I'm a mom of two, who has had her share of problems, and likes to help others with their own. I love helping people, and knowing that I can make a difference. I can't help with everything, but I'll always try to make people smile and just feel good about themselves. I've had more than my share of family drama and problems; what with my parents coming from two different and clashing cultures. I've also moved around a lot and had to deal with changing schools and all the trauma of making new friends and fitting in. I'm good with questions about friends, relationships (love, family..you name it), tough decisions, technology, and other weird random questions.I'm a great listener, but I make sure to understand both sides of the story as well.

k so i have oily skin and i get the random zit, it usually hurts and it lasts about 5 days. what kinda ointment do u suggest i use? something cheaper that u can buy from like zellers or shoppers, k thx.
well sometimes i use Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment or Clean & Clear Invisible Blemish Treatment. Both work really well. I've also heard of Clean & Clear Advantage Invisible Acne Patch and Advantage Concealing Treatment Stick; I haven't tried either though.
These target the occasional pimples, if you're looking for a face wash or cream for your entire face there are also some really good Clean & Clear face washes and creams.

Well it just always seems like when I meet a new boy I have a crush on him and I don't get it I can't really tell if its true or just my stupid slef wanted a boyfriend so I tell myself like him you can get him like him! Err I don't know I'm confused so I don't know if its a real crush or just a "fake crush"?!
im guessing your between the ages of 13-15, and if so then its just a crush. I didnt really know there was such a thing as a fake crush..i always thought crushes were just temporary feelings for a person, nothing serious. and thats what you have. when i was around that age, i had a crush on almost every boy i saw. so most likely its a "fake crush".
ok well my boyfriend was over 2day and i had a sip of alcohol and he got pissed and he wouldnt talk 2 me. He is really concerned because his family has problems with alcohol and he is sXe for all of you who know wat that is. He was i dunno he was like dissapointed and well i hurt him like his feelings like he told me I hurt him and now i feel wicked bad. I promised him and myself that i wont ever have any more alcohol and well im scared. If you were me wat would you do?

Well i have always had this dream of being an actress. Ever since i was a little girl. So i asked my mom if i could start taking some acting classes. She said she would only pay for something that she could tell i was passionate about. So i had to prove to her that i really wanted it by taking theatre in school. Well i did and everyone says that i was very good at improv and i would be great in the acting business. My mom however, disagreed and now she won't let me take classes! How am i going to persue my carrer??? HELP ME!!!

Their is obviously another reason she is telling you no. You should go to her and calmly talk this out. Let her know how much you want to take those classes, and ask her what her reasons are for not letting you take the classes, other than not being passionate (because you already showed her that you are). and remember stay calm and mature in the conversation.
So i have stretch marks, yes we all do. But there on my stomach and it annoys me. Ive been working out and trying to lose weight so my question is will they go away once i lose weight?
sorry to say this, but most likely they wont. because your skin has already been stretched. They do fade a bit, but they never go away. :(

Hello, recently I have had major problems with my friends and I have really only been hanging out with my mom. We have fun and all, but is this healthy? She seems to be the only person I can count on who actually likes me for who I am.

my mom is my best friend, and I'm 20. lool shes not my only friend...but she is my best friend. shes the only one besides my boyfriend who pretty much knows me inside and out.
i like to shave my pubic hairs and sometimes after i get bumps, how do i keep that from happening, is there a special way i should be shaving, its just really embarassing. please help, thanks!
there are some types of shaving gel you can use for that area, that prevents bumps. I honestly don't know if they work since I've never tried it myself, but I have friends who have recommended it to me. It should be in the same aisles as regular women's shaving creams and razors.
There's a talent show at my school coming up really soon and I'd like to play piano and sing. :-) Does anyone know any really nice piano songs that I could play piano and sing to? They could be easy to play or hard, it doesn't matter. Maybe some alternative/rock songs that are somewhat lesser know? Any suggestions would be great. Thanksss! :-)

Your completely normal, I got my period when I was 12, which is the average age. but my one of my close friend didnt get her period until she was 19.
so don't worry about it! :)
when I first got my period, the only signs were hair and breasts, and also my body started to have more curves.
Okay, so I am going to college next school year.
I've never been into any real or intimate relationships because there's not a lot of guys to choose from in our school(if you know what i mean...;) ).

