iknow that marshalls have brand cloths like ae and abercrombie and express and stuff like that but i was wondering if they have any hoodies from ae or abercrombie there for less money? anyone know
I don't think I've seen Abercrombie yet at Marshalls, but I've DEFINITELY seen AE hoodies there for cheaper than they sell at the actual store. Only difference is that the sweatshirts there are usually from last season--but who even cares--a sweatshirt is a sweatshirt. Actually, though, when AE's sweatshirts go on sale they're pretty cheap in the actual store on the sale rack ($15,$20, sometimes even $10!!)

Alrighty, so I have liked this guy since this summer. when we met, he still had a girlfriend but now, they broke up. Well, his best girl friend came up to me and said "you should just ask him out...you know that you both like each other..." So my question is, how do i ask him out? I have never done that before, so I was wondering how to go about it.

OK- I want to answer the question you actually asked, and I will, but before anything happens I just want to advise you this much. It is fine if you feel confident and ask this guy out; but the reason I don't suggest the girl asking the guy out is not because I'm old-fashioned but because that's letting the guy make you initiate. If he says yes, that'll start off a whole relationship where you're constantly chasing after him because he knows you'll do it too. I suggest that you wait for him to ask you out--if he knows you like him. If it works best for you to ask him out, that's fine. You could ask him out in private if that were better, like hanging out at your house or something. Just pop the question, be like "Let's go out" in a cute way and if he asks you if your joking just shake your head no.
What are some really good love books? For young girls. That make you say like "awww!! how cute!" and it just makes you read them over and over. :) Any book will do though. Thank you . :)
The Notebook and Message in a Bottle, both by Nicholas Sparks. Both are movies too, I'm sure if you're into romance you've seen the Notebook :]. The book is very different and remember it's always going to vary from the movie which is a visual thing compared to literature. Give it a shot. Also, "Timeless Love" was a book I read a little while back, but I thought it was amazing! This girl goes from modern day way back to like the 1600's or something and falls in love with a guy that doesn't even live in her time period. It's really cool! And if your going for classic (it's an older book maybe written in the 40's or 30's or something?? "Rebecca" by Daphne DuMaurier is an amazing book and/or movie. I've watched the movie several times my cousin and I have made tradition out of that movie, we love it.

I'd say it's pretty much similar but some people define it differently. Going out is being officially together and you cannot see/kiss/be involved with anybody else, basically your exclusive. Dating is just like going out on dates and seeing how you feel about that other person. But, I see them as meaning the same thing. I guess it depends who you are and what you're referring too.
Ok, I know this sounds lame, but I think boys don't like me. I haven't had a boyfriend for a bit longer than a year. I even tried asking some guys out and they said no. It just makes me feel like they don't like me. I'm nice, athletic, funny, cool, and all that stuff. I tried being patient, but it's not working. I found in life the more you're LOOKING for a boyfriend, the less likely you are to "find" one. There not something you need, make sure you tell yourself that. Sure, it's nice to have, but everyone sees dating as the most important thing ever. When really, that's not how it is. Enjoy being single & free because there's tons of people for everybody, it just depends who you meet first. And trust me--you WILL meet atleast one of them. I know you said you tried being patient--which is good. But you can't be patient for 2 weeks and think your chances with boys are over. There might be someone out there who even likes you but is too shy to say or just doesnt want a girlfriend. Also--about asking guys out--I'm not trying to be too old-fashioned, but wait for guys to ask you out. In a relationship, make a guy pursue you. Otherwise, when you start dating it's going to always be YOU making the plans and YOU calling him on the phone and it won't feel special. The more you help yourself to stop "needing" a boyfriend...the more confident you will look...and then you are more likely to actually find one. But you need to stop looking genuinely, because if you "stop looking" for 2 weeks and get tired of it your only going to anger yourself. Good Luck!!

