My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

Well yeah. It's weird if you just talk and you're not looking straight at the person but eye contact is really good. =]

Well, there are some shallow guys out there that wouldn't ask a girl out for that reason, but no one needs a jerk like that anyways. Some guys don't care about how a girl looks and it doesn't matter to them but to other guys, apperance is the main thing. It it a reason for someone to not ask a girl out but it's lame and not all guys are the same and besides, almost everyone has a little pot belly.

hey teza i have a ? ok well im 15/f. could you get pregnet by using birth control pills and a condom? or its a lower risk? but where could you get birth control pills without your parents knowing because some of my friends got them without knowing. thanks a lot!

Anything is possible but it is a lower risk. I honestly don't know how you can get birth control pills without and adult, but since your friends know, just talk to them.

does it just make you look like tan or something?

Bronzer just gives color to your skin and it does make you tan.

ok well i have a myspace and i met this really hot kid from it, his name is steve.. and hes 16 and lives in another city not to far from where i live. some people i know, know him and told me about him and hes fake and stuff.. but he seems pretty cool and he says like that we should hang out and hook up, (i told him i was only 13 and he said he didnt care tho)- cause iguess he thinks im awesome and pretty hot. well do you think that would be bad? i doubt it'd happen but just incase

Yeah I think it's bad. First of all, never trust anyone over the internet. That's actually the great thing about it. People can be anyone who they want to and no one knows the truth. I know you might of heard this before, but there are tons of sick men out there doing things like that. Myspace is really dangerous because old men pretend to be younger guys talking to girls asking to meet up and hook up and everytime that happened, the girls ended up dead. If you're smart, don't get too involved with him. If you can't stop talking to him, just don't give him any personal information no matter who he is.

Okay i am haveing total boy problems like usual. Here it goes. Okay there is this boy that i have known for 4 years and we have gone out sooo many times. i met him when i was 8 and he was really ignorant to me then. but we grew more mature and started dateing again after a year and like 7 months. well he has this thing about treated me badly,getting mad super easy,saying mean things to me and i just couldn't take it. we went out like 5 times this summer already . My best friend thinks i need to get over him and move on cause there are alot of other guys who like me but i can;t seem to get over him at all. Now his best friend really likes me and we went out but it only lasted like 2 days. He is my BEST FRIEND now and i love him to death but everyone thinks i need to go out with him. I don't know what to do. He is a total sweetheart and will do anything and everything just to spend time with me. But something about likeing him scares me. I don't know. I just can't like my best friend but its hard not to. What should i do Teza ? I really like the boy i known for 4 years and i know he likes me back but he just has trouble showing it. I am so scared and i am confused please help me !!

What people want and think is best for you is their opinion but no one know's what's best for you besides yourself. You and this guy that you've known for 4 years seem to have a difficult and confusing relationship. He hurt you a lot in the past and I honestly think that he will continue being like that. His way of showing how he likes you is all wrong. You guys had a thing going on but I agree with your best friend. You should move on. Yeah, you might really like this kid but he doesn't seem to make you happy. Even thought you're best friends with his best friend, you should give him a chance and see how it works out. Nothing can ruin the relationship unless both of you chose to. If it doesn't work out being "boy friend and girl friend", go back to being friends. It might feel akward but if you guys are best friends, you wouldn't let a silly think ruin that friendship. So give this guy a chance and spend some time away from the other guy. If he asks you out again, say no because you will keep going through the same thing over and over.

I have two questions..
1. i want to loose a little bit of weight. If i run 45-60 minutes a day and eat good food...about how much weight will i loose a week?

2. when i run on my treadmill, i get really bored and its really hard for me to run a long time. Do you have any ideas on what i could do to keep me entertained???

With that rutine you should loose about 1-3 pounds a week. Sometimes you won't loose any and that's fine too. When you're running, put on some music or listen to your iPod or cd player. I also get bored so I listen to my iPod and it's not as boring. You can also do other exercises.

