Oily face..

Question Posted Saturday December 3 2005, 1:26 pm

I wash my face daily, drink alot of water, and eat the right foods. My problem is, I have a VERY oily face (especially at my nose). The pores on my nose are extremely large and I have blackheads there. I try using products to get rid of it all, nothing seems to work. Any ideas on what I could do? I will rate.

My face gets oily often too. Use dove soap on a washcloth, wash your face, and dry off on a dry towel. Skip the rinsing step. Only do this every other day though, or your face may become too dry. It may not work right away, give it a couple days. I also use medicine. Go to the doctor and get a prescription mad for you that helps acne.

well i dont know of anything that works but i do recommend trying oxy pads. they dont get rid of acne well but they help keep your face dry and i would recomend washing your face with a face soap (not a scrub)in the shower. and make sure you get all the makeup off your face at night!

Any Biore products do work.
Look for something that says something about blackheads, and also for the oily face you can get the Biore "Shine control foaming cleanser". That works really good. I like it.

For pores you can get the Biore "Pore unclogging scrub", my friend has it && she says it works good && her pores aren't almost even there! I guess it works good! =)

For the blackheads, you can get the Biore blackhead strips. It comes in a little box and instructions for dumb people like me =P. I used it and it kind of hurts, it made my eyes all watery lol =(. Also for blackheads you can use "Warming Anti-Blackhead cream cleanser". I LOVE THAT ONE! It works soo good && its hot! It actually heats up your face && prevents new blackheads for forming.

I know i said alot of Biore stuff. But i like Biore && i think it works =)

well, i have a similar problem
the answer below, ive never heard of it, but give it a try,
what i do,(not all at the same time, i switch it up every day or every other day) i was my face with soap and water, or i use clearasil/oxy pads, i also use Biore Products, they work good.
If you wear make up, use oil free, like bare minerals, that stuff is great, but it can be expensive, depending on what it is you get exactly, i know the whole kit is around $40.
you can go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and find out some things, and probably find out some good information on what you can do or use.
hope this helped ♥

Ok, i have one thing that opens your pores for your blackheads.

Boil cool water until it steams. Take a towel and cover your head while you put your face in front of the steaming water. Stay there for about 30 minutes and afterwards your pores will be open. Then you can poke em out, lmao.

It worked for me. Just be patient, it's not going to work a whole lot but will still help a bit.