Well, try clipping the hair on the top layer up initially so you can straighten the underneath pieces easier. Take longer for each strand and give yourself enough time to do it. If this doesn't work, get a new straightener.
ok.. heres the thing.. about a year ago.. i met this guy.. and we liked each other so we went out a couple of months but we didnt get to be "boyfriend&girlfriend" by the third month things didnt work out.. so we stopped dating.. and i felt hurt because he just stop calling.. so i didnt want to talk to him again.. so i moved on.. after that.. my best friend that during that year was in another country in her exchange student year.. she knew everything.. i mean i told her, by mail, or by phone (because of the fact that she was too many miles away), soooo.. she wasnt here.. but she knew anyway because I told her.. after that.. in august she came back and they met and they got along very well.. so now they are dating.. but like boyfriend and girlfriend!!!.. i just couldnt believe it.. i got so mad.. i dont talk to her anymore.. because i felt very betrayed.. its like.. according to me.. that;s like a "friends rule" it doesnt matter if u didnt get to be his girlfriend, right? but i dunno what to do.. because like she is my best friend in the whole world.. we've known each other for a long long time.. we've been together through very hard times.. and i really dont want to lose her.. but it really hurt what she didnt.. i think that she didnt care about our friendship enough to stop dating himm.. i dont know what to dooo! please heeeeelp.. should i forgive her? or what should i do??
Well, see, here's the thing. If she has been your friend for a long while, you can't give her up now. Sure there's hurt...but you need to tell her that! Not ignore her or isolate yourself. She might've figured that you were over him. Maybe it would've been more appropriate for her to ask you how you felt, but who knows. Not everybody is the same on that rule. It's not like she stole him from you. You and that guy weren't/aren't together. She might think your way done with him. The best thing to do would invite her over or call her up and tell her the truth about how you feel...explain it calmly so you guys don't have to fight. Make sure it's clear to her that you don't want to lose her friendship. Good Luck!
Well I'm 16 and female.
Well I know that it is somewhat expected that siblings will be jealous of each other but how long is it supposed to last? I have a sister who is slightly less than 2 years younger than me and I have been jealous of her ever since she could walk. She is always the pretty one, the athletic one, the funny one, the outgoing one. She even got a boyfriend before I did. My sister and I are basically complete opposites and we don't get along. I've always thought she was perfect and I was nothing. She always gets asked to dance at school dances while I sit in the corner and cry. Maybe I'm just a bit too emotional. My mom says that in many ways I'm better than my lil sister but I don't believe it. Is there any way for me to stop being jealous of my sister?
I am very sorry you feel this way. I know it's tough to be jealous of someone, especially someone you live with. Don't let it get you down though! Everyone has their strong points, and it seems like your sister has that outgoing trait. There is no way to completely cease your jealousy, but maybe, if you learn to like yourself a little better, the jealousy will dim out. Try and seek your own strong points. Both physically and emotionally. Are you caring, do you have unusually pretty eyes,charismatic, a good reader/writer?? Any of those...there has to be something your good at. Everyone is unsatisfied with their own appearance in some aspect or another whether or not they admit it. I'm sure there's something your sister can't stand about herself...there's got to be something. I'm sorry you guys don't get a long...my sister is 2 years older than me too and we seem to get along pretty well. Sure, we fight. But, sometimes we go out and have dinner together...or watch a movie...do eachother's hair/makeup. Try and get along with your sister, possibly hanging out with her or something, you might learn to be less jealous. The closer you are to her, the easier it will be to see her weaknesses. Everyone has them, and it's nothing to be ashamed of either. I'm sure there's some beauty in you. Just look in a mirror and keep telling yourself "I am a pretty girl" you'll find something you like about yourself. :)
There is this guy that I am IN LOVE with. The problem is, is that he is my Ex. He looks 'SORTA' like Billie Joe Armstrong and this guy that I used to like. Me and him last night were talking at one his ballgames and I said "Kody, Fuck You" But I was just joking though and he knew it. Then he said "Yeah I know you do. But 'we' can't here" And I was about to die. And I said "hahahaha Very Funny Kody." Cause I knew he was joking. There is times were he will walk me to the bus and be as happy as anything. But then theirs times when he never talks to me. Like tonight at another ballgame. He saw me sitting with another guy, Jay and I think he 'sorta' got mamd and left after his game. He always stares at me and also tonight. I was cryin cause my cat died and he was like "Whats wrong?" and I said "My cat died" andn he said "Well uh.. How did it die?" and I told him and he said "well its better off now". I don't know whats up with him. Well...you're going to want to be careful with your heart. I mean, whether or not you love him, if he left you because he liked someone else...maybe his feelings weren't strong enough. If he is not a naturally flirty guy, I would say that he has feelings for you. It's good he's single..it leaves your options open. It's kinda insensitive he said that thing about your cat, which I am genuinely sorry for you, because I have 3 cats and love them to death. Maybe he figured since it was an animals death it isn't as big a deal...but it was your pet :(. He doesn't sound like he's the most sweet person around, but, if you really love him I'd suggest hanging out with him more often. Like, if you can, try and get him alone, see what happens or what he does. You'll most likely know then whether or not he likes you. And if he was jealous because of the Jay guy then I guess that's sort of a good sign because it shows he still sort of has feelings for you.

Ok. So I like my eyes and all but when guys try to get me to go out with them just by telling me that they like my eyes it totally turns me off even if the guy is really hott or nice. Here is an example of what most guys say: "Your eyes have taken over my soul."

