you can always tell i have coverup on. especially on my nose, forhead, chin, and the area around the corners of my mouth. how can i get rid of this and make my make-up look more natural?
xO_aLex_xO answered Wednesday November 30 2005, 4:56 pm: its probably the wrong color..go to the store and get a color closer to your actual skin tone.also certin stores sell foundation brushes- they work better than sponges..if you are applying to your whole face make sure you do your neck a little too because it looks fake if you have two tones of skin..

I think that since you're having trouble, that you should do the powder cover-up. In my opinion, it looks more natural.. and if you mess up putting it on, it doesn't take long at all to remove it.
But putting it on, I'd say you put as little as you can on. Most of the time when talking about make-up, less is more. When I put my cover-up on, I focus on two spots that i think is most important.. Nose and forehead. Also, if your putting on cover-up.. then I'm assuming you have something to hide. (I doubt it ;]) So I'd also say that you should get some facial clenser, just incase. My biggest tip is to carefully run your hand over your face, to smooth and even out the cover-up.
Siren_Cytherea answered Tuesday November 29 2005, 3:36 pm: There could be a few reasons for that - the coverup you use might not be the right color for you, or maybe not the right kind of coverup. It also depends on what you use to put it on. Sometimes brushes work better than fingers, or vice versa.
What you might try doing is brushing a little powder over the concealer, and the rest of your face to blend it a bit.
Or, try a different concealer. Clinique Airbrush Concealer is what I use and you can never see it. I used something else before and it was always visible and almost cakey. Lol.
I would try the powder idea first, and if it doesn't work switch brands or styles.
I hope this helps!

malibubarbiie111 answered Tuesday November 29 2005, 3:30 pm: i have that same problem in the winter. it`s because the oil smudges your makeup. try those oil absobing sheets [[dap them, don`t rub!!]] then add a powder type foundation. works for me. =] [ malibubarbiie111's advice column | Ask malibubarbiie111 A Question ]