Birthday ideas are always frustrating and it's hard to pick what you want to do. Anyway, no matter what you do, you will have fun with your friends. You should have a little party at your house. If it's an apartment, have at least 15 people or something. Invite boys and girls. Have music, food, and once everyones there, people will entertain themselves. You can also rent a limo. =] It's not that expensive and have couple of your closest friends go out somewhere. Later, have a sleep over. The funnest thing is just when you have your best friends over and you have a girls day basiclly. At my 13th or 12th birthday I had about 15-20 of my best friends come over. We watched a movie, ate, talked .. stuff like that. After that we had cake. We listend to music, and talked. Taking is really fun once you have everyone together. We played games and my friends are just crazy so we made up our own. We dressed up as celeberties and we stuffed our butts and bras with tons of toilet paper, put tons of make up and dressed up kinda slutty, but it was just us so no biggy. It was a blast and we took pictures! After, we did makeovers! Those are a blast. We sat on my pool table and acted like professionals and did our hair and such and later had a dance off. We made up our own dances and I was the judge. (I'm telling you about my birthday so it can give you ideas, if it's boring you, sorry.=( Later, couple of my friends fell asleep and then since we couldn't sleep, we played a weird game. I think it was when you say a letter like A all of us sat in a circle and had to think of something that started with that letter. If we got stuck, we had this lime thing with sugar and we had to pick a person to put it on and lick it off their body. Weird and random, but that's what got people not to lose. =] Anyways, just have your friends over and have fun.

mom is a A-cup, but my sister is a C-cup.

First of all, you are defenetly not too old to have a boyfriend. You're really young and most girls don't even start dating until they're about 16 years old. You're still maturing and your breasts might grow, but having big breasts isn't everything. If guys don't want you because you might have small breasts, they're big jerks and you don't even want someone like that. Surgery is serious. You're still young to get it and I personally don't recomend it but if it's something that you want when you're older, that's your decision. If you want people to love you, just be yourself. You don't need large breasts for that. You don't need shallow people in your life. Surgery isn't the best way to get your life back and besides, your life isn't even ruined..

okay, well its summer and i have a choice with two guys. one guy, (sam)- i already went out iwth, and things were great before we went out, like we'd be normal and talkitive, but when we went out it was all akward and he just broke up with his girlfriend and likes me again, and i think i like him to but i dont want to be an akward relathionship again. and the other guy- (mic) is one of my best friends, and i thnk ive liked him before and hes liked me before. hes on hell of a guy, i just dont really see myself doing anything sexual with him though. but im not sure if i really want a boyfriend over summer.. the problem is if i do go out with either one right now would be best because then theyre going into higshcool and im still in junior high with a small amount of kids and they'll be meating new ppl. im just kinda confused now, and it doesnt help that im still in the process of getting over this one guy whom ive had issues with for a year and i kinda compare any other guy to him cause he is flirty and what i want in a guy, besides hes a jerk sometimes but yeah. well what is your opinion? sry if its confusing

You don't seem to be ready to get into a realatioonship right now and even thought you might like these guys a little, you shoulnd't just go out with one because you're not sure if something might be there again. Since it's summer and you don't know if you want a boyfriend or not, just don't have one. Have fun with both of the guys as friends and just flirt and talk and then at the end of summer, see how you feel about both of them. You don't have to push yourself to go out with one of them and plus, you're trying to get over another guy so you will have a lot of things to think about so just be single and have fun. It will get your mind of that guy and maybe help you make up your mind later on. Just take it day by day and see what might happen.

Who ever made that website is pathetic and has no idea about health or losing weight. It's a whole bunch of bull crap and do not listen to any of that. "If you aren't thin, you're ugly." What kind of crap is that? Those rules are fake. And the stupidest thing on that website is "Being thin and perfect are signs of true determination." Being thin is not important. If you weigh 200 pounds and you're perfectly healthy, that's great! Looking thin and being unhealthy and sick, is gross. Anyways, don't belive anything on that website. It's bull and not true. In order to lose weight, you need to eat and be healthy and people just don't understand how important that actually is. If you want to tone down your body a little, just eat normaly and exercise. Eat fruits and if you don't like them, make a smothie. Also, veggies. If you don't like them, drink V8 because you'll get a full serving.

Your lips are chaped and you should try using chapstick. Blistex and Carmex work really good.

Telling him or not telling him isn't really a big deal. If you want to tell him go for it but it's really no big deal. It wouldn't be weird because he even said it would give you something of his to sleep with.