You never know, some people are quite attracted to eyes because it's an endearing part of the human body. It really draws people in. But yes, in a lot of cases, it's simply seen as a pick-up line. To be honest, no, most guys cannot come up with original things because unlike girls they're not mushy-gushy. Honestly. The nature of guys is all about physical love where a girl likes to be emotionally loved. Any guy is perfectly good at saying "you have a nice ass" rather than "your beauty makes me tremble" or something like that.
My ex and I broke up a little while ago. It was my decision. It was mostly because he lives a while away and I only get to see him on weekends. Well, it's better to feel "weird" then to be faking something when all along your not really feeling it. Don't leave the on you LOVE for the one you LIKE because the one you LIKE will leave you for the one they LOVE. In other words, if you love the guy your with, stay with him. Since that doesn't seem to be the case follow your heart because it's not fair to your current boyfriend to be pretending hes the one when all along your really not feeling that way.

I'm babysitting my next-foor neighbor's 3 kids. They are 10, 6, and 2. This is my first time babysitting on my own and I`m a little nervous. What should I do to keep them busy? What do I do if they begin to fight with each other, or one starts to cry? Any tips?
Hey, I babysit too. Well, here's some tips from my experience. I've babysat neighbours before too and it is very handy and a good first job. If there ever were an emergency your right next to your own home w/ your parents and stuff. Don't be too nervous...not all kids are terrible. Kids WILL be kids though and you never know. To keep them busy-- I find it easiest to suggest a movie while I'm babysitting. They don't always accept that, which you have to understand because sometimes they're excited you're over and they want to play with their babysitter. If the kids start fighting over a material object, just take it away and tell them that no one can have it unless they share. Be gentle in telling them that though. No need to raise your voice, because it may get back to their parents. Make sure you don't go on the phone because some kids are very observant and might tell their parents later, and the parents don't want to pay you to ignore the kids. From experience, I've noticed when kids cry, unless it involves an injury, it is very short-lived. If one starts to cry just rub their back and try and make them laugh. If they fight with eachother over something verbally, simply say "OK guys, let's not fight. Tonight is supposed to be fun!". Kids like the idea of fun. Don't let any one of them leave the room without you unless they tell you where they are going. I know it might sound a little TOO strict but otherwise they might hide or get hurt and not be able to have you access them which could be tricky. If you have to put them to sleep, suggest some books or a movie if they have a DVD player in their bedrooms, and if they give you a difficult time about the actual sleeping, just tell them "you don't have to go to sleep. Just lay on your bed and play with stuffed animals." Something like that. If you think one of them is lying to you about what time they can go to bed or what sort of TV show they can watch, just say "What will Mommy/Daddy say if I ask them?" and the kids usually don't want to get caught in a lie and give up. Or if a kid is misbehaving you can tell them "I don't want to have to tell Mommy you were bad...please behave." Really, it's not a big deal at all, I've been doing it for three or four years now. You should be fine, and the pay is very rewarding, it's really a simple job in most cases.

Try a new foundation. Some products work better than others and remember you get what you pay for. In other words, the more you spend, the better results from the product.

This question happens to be very self explanitory. Treat her well. There's no way to COMPLETELY "keep her happy" like a dog or a cat. She's not a pet. People break up with people for unreasonable things. But, I'm not trying to burst your bubble.

Your right, it's not your fault. If he won't date you because of your weight, he's low. I know it might not be as easy as all that to label him a jerk and move on, but he's honestly not worth your time. Even if he did decided he liked you, it just shows how he'd act during a relationship. LOW. It could be possible that he was using your weight as an excuse because he didn't know how else to express to your friend why he didn't like you. When it comes right down, not all people have a reason to NOT like people. It's just their feelings torwards a specific person. There's not always a reason.
Well christmas is coming up and i think i know what im doing for my Girlfriend, if you have read my past questions, i'm doing this thing, i get a vase with 11 roses in it, and one glass rose in it. And a card on it that says "when the last rose dies is when i will stop loving you" Hence... a glass rose wont die. the 11 roses thing is OK...but I'm just warning you...it depends on how serious you are. Would it be a lie or too soon in the relationship to say you'll NEVER stop loving her. Because maybe I'm just a little old-fashioned but do you REALLY think you'll be with her forever? I know a lot of guys that say "I'm in love with her, I'll never break up with her" blahblahblahblah...but do you seriously mean it? You can get a silver necklace at so many places, depends what quality you want to get her. If you're getting her something expensive, Tiffany. But I'm guessing that's out of your price range. Just get it at Macy's or one of those Jewelry kiasks they have in the middle of the mall.
