Question Posted Tuesday November 22 2005, 6:27 pm

What are some really good love books? For young girls. That make you say like "awww!! how cute!" and it just makes you read them over and over. :) Any book will do though. Thank you . :)

Any book by Sarah Dessen. They are all so adorable and there is always something realistic that you can relate to. I believe I've read all of her books and I've loved every one of them.

I LOVE the book All-American Girl by Meg Cabot.

I relate to Sam oh-so-much, it's actually quite scary.

But really, it IS a good book. In fact, all of Meg Cabot's books are good. I would also suggest the Princess Diaries by her.

The Notebook and Message in a Bottle, both by Nicholas Sparks. Both are movies too, I'm sure if you're into romance you've seen the Notebook :]. The book is very different and remember it's always going to vary from the movie which is a visual thing compared to literature. Give it a shot. Also, "Timeless Love" was a book I read a little while back, but I thought it was amazing! This girl goes from modern day way back to like the 1600's or something and falls in love with a guy that doesn't even live in her time period. It's really cool! And if your going for classic (it's an older book maybe written in the 40's or 30's or something?? "Rebecca" by Daphne DuMaurier is an amazing book and/or movie. I've watched the movie several times my cousin and I have made tradition out of that movie, we love it.

Belladonna answered Tuesday November 22 2005, 6:56 pm:
Anything by Nicholas Sparks. Especially a Walk to Remember.

The Bridges of Madison Country is great too.

Also, The Virgin suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides is a wonderful book.. however it's not a very happy love story. But its a terrific book especially for teenage girls.

And if you like victorian goth romance, check out some Jane Austen or some books by the Bronte sisters. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte is great, as is Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. They are classic romance stories that you can't miss.

Happy reading.

I don't read, but for English last year I had to for like a grade, so I chose "The notebook." & I was so mad because it looked stupid! But it's like the best love book ever, and I recommend it. It's 100x better then the movie! (:
