When my husband and I were first married, he promised me that if we ever had children, he would get out of the army. Two children later, he still hasn't gotten out.
The army has ended up being his life. He loves his job and has informed me that he is never getting out. He feels like his country needs him. I think this is very selfish of him to break his promise to me. The children barely know who their own father is. I feel like a single mother.
While he was in Iraq the second time, I wrote him a letter telling him I couldn't take it anymore and I was filing for divorce. I told him when he got back that I did not mean what I had said and that I was just going through a hard time with the pregnancy. Now three months after the birth of our second child, he is going back to Iraq.
I really do not want to leave this man. I love him dearly; he is my husband and the father of my children. My parents went through a divorce when I was a little girl, so I know how traumatic it is for a child.
It's hard for me to fight with him over this. The precious time he is here, I do not want to fight with him and bring up this issue. I want us to be happy with our time together and act like a family when he is here. I do not want him leaving to go to Iraq thinking that his wife might leave him. But sometimes, I feel like this relationship is just too difficult to take anymore.
What should I do? How do I cope with this? (link)

Wow, I take my hat off to you for the devotion you show to your husband.
My mother was a military wife too and my Dad used to go away for long undefined periods of time,
I asked her how she coped and she honestly couldn't give me an answer.
Your husband obviously loves his career although I doubt in his deepest heart of hearts he loves it more than he loves you and his children.
If I were you then I would write him another letter and explain that although you are proud of him for the service that he is doing for his country that you and the children miss him and you want him home.
How is your relationship when he is home? Do you get on O.K?
I am not really sure I can offer you anymore advice than this as I feel like I am way out of my depth with this one. It's a tough decision you have to make but I think you have already made it - you love your husband and don't want a divorce, so you have to hang in there in the hope that he will change his mind in the future.

I am not sure how old you have to be in the USA but in the UK I am pretty sure that it is 14.
If you are using sunbeds make sure you use lotion, even though it is a sunbed it can still damage your skin and you DEFINITELY don't want to end up looking like a shrivelled pruned by the time you are 20! Don't overdo it either!

It sounds like he sucked a little too hard and gave you the equivalent of a hickey on your nipple!!
Tell him to be a little more gentle next time!
As for the scab, don't worry about it it will heal pretty quickly, keep it clean and dry and whatever you do don't pick it!

Hey there!
Dontcha just hate razor burn!!
The best thing you can use is shaving gel, a sharp razor and afterward apply a damp hot towel for a few minutesd - this makes the pores open slightly so you won't get half as many bumps the day after as it enables the hair that is just under the skin to escape - which is waht creates the bumps!
The best thing I have found that soothes razor burn is Vitamin e cream. It is relatively cheap and you can get it in most drugstores.
Another thing that will stop you from getting bumps is to wait until you have at LEAST 3-5MM of regrowth before you do it again otherwise you may find that each time you do it the bumps get worse because the hairs get even more ingrown.

The easiest thing to write about is something that has actually happened to you as you know all the details already and don't have to think them up.
You don't have to tell everybody that it is a personal story unless you want to.
In my English exam we had to write a 2000 word story about a person that we admired and I wrote about a girl I used to know who was killed in a car accident and I got an A!
If you write from the heart and with conviction then you will almost definitely get a good grade!

If I were you and you do still like him sit down and talk to him about it - you never know he might be in just the same predicament as you - not knowing how to go about it!
The cup thing is a definite sign you still have feelings for him. If you like him tell him, if he doesn't want to go back out with you then you can still be mates but if he does then you'll have your BF back. I'd do it quickly too because you may not get the chance if he meets someone else he really likes!

Hi there,
Some of the main aspects are making sure that everyone within the industrial site is trained to use the equipment that they use, that they have the correct safety equipment (this could be goggles, gloves, almost definitely safety boots, high-visibility jackets etc)
Knowing who the first aider is, knowing what to do in the event of a fire and stuff like that.
It all depends on the site that you are talking about as some of them have very different health and safety policies to others.

