anyone and I really regret it. I think you should talk to your parents. You can even talk to your counselor at school first. Its sometimes easier talking to someone that you don't really know first. I want you to remember it is not your fault not one bit and there is support groups please take advantage of them. I didn't tell anyone and ended up not caring and ended up pregnant at 15. Get some help hun. It will get better.

Q: I've had my Gravity 2 for about 10 months now, and it's always worked fine, up until a few months ago. Its battery would suck up quick, I'd charge it all night, and then, it would be dead by the time I got to school. The ride from the bus to school takes about 20 minutes. Anyways, I have never dropped it and today, it would not charge. I took the battery out for about two hours, checked all the outlets in the house, and tested them all out with the charger. None of them worked. I was pissed. My phone won't work at all, and my dad said he'd send a new battery in a few days.

My dad really isn't reliable, so a few days means a few weeks... no one in my house has T-mobile like I do, and none of my neighbors or friends have the same charger as I do. I have no extra phones, and I think it is dangerous to go around without a cell phone that works and has service. My family is tight on money, and I can't buy a new battery or phone until a month or so. Any advice?

Do you have insurance on the phone. Insurance will cover the problem you are having with the phone. Ive had a few that has done that? Its just the charger or battery its just a malfunction in the phone. If you live in a rural area with low signal it could cause your battery to go low like that.

Q: I fight with her everyday and I just hate the way she acts. Sometimes I get on great with her other time I just hate her and never want to speak to her again like now. She always thinks she is right in everything even when I try to say something even if it about my life she has to have her input to it. And she thinks it should go that way. She also hardly says anything nice to me and talks bad bout my friends. Also when she asks wat I think of something and it's not the same as her she goes of the head and says well it's a good thing it not u getting it. She is older than me and thinks she can tell me what to do n try to act all big. Your older sister is probably just trying to help you like a an older sibling should to. Shes wanting to be a good sister and the polite way to go about it is take her advice you don't have to use it if you don't want to. Say thank you and move on. Family is going to be there for you for ever and dealing with their advice is the best thing to do. Explain to her you appreciate her advice but sometimes you'd like her to say something good about your life and you. Your living her life in away. She lived it and wants to help you prevent making little mistakes even though its your like you will never learn if you don't do it. Q: So, Im a 13 year old girl who cuts. I started at 11. Its nothing big. Im happy most of the time. Except at home. Im not looking for people judging. I have about 7 people i talk to about everything. But only 2 know it all. Im just wondering, what to do? How can i stop? Is there an easy way out? How do i avoid questions about scars? I stopped by using a pony tail or a rubber band and snapping it on my wrist. There are support groups for it. We had ove a dozen people doing it when I was in middle school. Somebody started rating people out. Being me. and I saved alot peoples lives by doing i they started getting help I had a mother call my phone and tell me thank you over and over again. it is big and important to stop harming your self is dangerous.

Q: for some reason, i get really nervous talking to certain people. im fine in groups of 3, but when it comes to one on one conversation i get really tense and can't ever think of what to say. sos! feels awful

You just have to change they way your mind is thinking. Keep talking to your self in your head that you can do it. You arn't going to be shy. It works for me. Im more confident than I have ever been.

Q: I'm 20 yrs old and it kills me dat ave neva had a serious relationship. I long for someone to just hold me and love. Guys neva ask me out and i know am not ugly so maybe its cos am shy. I feel so lonely sometimes, i cant even bear to watch romantic movies anymore.

You just have to keep thinking in you head you want to be out going and just do it. I have usually shy and my husband loves me but has wanted me to be more outgoing. So i been playing softball and volleyball with him I go to he bar once a month with him (we have kids so we dont go very often) and I dance when we are there and im 20 so im sober while doing it while everyone else is drunk.,

I'm just curious as to what you guys suggest - I've gotten into kind of a pickle.

My friend is getting married in August, and has asked me to be her Maid of Honor. I'm thrilled, of course, and beyond excited for her, but as my subject suggests, I'm... very broke. I hardly have an income right now, and I'm on my own. I'm working my butt off to finish school (I graduate in May), but I haven't found a new job yet. My parents help me financially when it's necessary, but any extra expense aside from my bills comes out of THEIR pockets.
My friend has asked her bridesmaids to pay for our own dresses, and while they are (just) under $50, that's two weeks of groceries for me...
There's nowhere for me to cut corners, and I'm a bit reluctant to ask my parents for more help. I don't know if I should talk to my friend about the extent of my situation, or...

What do you guys suggest?

You are the maid of honor so i imagine she is like your best friend? Talk to her. stop stressing out. A young person living on their own finishing school you are juggling a lot and a dress to that is just crazy. Explain to her your situation. I am sure she will understand and maybe she can pay half and your parents can pay half just explain this is a chance in a life time.