the best way to attract the right guy is to be urself. my boyfriend told me that guys hate girls that act dumb or try to hard. he said what he loved about me, was that i wasn't like everyone else. i wasn't like the rest of the girls. so the best thing to do to attract a guy is to stand out by being urself..because nobody can be like you.

you could do that with any adobe photoshop. from 7.0 up to the most recent CS3. the most recent one is kinda expensive, actually all of them are pretty expensive, so i suggest that before going out and buying it ask around to see if any of your friends or friends of your friends have the CD. that way you can borrow it and install it without having to buy it yourself. :)
I have an infected knee (the clinic doctor thinks) so I've been taking antibiotics for the infection. About 3 days after I started the antibiotics I started to get sick. Unless being sick is directly related to the antibiotics, I shouldn't be getting sick, right? Or am I wrong about what antibiotics do?
Sometimes antibiotics can make you sick, nauseous, etc. but i think this question should be directed to the doctor who put you on the medication not towards us. :)
ok. so i've lived in my house for my whole life (litterally). and now, my mom says we're moving. at first i was upset. but now i'm ok with it. my parents are divorced and my dad is trying to stop us from moving. and if he does, we don't know what's going to happen. should i confront my dad? or just let this whole thing go?
ps. if we DO move, i'll lose ALL my 6 cats and more.

anyway, first things first. i'm sort of... ugly. my nose is too big, it's uneven and almost witch-like. i have one of the most pointed chins i have ever seen; it almost goes past my nose when i smile. my smile is ugly too, it's not right.
i'm not looking for an answer like surgery or whatever.
it's just that my looks could seriously affect my opportunities in the future. right now, i have my circle of friends, and everyone knows me and my personality. but i leave for university next year; i'm afraid that my looks will be like a hinderance to my making friends, i'm shy until i get really close to the person before i become myself.
i dunno. i'm probably the most hideous woman i've ever seen.

Listen, beauty comes from the inside. looks fade away and eventually everyone is ugly, and all that is left of them is their personality. you seem like a person who's got a great personality, so consider yourself lucky. because whether you realize it or not you got the better half of the deal...you got something that never fades.
and about college, it will not be a hinderance to you making friends, most college students are mature enough to see beyond looks. I'm sure you will have just as many friends, maybe even more than you do now. all you need to do, is have a little more confidence in yourself, and be proud of who you are. :)

drink lots and lots of water, and even thought you're craving sugar and chocolate try to stay away from it because it can cause worse cramps (thats what my doctor said). so lots of water, sometimes a hot water bottle on your stomach or abdomen can help, any pain killer that has ibuprofen, and eat healthy foods.
hey, well i was really bored today in science and decided to color my nails in with whiteout -- stupid i know. anyways its not really coming off. any ideas?
usually nail polish remover works for taking off white out...i should know. i vandalized a skool bus seat with whiteout, and had to remove it. i used nail polish remover and it worked..good luck! :)
Is it true that you get cravings around your period? cuz ever since i've gotten my period (I've had it for a while, but its "the time o' month again") I've been craving cheese and jellybeans. like alot.
yup cravings are totally normal! :) i really crave chocolate, and i also turn into a bottomless pit..i just can't stop eating. :D

it really depends on a person's definition of paradise. what is paradise to you?? for some paradise is a place filled with beauty and relaxation, and a beach has just that. the warm sand, the soothing sound of the waves hitting the shore, or crashing against the rocks. the clear skies (if its warm out), and the sun.

it is going to be hard to get over him, and you probably won't forget him because he was your first bf. but just try spending more time with friends, and occupy your time with fun things. you still have plenty of time to find the right guy. :)
- I do not have texting on my verizon phone.
- I heard that verizon-to-verizon texts were free...
- I recntly found out that is not true if you don't buy a certain plan.
- My father pays for my phone bill, and he will FREAK out when he gets it for this month.
- I am VERY worried though. My parents are strict, & I mean VERY strict. & I have been texting this boy.
My questions are the following:
1. Can my dad read what I have sent?
2. If so, is there any way of me changing that?
3. Does it show who I've been texting or just the number?
4. How can I block any incoming or outgoing texting; I guess take it off my phone?

1. your dad cannot read what you've sent, unless he takes your phone and goes through the sent messages folder.
3. it only shows the number.
4. some phone companies will block incoming messages, if you call in and ask. and the way to block outgoing messages is to not send any. haha
also if you don't wanna call to block incoming messages, what you have to do is not open any incoming messages..just delete them. that way you don't have to pay for them.