Hiya,
If I were you the best thing to do when in the middle of an argument and he says "Fuck Off" is walk away.
If someone says something like that to you then my guess is that they are really angry and you won't get anything resolved between the 2 of you while one or both of you are angry or upset.
If he asks where you are going when you walk away then calmly say to him that you don't want to speak to him while he is in this frame of mind and tell him to give you a call or text when he's calmed down.
This way it gives him time to think about what he's done and that he's upset you and the majority of the time he'll apologise!

okay well lately the area around my vagina has been really itchy. like since firday (today is wensday). its like really sore and pinker than usual. i told my mom but she didnt think anything of it. she thought it was a reaction to the soap so i tried the kind i used before and it still is like this. before my discharge was just white but now its like yellow and smells gross. should i go see a doctor and if so what do they do? and what should i do/not do before going?

Just out of curiosity have you taken any anti-biotics recently or been run-down?
If so then my money would be on you having thrush which is a really nasty itchy yeast infection. It's quite common and lot's of girls get it (I have it everytime I use anti-biotics!)
The best thing you can do is go to your doctor/gynae and they will be able to diagnose it properly.
In the mean time go and buy a tube of Canesten (Not sure whether you get it in the US but we have it in the UK) It's a cream designed for thrush and will stop the burning sensation, it won't do you any harm and irritate you more if it isn't thrush but it's worth a go!

theres a guy that I really like. We havent slept together yet but I was hoping that one day we could be more than friends. Anyways I just found out from one of his friends that he spent a year in jail when he was 18, but wouldnt tell me what for. Anyways, that was a long time ago, he is in his 40's now.
He is a really nice guy and I know he would never hurt me. But I'm really curious as to why he was in jail.

It depends how much it it bugging you not knowing.
If it was only a year he was in jail for then chances are it is nothing serious.
If I were you I'd be inclined not to believe it unless the details came straight from the horses mouth.
I've been in situations before where I have listened to details given to me by outside influences and lost someone really special because of it.
If he thinks it is something serious then I'm sure he will tell you in his own time, I wouldn't push it though as it is obviously not something he is proud of and if he's not been back to jail then chances are he has changed his ways!

hey, i was wondering if weed will show up in a blood test. I'm probably going to have one for something completely un-related to drugs. i mean like, they aren't looking for weed or anything. So, i guess i'm wondering if it will show up at all and if they have to be specifically looking for it to find it. How long does it stay in your system? I've heard 38 days, but i've only smoked twice (yesterday and three days ago) and i didn't smoke very much at all. Between both days, i probably didn't even have a bowl. Thanks (link)

It will only show up in your test if they are specifically looking for it.
There are so many things that can be detected in blood that normally doctors only search your blood sample for what they are looking for!
I wouldn't stress out about it too much!!

DON'T POP IT!! If you do it'll scab over then you'll have a big ugly scab!!
The best thing to do it's to clean it with warm water and then dab on hydrogen peroxide. If you skin is too sensitive for harsh chemicals then dab on a little tee tree oil!
This normall dries them out overnight!
Also make sure you don't touch it then touch anywhere else as it may spread the bacteria and give you another!

HIya,
Unfortunately there's not much you can do except put lotion on it and wait for the burn to die down!
Vitamin E cream is good and not too expensive.
To prevent razorburn in future make sure you use a lubricant, ie: shaving foam or gel, if you don't have any handy then hair conditioner isn't a bad emergency substitute!!

First of all, ignore cutie, it is not cancer!!
Like people before have said most girl when they start to mature physically get these little bumps.
They are not harmful and although they aren't great to look at they will most likely go away after puberty (although some peoples don't)
If your Mom doesn't think that they are anything to worry about then chances are shes right! If you are really worried though then get her to take you to the doctors to get them checked out.
