My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.


My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

advice

I wash my face daily, drink alot of water, and eat the right foods. My problem is, I have a VERY oily face (especially at my nose). The pores on my nose are extremely large and I have blackheads there. I try using products to get rid of it all, nothing seems to work. Any ideas on what I could do? I will rate.

well i dont know of anything that works but i do recommend trying oxy pads. they dont get rid of acne well but they help keep your face dry and i would recomend washing your face with a face soap (not a scrub)in the shower. and make sure you get all the makeup off your face at night!

i dont think so. i mean they are both expensive but its your dad and if he were getting you twice that i would say you were spoiled but i dont think that is that much.

I'm a high school sophomore. I've been playing volleyball for travel ever since I was in 7th grade. This year, I haven't really been interested in playing volleyball. I didn't try out this year for club, but they have an opening for me. My dad's heart is set on me playing volleyball, but it doesn't interest me anymore. When I told him I didnt want to try out, he got really mad at me. Should I play travel or not? I don't want to but it would make my dad happy. If not, what should I say to him that won't make him upset or mad at me? Please help!

i would stick with it for atleast another year just to make sure you dont want to play it anymore. you dont what to quit something and regret it later

i babysit for this family once in a while & they called me a few days ago to babysit on this coming friday, but i can't. then the lady called today and was like "I know you said you can't babysit, but I am really desprate, so I was wondering if you knew anyone who would be able to?" So I told her I'd ask a few people and let her know if someone could. So I asked a few people, but none of them can either. I feel bad for his lady (even though it's not my fault or problem) but I don't know if I should still call her back. I would feel weird being like "sorry i couldn't find anyone" and leaving her with no one at all, but I would also feel guilty if I didn't call. Should I still call even though I didn't find anyone, & if so, what should I say?

you should call her back even if you didnt find anyone just because she will think of you are more mature. try to get out of your plans if you can or if your going out with your friends see if you can bring one babysitting with you. if there isnt a way tell her you can babysit some other day (if shes going out like to get her hair done) and you are really really sorry

My hair is such a hassle. It's naturally wavy and frizzy. I try blow-drying it straight, but it just makes it more frizzy and ends up being wavy again by the end of the day. I like it best when I let it air dry because it gets some curl, but it is still is sort of frizzy. I've tried some different products, but they make my hair look greasy and weigh it down. So I was wanting any tips on how to keep the frizziness down without smoothing out my curls. Thanks!

well i just use cell and it works wonders. i recomend gels that are like 10x. they weight hair down but they are super strong hold to hold in the curl!

So I am 15 years old and I am 5'3 I currently weigh 215 lbs. I would really like to be about 140 by the first of June ( you know summer time )
I work out maybe twice a week for about an hour at a time. I don't drink and pop at all and I replace school lunch with a salad. Is there anyway possible to loose 60-75 lbs in 6 months? I would even be satisfied with 50. I really want this. I work alot and don't have alot of time for working out for such. And I have alot of dairy in my regular diet. I rate 5's!! please I would really appresheate all your help.

i think you could but i would recomend not taking meat out of your diet! like have a chicken salad. it will help you loose weight! also try cutting down on the dairy like skim milk! now dont be surprised if you arent seeing results right away! it takes time. and make sure your not loosing more than like 10lbs a week. it could make you sick!

well i learned if you have sex w/a guy in college it hurts less than with a hs guy because they are more expirience even if they are still a virgin or whatever.

I was on Depo provera for 4 years - I stopped getting my shots about 8 months ago. I was having a period every 5 days for 3 days length. I had unprotected sex twice while I was on a "period" they have now stopped it has been 3 weeks since I have bled at all. My nipples are slightly sensitive but they have not darkened like they did when I was pregnant before. Is there a chance I could be pregnant? If so I would only be a couple of weeks pregnant , would symptoms be starting already?

everytime you have sex there is a chance you are pregnant. symptoms should have started if you are but they dont have to have

I was wondering which magazines write true stories..and which ones make them up..(ex: People magazine, InTouch, Life&Style, Star, etc) How do I know which magazine would be a waste of time to read?

well i can tell you people is pretty real. all mag. arent 100% true. although i havent read anything untrue in people. i would think mag that focus completely on just celebs lives will have some false info in them. there arent really any that i would say stay away from. i would recommend just dont believe everything you read!

okay i have an ipod mini and i downloaded 3 songs that i want on it, and those songs are on my library on itunes. but when i try to press "update songs on ipod", i cant, or when i can it doesnt update them at all. (this has just been happening since yesterday). and i tried taking off another song to see if the ipod would update then...but it still wouldnt =[ also, i charged it last night so the cord is fine. what do i do??

that is weird. did you make sure your thing isnt full? if you have a warranty i would recomend sending it back and having it looked at. if not wait a few days. it might just be your comp

i'm going to a green day concert in december and i realise there'll be thousands of people there but my friend and i were wondering whether there is ANY CHANCE of getting our cd signed. like, could we leave it with security guards and pick it up later?? or wait around long enough afterwards and go ask the band ourselves?? i dunno, we're not too fussed but we're wondering whether to try or not. thanks.

i would say no unless you got backstage passes or whatever. you might what to bring whatever you want signed just in case but your chances are very low

they did stop making them! they replaced them with the nano because the mini's very having problems. i bet on the web somewhere you can find them though. did you try ebay?

Okay, im only 14 and i wanna have a baby SO bad. My parents dont really love me((ive been told)) so i think this would help me alot. i've babysat for YEARS and LOVE children. I wanna feel loved when i come home and a baby would do that, and i think teen moms are closer to their kids. I plan on gettin pregnant in 10th or 11th grade.Am i making a mistake by wanting to do this.

thats no excuse for love! if you want love get a puppy! dont have a baby just because you want to be loved... and from expirience i think alot of teen moms are not nearly as close there parents as kids are that have parents in their 20s and 30s.

I know that to be a great singer you need a voice coach, but about how much can you do without a voice coach. I'm in an Advanced Choir, and I learn a lot there, but I can't afford more than that?

alot of people have been great singers without voice coaches! i mean look at american idol alot of them make it on the show without any coaching at all. what i would do is recommend getting involved in school musicals in your community or even some chior teachers will give you private lessons for very little money. what my sister did was for band was have a hs senior give her private lessons cheaply and i bet you can do that with chior too!

I just tried redownloading Sims 2, and it says -

"A problem occured while trying to transfer the file 'TSData\Res\Sound\Sfx1.package'. Do you want to retry to copy the file or cancel the installation.

I tried to restart my computer, clean off the disk, and try the installation over. It does the same thing. I've downloaded this before on my computer, so I don't see why it's doing this now. Any ideas?

go into your comp and make sure you got rid of EVERYTHING from the game including custom downloads

okay i have perfect teeth, and have never had a cavity, but today they are pulling this one baby tooth that never came out because the bigger tooth is coming in above it. well more like it came out above it. but i really like it, but the things is if the baby tooth comes out ill have a gap and ill be screwed. see, i really dont what them to pull it because then ill have braces, and i really dont want them. {it doesnt even look bad. and i like it!} should i nevous about this or am i just being dumb? ~ace

well if they dont take it out it will prob eventually fall out anyways and the early you get braces the better

you can always tell i have coverup on. especially on my nose, forhead, chin, and the area around the corners of my mouth. how can i get rid of this and make my make-up look more natural?

well your only supose to put that on where you need it not your whole face maybe thats it


i recommend using powder foundation or finish powder. it looks so much better and it doesnt leave weird lines

thats not fat at all. im the same height as you and only a few pounds lighter than you and everyone says i am soo skinny so i think you have nothing to worry about
