Tommorow me & my friend are going out to the pool, and we really want nice dark tans. okay, so if we use SPF 30, water resistant, with UVA UVB protection sunscreen AND then put baby oil on will we tan and NOT burn?
A tan is just burnt skin rising to the surface. So, technically, if you're tanning, you're burning. If you use adequate sunscreen and reapply it frequently, your skin should only turn a few shades darker, depending on how long you're in the sun and how badly you burn.
hi well recently i was at he beach and i only put a little suntan lotion on and my WHOLE stomach is burnttt.....

Sunblock will prevent you from getting burnt. A tan is basically damaged skin rising to the surface. SPF probably will not prevent you from getting a tan. However, your tan will be much less apparant than when you did not use sunblock. Depending on how long you spend in the sun, your skin will probably turn a few shades darker, but it will not be a tan color.
The pain goes away within a few days. If you keep washing the sunburnt area with cold water, it will feel better. Don't rub it too hard, though. Tip: if you shower with cold water within the first few hours after you get your sunburn, your pain will lessen significantly until the sunburn goes away.
You may want to consider using a moisturizer that contains SPF. I use Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 on my face. It also evens out skin tone and texture, even celebrities use it. I LOVE it-- my face has totally looked clearer and healthier. If you burn easily on your stomach, you may even want to apply this product before you hit the beach.
Remember, SPF is in and skin cancer is out, so remember to apply sunscreen.

I really want to get side swept bangs, but I don't know if i'll like it on me!
I think they are really cute and I want to take a risk... but i'm just really scared that it'll turn out bad and that i'll regret it. HELP!!! I keep chickening out!
Side swept bangs are actually going out and full bangs are in. Someone I know got them and they look REALLY cute on her. However, there are still gonna be a ton of people with side bangs, so get them if you want them. They look good on everyone, and they'll grow back faster then you think.

You have to delete your cookies, too. For IE 7.0:
Tools >> Internet Options >> Under Browsing History, Delete >> Delete All >> Yes >> wait a bit >> Close >> OK >> close out of your browser and reopen it and everything should be gone.
u know if you want to use tampax do u have to be a certain age?

If it is not, there is no need to repeat your purpose sentence in your conclusion.

Do you think it is safe if me and my friend both go to NYC together? We're 15 and we live in NJ but it's kinda close & we can get there by bus.
We've gone to NYC like a lot of times but never by ourselves.. & We know how to get around, but it's like.. do you think we will get kidnapped or something? I haven't really heard of that happening & with so many people why would they take us..? But idk, what's your opinion?
Since you're 15 and with someone else, I think you would be fine. I know that a 9-y/o flew on an airplane to a different continent by herself lol. Just always have your cell phone on and ready, in case anything bad happens, and call home every hour or so to make sure your parents don't get worried.
I think that if you were in a bigger group it may be better... try inviting a few more friends if either of your parents don't think its safe.

Are you talking about flyaway strands? That could be caused by hairs breaking, esp. if it just started happening suddenly. If you damage your hair, like by using heat on it often, like a straightening iron or curling iron or even blow drying, your hair could break.
Spray some hairspray on your hand, then smooth it over the top of your hair. That should help take care of flyaways. There are also special shampoos and conditioners to control flyaways and frizz.
However, if your hair is pouffy... it might be because you have been putting it up in a bun overnight. That's what happens to me sometimes, so I just wash my hair when I wake up instead of before I go to bed.

Ok so my boyfriend is in lots of sports and when ever the team wins his coaches take them out to Hooters. which i kinda have a problem with that cause i dont want my bf looking at other girls like that. and i no that its what guys do but it hurts me ive tried talking to him about it but he still keeps going anyways. If the entire team is going to Hooters, then it would be unfair to stop your boyfriend from going. You look at other guys occassionally, so why can't your boyfriend look at other girls?
One of the main concepts of a relationship is trust. Unless you hear another member of the team hooks up with a Hooters girl, I wouldn't be worried. If you want, call your boyfriend every few times he goes to Hooters, just to remind him that he has a girlfriend waiting for him at home. Just don't make it a habit to call every time, because you may come off as clingy or overly-worried.
Then again... its another issue that a COACH, a teacher associated with public education, is taking his boys to Hooters, of all places... I'm surprised nobody has complained, lol. If I were you, I wouldn't do anything about it personally though, because then your boyfriend would definitely think you were overprotective.

3 guys at age 13. That's not bad. You're still very young, and your past relationships probably weren't even relationships at all. The special guys are worth waiting for. Trust me, I know. It sounds a bit corny, but if you're changing to meet other people's standards, then a guy isn't gonna fall in love with the real you. And, worse, the guy that you're really meant for won't be able to love you, because you're too busy pretending to be somebody else.
Take it slow and value your relationships. You're still young and you'll have many more hearts to break as you get older.

Personally, I think that you should wait til marriage, or at least when your plans are in the works for marriage. Its the best gift you can give to the one you really love.
You're fourteen, and although you may not think so, you're very inexperienced in love. 9 months may seem like a long time, but its really not for someone your age. If you were dating all through high school and absolutely sure he was the one, then it might not be a horrible idea. But you're going to love many more people before you marry. And losing your virginity this young when you're this inexperienced, in love and in sex, is something you will undoubtedly regret. Practically all middle school / high school relationships never last. And, although I congratulate you for holding a relationship for this long, you're not gonna hold out for a long time. Also, a big possibility; what if something goes wrong and you end up pregnant? The biggest question to ask yourself is, am I ready for the consequences? What will I do? How will my parents react? How will my boyfriend react? And the answer to that last question, you both being this young, is that he will break up with you because he can't handle the commttment of being a father, or the eventuality of marriage.
Take it slow, and don't rush things. If you're absolutely, 100% sure that you're gonna have a long-lasting relationship with him, and he has agreed that he will stick by you if you get pregnant (which, even if he has, he will probably bail out of if it occurs), and you are totally ready to handle the emotional and physical consequences of having a baby, then go for it. But, if you have any shadow of a doubt that those things are untrue, hold off on the sex. You're still young, and many more people will come along.

I didn't know what category this would go in, but... My birthday is on JUne 24th. I wanted to have a get together with my friends, just 6. My mom says no. She wants to go out for my birthday with her, my dad, and sister. I hate family birthday parties because first, they embarress me worse than watching Tellatubies with a five year old in front of 6 million people! Second, my dad always yells at me and hurts me on my birthday's. I've only had 2 birthday parties my entire life! And now I'm turning 13, but my family says parties are for babies! Can somebody help me?! I want to convince my mom that I want just 6 friends over and stay the night! I really want a good 13th birthday party! (Yes, I know. Your thinking, I thought you're only supposed to be 13 to be on this site. Hey! Technaiclly, i am 13!)
Try asking to have your friends over the day before or day after, that way you can still have a family birthday party on your actual birthday. Family parties aren't thaaat bad, as long as you're not in public. Try to convince them to have a cookout and cake at home, or a restaurant that nobody your age goes to.
If worst comes to worst, explain your situation to one of your better friends and ask one them to have the sleepover over their house. They should understand.

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. its ah-freakin-mazingg. I got it for like $10-15 at my hair salon. As long as I don't put my hair up after I take a shower (like in a bun), it comes out so straight most of the time I don't even have to straighten it with an iron.

Some causes of undereye circles are lack of sleep, too much sun, bad nutrition, lack of circulation, or, most likely, heredity. If anyone in your immediate family has baggy eyes then that;s probably where you inherited them from. If not, try to correct the problem.
Get a good concealer, I like CoverGirl, although you may want to try out a few brands to see what suits you best.
I think your eyebrows are fine, but you may want to use an eyebrow brush for the part of your eyebrows nearest the bridge of your nose. You can pick up a eyebrow / eyelash brush at a retail store like Target of Wal-Mart for 3 bucks.
About a month or two ago I made a promise to God that I would not masturbate until I turned 14. Several months ago, probably like 3 or 4 maybe 5, I turned 13. But, I broke that promise. And I know it's really bad to do that, and I'm a Catholic! But the really bad thing is, that I keep telling God I won't do it again, but I do! Sometimes when I cross my legs my clitoris throbs and it feels good, does that count? A part of me feels like he forgives me, partly because it was the time of my period when you're in heat, but part of me feels like he won't forgive me and I don't deserve to go to Heaven. I feel like I've broken my promise, God never breaks a promise and I feel unworthy. I talk to God a lot, I pray a lot, and praise him a lot. But sometimes I'm not nice to others like I should be. Like lying, or making fun of someone and not apologizing, although most of the time I do, yet I do it again! I truly, truly, truly need help to keep my promise and stay un-horny. Will I go to hell for this? Will he forgive me? I feel so scared, I want to go to Heaven! I worship God with all my heart, I really do. And I believe in Jesus and his commandments and in the beatitudes. But one night a while back, I wanted to sort of have my own way of getting an immediate answer with him. Years ago, I bought a statue of Jesus from Canada and the hands broke off accidentally. So I took one hand and fell alseep with it in my hand and asked him to have me wake up with it on the right side of my bed if the answer was "Yes, you will go to Heaven." and it go to the left side if the answer was no. It landed on the left side underneath me! I'm scared. I've done this before, and I asked him if I would meet my sisters in Heaven (I never met them) and it landed on the right side. Is this kind of witch craft or something? Well I'm really scared, so please answer this question!
If you were in the "heat" cycle of your period, then it isn't totally your fault. I mean, God doesn't control each woman's bodily urges. I'm sure that all of your good outweighs your bad, so just keep trying to not do it again. As long as you try your hardest and pray for forgiveness, God will forgive.
About the hands of Jesus... if you are this devout a Catholic, I doubt that Jesus purposefully left the part of his statue hand on the left side of your bed to symbolize that you aren't going to heaven. Instead, I think He may have been testing you, so that you may try harder and obey your promises more to get into Heaven. I wouldn't worry about it, and no, it is not witchcraft.

i hate my stepmom. i kno hate is a strong word and well, my feelings are strong. she is sooo mean to me!! she doesnt like abuse me but the things she says really hurt. she always calls me fat (im 14 5'2 and 97 lbs.) and maybe thats fat but i dont think she needs to remind me of it every single day. i cant have friends over because she is sooo rude to everyone. i cant talk to my dad about it because he doesnt want to deal with it and i cant talk to her because she doesnt care. how can i ignore it? and pleaseeee dont say to talk to my dad. i really dont know what to do anymore.

i have a situation similar to this... make as little contact as possible. Be civil and polite, so she can't complain, but attempt to keep the well-deserved snide remarks and rude comments to yourself. Stay over people's houses as often as possible, and do stuff with your friends. When you can't, lock yourself in your room and find things to do, like going on the computer, watching TV, listening to your iPod, or (when school starts) doing homework. It sounds like a lonely life (and it can be sometimes) but it will keep you sane and away from your stepmom.

I think it means exactly what it says. Think about bullies in school. First, they ignore, then after enough of that, they laugh. Then they get sick of you and fight you, but if you have the strength, then you win.

CoverGirl is amazinggg... your hair comes out straight, but not that damaged-looking bushy straight. And it doesn't get damaged easily. But don't let it fool you, it will eventually... it took me 3 months, straightening every day... but then it got damaged fast and I was screwed lol. I think its $25, I got mine at Target.
Normally, i am a really outgoing and funny person. but whenever i get around the guy i like, i get really shy and nervous. i want him to like me back, and people are always saying to flirt and make him laugh. but i get afraid that i will say something stupid. how can i get over this?
Just be yourself. You want him to fall in love with the outgoing and funny you, not the shy and nervous you. You're an amazing person, so don't be afraid to show it off. Some guys like it when girls say something stupid because they're nervous -- haha, I know it sounds messed up, but I read it in a magazine -- because it shows that the girl reaally likes them. But, if he's not into you, he won't notice. So next time you see him, gather up your courage and talk to him about something, anything! You'll be fine.
